This store is a disaster!! The shelves are an unorganized mess, the floors are filled with pallets of unpacked stock, and the shelves are not stocked. They need to hire some help.

FYI: Double check your receipt. I mention to cashier that they double charged me on a grocery item, they said they corrected it. I got home, checked my receipt, it wasn't corrected. Some items are priced wrong. Most popular items rarely in stock. I can't afford the gas to drive there. Cheaper and much easier going to Wal-Mart.

If it weren't for this store, the desert would of consumed me!!! the staff has always been courteous, helpful, and professional with a touch of class. It's a breath of fresh air, cause I don't know if you've noticed it not... but there sure is allot of nepotism in Imperial county. (Incase you don't know what that means, it means allot of lazy, entitled, bad attitudes, doing less than the least, that a job requires.) I've never had a problem with getting the things I needed, their inventory has more than basic needs covered for variety, and availablity. Oh and you can't whoop the prices with a stick! I'm so grateful for this Dollar General, that if it needed a kidney, I'd give it one of mine. if you've never shopped at this little gem of a store, well I say, don't you think it's time that you did? Great employees at this location. Well stocked and pretty clean. At times the ailes are blocked while stocking during open hours but when retail space is at a premium you just have to understand! I have never had a long wait for the checkout either. The cashiers are well trained and always friendly!

*Update Nov. 19, 2020* we still shop here whenever we're in town. The people that work here are the absolute best. They all deserve raises in my opinion. They are kind and helpful. We wouldn't go anywhere else!We shop here whenever we are at the Salton Sea birdwatching. The people at this store are wonderful.

Store is a disaster. There was a long line and only one worker at checkout and instead of being fast and efficient she was having whole conversations with customers. Customers were even starting to put items back and leaving the store. So unprofessional.

I love this Dollar General!! It has friendly people that are helpful. A great place to shop when one doesn't want to to take a long time. Quick and easy. Employees even took the ice to the car for me.

Great food with coupons accepted after expiration, and 10 percent Senior discount if you ask for it. Taco nights on both Tuesday and Thursday nights. Excellent value. Parking spaces are a little narrow, with limited visibility when backing out.

, This is a nice store with a large selection of items that are convenient for the location rather than driving all the way into El centro you can find most of what you need here they have home goods pillows sheets they have food milk eggs and other stationery items. Check it out if you don't want to drive all the way and tell centro. And also don't go to May's if you are trying to get some simple groceries because Dollar General has a way better price and a way better selection

I don't hate it it's just not conducive to an enjoyable shopping experience. The worker gets a 5, nice as can be and helpful but the store is so cluttered and unclean so hard to find what your looking for.

A gallon of milk is now $4.00, more then premium gasoline or diesel, Just a few short months, ago milk was being dumped out on the ground; Six months ago milk was just over $3.05 inflation is on it's marry way, happy new year, hold on tight! The fun is about to start****

Would be 5, but I couldn't buy beer without ID... I go to bars and clubs and never get carded, I'm BALD AND WHITE HAIRED FOR PETE'S SAKE, not to mention, have been legally drinking longer than the clerk has been alive... No common sense, no 5 star.

Great place a welcomed godsend. It has many needed items (nonperishable food items, some freezer & refrigerated items, clothing, household items, paper products, diapers, sodas, cleaning items/house & personal, many more items). Open 9am-10pm.

Dollar General, in Calipatria, Calif.,has the best prices on merchandise in town. They also have the best selection of items available in this small town. D.G. is a combination of a "dollar" store, and a general store. Being one of the newest stores ,it's always pleasent to shop at Dollar General.

Dollar General is a great place in our small little town because it has a little bit of everything it's kind of our many Walmart and the prices are very cool and they even have one eyewear it's only $1

This store is an older store. Lots of glass wear. Quite dusty and dirty in those areas. Busy store and nice employees.

Dim lighting inside, aisles crowded with mdse. Selection of goods was poor. Prices did not match name of store! Even a cheap loaf of bread was $1.50.
