Great experience! We booked a seated tasting at Girard and got the full Napa Valley experience! Josh was an incredible host, extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Our two small dogs were also welcomed with open arms. Not to mention, the wines were wonderful. It’s no surprise the winery is rated so highly.

We love Girard. Josh is always great. The tasting experience is great. Great ambiance. Josh is amazing. The small cheese board accompanying the wines is great. Sitting outside with the fireplace and beautiful views is our favorite spot.

Such a great winery! We are always taken care of during our tasting. The wine is delicious. The setting is beautiful. My husband and I became members we loved it so much. They have sister wineries that you can also go to thanks to the membership. They even have EV chargers.

Came here with a small group for a wine tasting under Atul Kapoor of Akbar Cuisine of India. The location itself was pristine and beautiful. They also have spots inside and outside where you could do your tasting if you have a preference. The staff was very very nice and friendly and they treated our group well. We got to try six different wines off of their regular distribution list. The lady serving us explained in impeccable detail each of the wines they served us. They gave us lunch recommendations in the area and even let us stick around to take pictures after our tasting was over. Overall a great experience if you want to venture out a bit further from hotspots in Napa and see the Geyser and Mud baths.

Emily, our server and the front desk manager went above and beyond to make sure our group was well situated, patiently explained the wines and not once tried to sell or upsell anything. We ended up getting an annual subscription because of her. Oh and the wines are delicious!

We attended the Fall Gathering at Girard Winery this weekend and it was fantastic. The paella was amazing and paired well with all the wines, which, they had at really good discounts The music was great and all the staff were very friendly and helpful as usual. If you have the opportunity to go in the future I highly recommend it.

Lovely experience at the tasting room today. Kendall, our server, made us feel absolutely at home and treated our pup so well. Delicious wine and nice ambience, the cheese pairing as part of the timeless tasting was amazing and generous portions. Would totally come back!

We visit quite a few wineries and find that the Girard tasting experience is one of the best. They have many varietals and they are all delicious- red and white. We never leave without a case and have a hard time deciding what we want to take home, every time. Kendall puts together a cheese and charcuterie pairing that perfectly enhances each wine. The grounds are spectacular as well. And, the cozy fireplace and gorgeous tasting room is wonderful all year round.

Girard.! Period! Exclamation Point! We live in the Bay Area and have had plenty of wine country trips. This specific weekend, Girard was the standout! Our tasting and pairing was with Nici. She took the time to talk to us before the tasting started, getting to know our wine preferences as well as how she could match our pallets. She was informative without going way over our heads with wine knowledge. We enjoyed our tasting, all the wine, and Nici absolutely elevated the experience. I became a member, and you should too!!

We were greeted with a refreshing sparkling wine! Each of the wines in the tasting flight were paired with a specially selected cheese as well as either a sweet or savory bite. The food and wine pairing were excellent! When discussing our wine preferences, were poured a great zinfandel. We would highly recommend visiting Girard!

I have been to many wine tastings from Nor Cal to So Cal live near Temecula and Girard is THE place I will recommend in the Napa valley. Checks all the boxes lovely wines, attentive hosts, memorable views, patio perfection the fireplace) relaxed unhurried vibe, and finally the charcuterie pairing perfection - dried peach who knew 💜. They asked about diet restrictions that was a first!I encourage visitors to Napa valley to make Girard winery a must visit.

My wife and I along with some friends recently reserved a Timeless Tasting experience at Girard and were once again reminded why Girard is our favorite winery in Napa. Not only were all of the wines we sampled exceptional, but the food pairings that accompanied them turned the heads of the other visitors at the winery as they were brought out to us. The charcuterie pairings complimented the wines perfectly and changed the flavors in the wines in a wonderful way. It was raining the day we visited so we were thrilled when we were seated next to a fireplace in a pair of warm couches. Our server was very personable and knowledgeable in regard to all the wines and the different regions of Napa that were used to produce the wines we tasted. It was our favorite tasting of our weekend and we look forward to visiting again soon.

Not impressed.Let’s begin with the website. If you plan to visit this winery, call to book instead of looking at their site. The site says “walk-ins welcome” but this is definitely not the case. We were turned away at the door and told to come back in two hours when they had availability. Great. Also on the website is their Timeless tasting menu, that comes with cheese pairings for each wine. No other tasting option is listed by the way. So when we arrived two hours later for our reservation, we got the Classic tasting, which does not have cheese pairings. But don’t fear! They have an overpriced fruit and cheese plate that I could only eat half of. Don’t use their site, call if you're interested and book two weeks in advance if you want the tasting with cheese.Girard winery sits on a beautiful estate with many rows of grape vines that probably make great wine. I wouldn’t know because none of the grapes grown on the estate make any the wines on the tasting list. The grapes on the estate get spread into blends that also weren’t on the tasting list. Wines that were on the list are from other regions, and blends from other wineries that when we asked we were told, “don’t worry about it.” Okay..?The first wines were light and plain, yes they were a Rosé and a Chardonnay but these were the wines they chose to represent the winery? The next few were reds that were muddy and didn’t have the flavors we were expecting. One that did stand out was the Malbec, the only non blend on their list, shocker.In short, we spent $155 to be disappointed. If you come here, take good photos and enjoy the beautiful building and estate.

Girard Winery & Tasting room went above and beyond! The wines are outstanding and the warm host welcomed our family with open arms. Very family friendly! The sommelier was definitely a master in his field and made the experience so wonderful.

We loved Girard! We had a reservation for 10/1/21. From the moment we arrived (with an extra person), we were welcomed and treated with kind hospitality during the whole visit. Kendall G. was our server and she was excellent. We had a seated tasting on their covered patio, and liked ALL the wines a lot, including the whites, which is not normal for me. I usually only drink reds. We also really enjoyed the cheese plate. Before we left, Kendall offered us a “final final,” which we thought was so perfect because that’s what we do at the end of tailgates here at home. Ha ha! Girard wines are fantastic, and we bought more here than any of the other wineries we visited this trip. Girard was a highlight of our trip. Thank you!

As always, the visit was delightful. The staff were fun and very nice. Very good wines at a decent price point... and so many that there's definitely something for everyone to love... (I favor big reds so the petite verdot, cab frank, mixed blacks and cabs are favorites. Mixed whites is very nice too!12/24/2023Another 5☆ visit. Christmas Eve tasting for 9 + 2 teens with us. Wondering setting, they even provided cozy blankets in case we were cold (and we were seated inside🙂) staff was, as always fun, informative, and generous of spirit and information. Family from Hawaii as well as California were delighted withthe the offerings. Great bites to enhance the tasting and I really enjoyed the wine selections. A great start to our Christmas celebration. Thank you!

Wonderfully relaxing atmosphere at Girard Winery. We leisurely sampled a selection of Girard wines as Nicci provided detailed descriptions of each wine, jncuding its sources and characteristics. Nicci answered all our questions and explained how the cheese pairings helped bring out the flavors and characters of the wines.The wines were generally superb and everyone in our group found several favorites to purchase for enjoyment at home.The Winery has a beauty in itself, and so provides a perfect setting for Girard's knowledgeable hosts to demonstrate their wonderful vintages. You won't be disappointed when you visit.
