Envy Wines is a great place to kick back, relax, and enjoy some high quality estate grown wines in Napa Valley. Conveniently located near adjacent towns, of Calistoga, St. Helena, and Santa Rosa, this offering makes for a great visit, day trip, or wine tour and highly accessible from main roads.The service is phenomenal. Erin was able to explain the wines, grapes, process, and things to do in the area. She was so pleasant to speak to and learn from. She is the definition of true hospitality.The atmosphere is laid back and welcoming. This property is friendly to all, including children, dogs, and cigars! Dress code is casual and the attitude is down to earth and not pretentious, so if you identify as a relaxed and casual person, you'll do just fine here!The wine tastings offer some on and off menu items, so you are getting what the menu promises and more. I enjoyed the 2021 Envy Chenin Blanc, the 2020 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, and the 2019 Borderline Petite Syrah. One of the off menu items was the dessert port wine, which I suggest to have with a piece of dark chocolate. A truly great pairing.I highly recommend Envy wines for the value and service provided!

Such a beautiful time with wonderful sunset, fine wines, silence and you are surrounded by mountains strewn with vineyards. You will definitely be lucky with the attendants. The guys here seem to see you and know what you want, they are very friendly and will do everything to make the time spent here remain in your memory forever. Thanks Napa, you gave us another find.

Envy is a delightful experience from top to bottom. Casual yet elegant, very welcoming and warm. Lacy led our tasting and her knowledge of the wine and the area is unmatched. The wines were wonderful esp their Petite Syrah. We also enjoyed the Rosé. We loved having a light lunch on their patio and we could even see Old Faithful when it spouted. We rented bikes in downtown Calistoga and had an easy ride to this lovely property. Thank you for a great day.

We all really liked the wines and appreciated the east going environment in which we tasted. Erin made us feel at home as we tasted wines, ate our picnic, and enjoyed the beautiful views. We highly recommend tasting here for great wine and nice people!

First, let’s talk about Megan, she was amazing! So fun, full of life and such a great conversationalist. It was like talking to a friend we’d known for years. She made this, the best winery experience I’ve had.The wine was great, sitting outside in the 70 degree weather, with the breeze and the vineyards was delightful, it’s not over the top, it’s just simple and delightful. I will be back. Hopefully with the same crew, so we can get to know Megan and her husband more. And maybe meet the owners of Envy!

I've been coming to the valley for over a decade and can safely say that Envy is my favorite tasting rooms to visit. My wife and I discovered it by accident scoping out places for our honeymoon, and Kathy gave us one of the most memorable tastings ever. Since then we've been back several times and have introduced a lot of friends and family to their wine. Erin's hosted us several times and has been fantastic. Each time has been a personable experience that was tailored to wine lovers and novices alike, knowledgeable without an ounce of pretension. Plus, if you're lucky the winery dogs might come and say hello. When COVID restrictions are lifted this is one of the first places I'm going.

We had a great experience at Envy. The wine was exceptional, including the best Petite Syrah in the valley (in my opinion). Our sommelier answered all our questions with enthusiasm, and the tasting was laid-back with great views. One of the best experience of our trip.

Envy is a great little winery in Napa and my pick for the best place to start any wine tour. The smaller size and highly knowledgeable staff make it an approachable yet high end start. We loved the service and wine and had several bottles shipped home

I am mindblown about the quality of wine here. Absolutely ridiculous that such a place still exists here. If you want an experience that recalls the golden days of Napa, when it was craft over Capitalism, this is the place for you.Note: Hailey and Erin here are fantastic and knowledgeable, but Envy is actually *not* women owned / operated.

The wines were pretty good, but the service here was beyond horrible. Kathy (Cathy) the manager was rude, not welcoming, and ruined my mom's first experience going wine tasting & this was for her birthday.I purchased a groupon and made reservations. Throughout our visit Cathy pointed out more than once that we were "Groupon" people. That we couldn't taste the "expensive wines", that we needed to move down and make room for people with real reservations. She was attentive and friendly to the "members" and regular paying customers and treated us like we were beneath her.Luckily Barbie took over and the service went up from there. This is the only reason I am giving them the 1 star.As long as Kathy is there, we wont be back.

I love their Petit Syrah and Bee Bees blend at Envy. Their Roses are amazing too, both day and night versions. Mark Carter has built a great brand and the small cosy place with great service is my go to in Calistoga.

First thing, extremely good wines. There wasn’t one thing I tasted that I didn’t like, and this is rare because I am very picky. Second thing, very personable people here. They made me feel like I was welcome and taught me some things as well. I would highly recommend envy to anyone coming through.

Stopped in for a Tasting and the sign indicated that we needed an appointment but we were greeted and treated very well. The wines were very good and the atmosphere was comfortable. I would recommended them highly.
