I’m so glad I found out about this place because I’ve always wanted to do a proper olive oil tasting! It was so cool to learn more about olive oil and the interesting history of their olive trees. Charlie (the tasting room manager) was so nice and fun to talk to! And they are dog friendly and they also have the cutest tasting room!! This is such a good alternative to wine tasting for anyone who doesn’t drink or just anyone who is interested in learning more about specialty food products like small batch olive oils! I can’t wait to try the bottle of olive oil I purchased when I get home!

We stopped here for a weekend girl’s trip and it was awesome! So attentive and tasty! The fig balsamic vinegar was SO SO good! It even beat the olive oil ice cream, but not by much. Do yourself a favor and add this to your day!

An excellent tasting of spectacular extra virgin oils and balsamic vinegars, each paired with scrumptious small bites to complement each flight. Such a unique and curated experience that you will not forget. I am local and this is truly a one-of-a-kind tasting. The service by Charlie and Carolina was above and beyond. Run, don't walk to Grove 45. It is a must see for any visitor (and local) to Napa Valley.

We were Ride-In for some gifts and ended up staying for the full tasting !!!! This was one of our best experiences in Calistoga !!! The knowledge we got from Charlie was amazing!!! We had the privilege of meeting the entire WOMEN owned team…Ana, Marcela, Carolina, Krisi… we highly recommend this tasting especially if you’re looking to detox a bit from the wines !!!!Highly recommend!!!

After wine tasting across the street, we took a welcomed break at Grove 45. Yes, they do have a Rosè but the emphasis is on the olive oil and balsamic. It was a true delight to learn about and taste the olive oil and aged balsamic. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable; there was no hard sale here.To top off the tasting was their olive oil cake and ice cream. Currently in development, they are waiting for certification so they can sell it.Whether you are knowledgeable about olive oil and balsamic or not, stop by for a delightful visit.

We were greeted superbly by hostess, Charlie (no reservations). Then we experienced an amazing tasting with a glass of Rose with amazing explanations of each Olive Oil tastings. One of the absolutel best experiences ever thanks to Charlie (only issue being a Man Utd fan) but I overlooked that (Liverpool fan) as this was business 🙂. Even met the owner by chance who was also very personable.Your brilliant Charlie. All the best!!.

Came upon this place and the event, Bouquets & Vinaigrettes Class, by accident. Talk about a wonderful, memorable way to spend the afternoon! This certainly was it!! We made wonderfully delicious garden veggie bouquets, vinaigrettes, and aiolis. We had grilled veggies to dip into various different aiolis and vinaigrettes before choosing which to make. We learned how to make a bouquet from farm fresh veggies. What a wonderful gift to give instead of the same old bouquet of flowers...much more useful. The customer service between all collaborators was phenomenal and we couldn't ask for more. So come on out here to Calistoga and partake in this wonderful event. There are only 2 more of these events left for the spring March 3rd and 9th.

Overall a 3. Staff is a 5- gracious, enthusiastic, and informative. Interesting history of the Hernandez family. Tasting room is a 4- nice enough but small and I was unsure of where else I could go- outside? Bathroom? Olive oil is a 3.5- good but not worth the high cost of my purchase. While they didn’t pressure me to do so, I still felt obligated to purchase a few bottles. Value is a 1- not good quality food and certainly not worth $40. No offer of gluten-free option either. If price isn’t a factor, and you’re looking for something to do, I’d definitely recommend! I couldn’t find more than 1 other place that had olive oil tasting with food. If you’re an olive oil enthusiast, many others around have tastings with many more options of olive oil, infused olive oils, and balsamic vinegars for free without food.

What an absolutely amazing unexpected experience. We were staying down the road and had passed Grove 45 on the way to wine tastings. We stopped in and had the most delicious olive oil and balsamic tasting with Jesse. Delicious rose, homemade focaccia and the most delicious olive oil ice cream and cake. Such an unexpected treat and a wonderful way to spend an hour. They ship as well and we’re able to ship items we wanted to buy back to Chicago. Jesse was extraordinary and we will be back the next time we are in Calistoga. Highly recommend!

From start to finish, our tasting experience was exceptional. The decor is beautifully unique and all staff members we encountered were knowledgable and so pleasant to talk with. All olive oils were high quality and the olive oil ice cream and olive oil cake were such a treat. Definitely a fun switch up from the usual Napa Valley wine tasting experience.

Tried this LOVELY olive oil tasting experience out and to say that it exceeded my expectations is an understatement!!! Napa county needed this! My family wanted an alternative option to wine tasting and this was family friendly, delicious, and the owners were a joy to listen to as they taught us a ton about olive oil. We walked out with a bag full olive oil bottles to gift to the rest of my family. Will be back!!!!! A MUST go when in the area.

The Grove 45 tasting room is my new favorite spot in Napa Valley! The entire experience is so well curated and you walk away with newfound knowledge and appreciation of olive oil (and balsamic). The beautiful interior design is tasteful and the olive oil is TASTY. I’ll be back again…and again.
