This hotel was spotlessly clean, the rooms were large, with a few amenities like a microwave and refrigerator and the beds were so comfortable. The bathroom was also really modern and clean. The breakfast was quite limited in options but everything tasted great and the coffee with French vanilla cream really was the best filter coffee l've ever had!! One thing that we weren't overly impressed with though is that they didn't offer any housekeeping services because we were only staying for 2 nights, we would have expected to at least have our bed made up for the price we were paying! We did get given fresh towels because we asked for them. The hotel also has an outdoor pool and fitness centre but we didn't make use of either. It is a short walk into town approx 10 mins and there are restaurants, wine tasting rooms, bars and shops. I would definitely recommend Best Western Plus Stevenson Manor, thank you for a lovely stay.

This place is such a delight!I'd previously noticed that the BW Stevenson Manor is rated as a two-star level hotel--meaning it meets the minimum standards needed for a comfortable one-night stay for maybe a business person. I have to say this is confusing to me because they have so many fabulous amenities!They have a pool and hot tub, a business area and they have the prettiest little courtyard with a large, trickling wall fountain. The lobby had a little area with drinks (including wine) and snacks and toiletries for sale and having previously been stuck in the area while hungry after everyone had closed, I'd say that's a pretty convenient perk!There is a fabulous complimentary buffet-style breakfast (I loved the yummy egg wontons and the large creamer dispenser--I always struggle to get enough creamer in my coffee when I'm away from home but not here!). The online tipping app is super convenient.The room was pretty and modern and clean with a nice sized tv that had plenty of channel options, a keurig, microwave and a rather large mini fridge. The bed was super comfy with big fluffy pillows and that's something coming from a gal with back problems.I can only guess at the 2 star rating maybe being because of the size of the hotel which seemed a little small. But I really don't find that to be a problem at all--they know how to maximize the space, allowing for a lot of great options for their guests and lots of comfort and efficiency. We didn't struggle to get a table at breakfast or get checked in in a timely fashion. Nor did we have to wait for elevators or hear all our neighbors. Instead of having to tromp through long corridors amid the masses, this place was very neatly set up and comfortably staffed so that we could feel very well cared for.

Nice place. Good beds. I enjoyed the hot tub and the pool. The only thing good about the breakfast was the waffles. I didn't know you could order an omelet until it was too late and I had to watery eggs. Nice staff. There's a good chance I will stay there again if I have to go down for surgery. Nice bathtub.Walkability: Easy walk to restaurants in town.

What a great hotel in Calistoga!! My husband and I were very impressed! I’m not sure how old this hotel is, but everything looked brand new! Our room along with the lobby and grounds were exceptionally clean.Our room was pretty large and had everything we needed, fridge, microwave, large bathroom. The only thing missing was a room safe, but no big deal.The pool area was WONDERFUL! Very quiet, clean and heated. I used both the pool and hot tub!The breakfast was typical, but nice. Fresh fruit, bagels, waffle maker, fresh to order omelettes. There was also a very lovely outdoor courtyard just outside the breakfast area! So nice!!!I would definitely stay here again.Everything in downtown Calistoga is just a short walk away!

I was pleasantly surprised with this Best Western hotel! It was an easy check-in/out process, updated decor, a large clean room with a refrigerator and microwave, balcony, and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Why I've never stayed here before when visiting Calistoga? I'm not sure, but this will be my go-to hotel on future visits!

Much nicer than other Best Western properties I have stayed in. Pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna were all clean and maintained. Gorgeous mountain views. Rooms were much larger than expected. Big soaking tub in our room. Breakfast did the job. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Only thing missing was an in-room safe.

Very nice hotel in walking distance to downtown Calistoga. Very nice hot breakfast every morning with a nice choice of foods, ceramic plates and real silverware and ceramic cups for the delicious hot coffee! Nice eating areas both inside and outside in shaded patio area. Large rooms with spacious bathroom, ours had a balcony looking out over the pool area.checkin went smoothly and everyone was gracious and helpful, will stay here again!

Rooms have plenty of space and the temperature is easily controllable. Towels and linen all newer and plenty adequate. Shower facilities really good. Swimming pool and hot tub met our needs. Complimentary breakfast was good-waffles, eggs, yogurt, fruit, and other amenities very satisfactory. Staff very helpful.

This property has been beautifully renovated and well kept. The courtyard was the perfect place to sip a glass of wine and the pool and hot tub were lovely. The breakfast every morning was elevated from the basic continental to include a couple of hot dishes as well. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful. This was actually our favourite hotel on our trip!

This was the view from our room 215. Lovely fall colors and a wisp of fog. The fireplace warmed the room well but wasn’t much to look at. When I mentioned that to staff, they said the flame is usually better and would have it checked. The room was spacious, the bed was good, fast internet, no problems. The breakfast was especially nice, fresh strawberries and blueberries and a soufflé in a wonton wrap like a savory cupcake. I also recommend Mangia Mi for dinner. The homemade pasta with swordfish was terrific as was the eggplant stack.

This hotel had the best bed and pillows. I ordered two pillows after my visit. The room and bathroom were large and comfortable. The sheets, bed linens & towels were very soft. The only outside noise I heard was the people above me on the second floor. Next time I would probably ask for a second story room. The breakfast was decent. The coffee wasn't that great. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is very close to the town area, definitely within walking distance. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very nice Best Western! Small hotel overall. Warmly received, friendly front desk. Made for a nice, relaxing vacation with two of our kids. Pool is heated and a great temperature, even when it is nippy outside. Lobby and breakfast area were recently remodeled and might have been the nicest Best Western lobby I've seen. Would gladly stay here again.

We have stayed at this hotel before, during remodeling, but this is the first time since it was finished. We were very impressed by the improvements and the way the hotel was run. The rooms were excellent and spacious. The staff was cheerful and helpful, and responded quickly to our requests. The breakfast was quite good and included some menu items we did not expect. The breakfast staff was very efficient and helpful. We had a great experience!

The hotel was under a bit of upgrading construction but still very nice. The lobby and staff were great. The complimentary breakfast was full of great choices, including a waffle bar. One of our rooms had a jet tub, which my daughter loved. The other room had an ant problem. The pool was a little too cold and not natural hot springs water, which is why we love going to Calistoga. However, once it gets really hot up there, the cold pool will be nice. Also, the sauna and steam room were not working, but if they were it would've been a nice treat! Over all we would stay here again once the construction is complete.

This place was amazing. Very accommodating, friendly, kind staff. Beautiful pool area- has a nice sauna, steam room, and a hot tub, it's definitely a more upscale best western. Breakfast was delish and the breakfast area is very nice and enjoyable to dine at. All other guests we encountered were very friendly. A friendly town overall, we enjoyed our stay very much!!

Our stay at your hotel was great. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Your offered more than fresh waffles with different hot egg dishes to eat each day. Your staff was great and very helpful. The last day we used the free shuttle and it was a great deal. Not only free, but the drivers were on time and made us feel welcome. What a great way to get around town! Loved Calistoga. The room was great and the hotel staff is super friendly. The only reason I have my stay a lesser review is that they are doing some construction which looks good, but the contractors started at 8am on the dot. For this tired traveler it was a little early.The room felt very clean and the beds were nice and the breakfast and morning staff were great. The wineries run on bankers hours and I wish I could have as well.

We checked in at 4:30 pm after a long day of driving. Check in was quick and easy and the desk clerk was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Our room was on the second floor (thankfully they do have an elevator) overlooking the pool. The room had a king bed with night stands, TV, fireplace, desk with chair, dresser, small couch with coffee table, one upholstered chair, a nice size closet, two luggage racks, sink, microwave, small fridge and coffeemaker. They really need a floor lamp near the chair for a reading area. The bathroom was roomy with dual sinks and adequate counter space, a combo tub and shower and a nice quiet evacuation fan. It's well situated in Calistoga, within walking distance from the downtown area. The pool is very nice and has an adjacent hot spa. They also feature a fitness center with four machines and free weights. Their complimentary breakfast is very good and the lady in charge features a different main dish each day. Depending on the room, you do get some traffic noise from Lincoln Avenue but nothing that really bothered us

This hotel should be rated higher than a two star hotel. Service was friendly and fast, the rooms were larger than expected, clean, well appointed and well kept up. There is a nice central court with the sound of falling water, a gym, pool, and the breakfast was nicely done for this level of hotel. I will stay there again when I travel back to Calistoga.

We have stayed at this Best Western Stevenson Manor several times over the years and have always had a good experience. This is really what would have been called a "motor inn" originally, but it has always been impeccably maintained and had courteous, helpful staff. Recently they are undergoing a remodel most of which appears to be complete. Their lobby and breakfast area has been updated and is beautiful and modern. The guest rooms have undergone remodel and upgrade with tile floors and and upgraded bathroom fixtures. They have a lovely little courtyard area with a fountain that is very inviting. This property is a very good value for Calistoga. We will definitely be back.

From the minute I drove up quality was noticible. Very beautiful and quaint property. The room was nicely decorated and was as clean as it could be. The staff was well dressed and very helpful. I did not have the breakfast, but it must have been good, as the dining area was packed out
