We were SO pleased with our stay! I loved that the cottage had a lot of history behind it, made for a much more interesting experience than the rather sterile Four Seasons up the street. The room was so cozy and impeccably clean and comfortable. There were so many little details in the room that made it clear the management truly values its guests and they have gone the extra mile to make their guests feel special. There was an Apple TV open to local attractions. A bouquet and bottle of sparkling rose were there in honor of our anniversary. There were adorable Italian espresso cups instead of paper. The sheets were impossibly soft and the bed perfectly comfortable. The bathroom floors and toilet seat were heated (great for the brisk early Spring weather). They use the same eco-friendly TP I use at home! The decor was a lovely balance of modern updating while keeping with the history. Nicole was in touch with us the whole time making sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast at the cafe was included, which was a most generous two slices of avocado toast (seriously like a whole avocado on there!). Great location too, right next to downtown Calistoga. I would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you for a great stay!

My husband and I took a quick 1 night trip to Calistoga as our Christmas Gift to one another and had the BEST time staying here. Nicole was incredibly helpful and communicative and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The room was delightful (ours had a fireplace) with beautiful hardwood floors, great shower water pressure and a comfortable bed. Everything felt clean and cared for. Highly highly recommend ❤️

We had three lovely days at Brannan Cottage Inn.The location is fantastic, rooms are beautiful set in the peaceful grounds. Nichole was the most attentive person I have ever experienced at a hotel. No request was too small.We will be back soon!

Rented all 6 rooms for my daughter’s wedding. It was perfect! Clean, updated rooms reasonably priced. Perfect location to be able to walk downtown - Sam’s social club right nearby. Cafe was great for a quick bite/coffee (breakfast was included). Property had places for our group to congregate outside and a fire pit. We had the whole place to ourselves, so we didn’t have to worry about other guests being disturbed. Staff was delightful! Comfortable beds…a great night’s sleep. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at the Brannan Cottage Inn. The location is great, the Inn is charming and the staff is professional and responsive. Our rooms (1 and 4) were well-appointed, although smaller than room 5 (where we stayed on a previous visit), but there are lots of outdoor spaces to gather and we especially enjoyed sitting around the fire pit. It is convenient to have Sam's General Store on the property; coffee and breakfast were excellent. Nicole provided us with the access codes to our rooms by text, which was great since our arrival was delayed. There was a mix-up regarding housekeeping with the room of the couple traveling with us. Nicole was very communicative and addressed their concerns.

We had a very enjoyable weekend with friends staying at Brannan Cottage Inn. The rooms were large, cozy and comfortable. The staff was very professional and accommodating. (Nicole is awesome). They have a great coffee and breakfast spot onsite, Sam's General Store, that is well known by the locals and always busy and the food and beverages are first rate. They also provide great references for transportation, dinners and wine tours. I look forward to our next visit.

The team at the Brannan Cottage Inn, led by Nicole S, were amazing. Both Nicoles went out of their way to make sure that our stay was the best it could be. From ensuring that we always had filtered bottle water to giving directions to my wife so she could borrow one of the hotel bicycles and enjoy Calistoga.The complimentary breakfastwas an added touch that was not expected.Months ago, I inquired about getting an early check-in and Nicole accommodated us. Large hotel chains do everything they can to discourage that. Nicole knew that we had to get to some pre wedding festivities, and she made sure that our room would be available to us.By the way, the food in Sam's general store was excellent and a very nice additional touch.Thank you, Nicole S, and Nichole B for making sure that our stay was the best that it could be.We will definitely visit their property again.

Excellent location in Calistoga. Peaceful, quaint and walking distance to shops/restaurants. Room was very comfortable, white linnen, heated bathroom and good coffee, overall perfect. Great outdoor seating with fire-pit. Nicole was super responsive with our check-in process and very helpful providing general information. Parking easy and free.

The room is charming, very clean (they have several items to make you feel as though the room was well sanitized, even a phone sanitizer!). The furnishings are very nice, and the service and communication before and after arrival via Nicole was impressive. The reason for the 4 Stars is it was hard to sleep well as everything outside could be heard in the room. The seal to the door was not strong, allowing light and cold air in. Noise included people arriving later to the hotel, street trash removal at 4:30am, etc. They also provide vouchers for breakfast pastries, beverages, etc. - I did not take advantage, but it's a nice gesture (and it looked good). The location to downtown Calistoga is great, but due to the noise and lack of sleep, I would not stay here again.

These little cottages are amazing. They are impeccably clean and modernized, while maintaining the original charm of the house. The owners' attention to detail in creating the space was remarkable: think heated toilet seat (which I never knew I needed before this trip), heated bathroom floors, ductless AC/heat that you can control, robes, slippers, essential oil diffuser.... Bed was comfy, awesome selection of snacks and wines. Coffee in the room was delicious, walking distance to spas, restaurants and wineries - or you can borrow their on-site bikes and ride. Check-in was completely contactless and the easiest I have ever seen anywhere - same with check-out. Grounds are beautiful! Cannot recommend highly enough.

This place was so cool. The charm of this place to stay at and eat breakfast was a great start to a full day of exploring the napa valley area. I highly recommend staying here. It's an easy walk to shops and dinner.Also, they had a warm toilet seat. We had never experienced that before and it was a nice touch. ;)The entry keypad, phone soap, fireplace, and nice bed were great amenities.Stay here. You won't regret it.
