I absolutely love this store! All the staff is incredibly helpful and it’s spotless. Came in to grab a few groceries. Meat and fried chicken is in the back of the store and they have a huge sushi display in the front of the store, right when you walk-in. Grabbed a bunch of sushi for a party. Quick and easy, didn’t have to wait.

I just came to see if they had sushi which they did and it was right by the front door. So great grabbed two rolls. One roll tasted like the fish is from yesterday. A little fishy. The la confidential roll was supposed to have cream cheese which it did not and the thing said avocado but the avocado that was in the raw was so microscopic it was almost like a joke. The shrimp was less than the tempura that surrounded it in and you can barely taste it and it was spongy. And I’m sorry I have to judge the whole store on the Sushi department but that’s the only part I went to. Not super happy that I paid $13.99 plus tax for a roll that is not what it advertised on the label. But I don’t care enough to go back in. The rice on the sushi was soft. (Good soft like perfect texture) so it’s kinda on me also that I didn’t give them a chance to make it right. But why can’t it just BE right… can a girl just have a good grocery store Sushi😂

I shop here occasionally and definitely like the meat and produce here at Staters.compared to other stores. Just wish they would work on their customer service skills. Almost every time I'm checking out the cashier and bagger are carrying on a.conversation between themselves about their schedule, what time they're going on break, or what they did the previous day. Honestly I don't care to hear all the details.

Okay I give a 3 star because some employees have a hard time listening 🎶. I told the bagger I only wanted one bag. I got 3 half gallons of milk and some fruit. He then proceeded to grab two bags I told him again only one bag. The bagger said "oh this is so the fruit doesn't get crushed" I said it's fine and he still put it into two separate bags. If I wanted two I would ask for it. As you can see in the picture everything fits fine. I don't know why some of these employees think they know better. I have done this many times and as you can see in the picture everything fit fine in one bag. Yes it's these little things that do matter especially when your paying for the bags.

I enjoy buying my groceries and other merchandise at a Stater Bros market, I've been going to Stater Bros markets for many years I enjoy everything the sell, I like good produce, meats, dairy and other stuff too.

1 star because the employees were very politeHORRIBLEHORRIBLEI was very excited to shop at this very nice StatersI was patient as I understood that it’s a holiday weekend and they were busy. However, after 45 minutes in the store, waiting in line and then noticing that I had been charged full price for everything.The cashier held up the long line oc customers. She did not add correctly and wanted money from me! They owed me around $12. I asked her for a manager and was told the manager had left for the day. The employees were polite but I ended up having to wait, return all the items. Took over 20 minutes. It was ridiculous.Oh and a few days prior the items were not marked down and the creamer had leaked from a hole in the bottom all over. I understand buyer beware, beware of the items as they scan them.Looks nice but they don’t always honor the sales, pay attention and are incompetent.

News flash Stater Brothers, Hispanic people are also people and deserve respect.Came here to get some water, and never again, Cashier was rude and spoke to me with a very condescending tone,Sad that your employees showed their bios behavior to Hispanic people.I was overcharged but didn't want my children's to see such horrible behavior.Do better...!!!!

Stocked, clean & courteous staff.Stater Bros is pretty standard no matter the location. Usually the lines move quickly. Facility is well stocked and cleanUPDATE..I swear no matter how often staff changes..they are polite, professional and assistive

The employees Gave us different treatment then white people for sure. As soon as you go in your could feel the stares from them and when we were paying the cashier was being rude to us but not to the people in front of us . I wont be coming again.

We absolutely love love love this store! The customer service in every department is amazing. Everyone is so kind and helpful. The store is spotless and the setup of the store is perfect. I do want to give a special shoutout to Maverick. He has helped me a few times with my bags and is always so sweet. Recently he brought my online order out to me and wouldn’t even except a tip! I embarrassed him the other day in store I think by telling him just how good he is… sorry Maverick.Honestly… you are an amazing store and a great team!

Customer service is a joke , I too work at a grocery store (not stater brothers) so I know sometimes customers can be rude , had an employee help my grandmother with her groceries and I went to tip an employee and they just snatched the money out of my hand before I even said anything employees don't even acknowledge you except to ask if you want bags , they're happy to talk to other employees tho. tried talking and just asking how they're say has Been, you know small talk?. Not a single word but are glad to take your money , said thank you to the bagger and nothing but a blank face looking me dead in the eyes. Couldn't imagine running a store full of people under the age of 21 disrespectful lost my family's business for sure I'll just drive to yucaipa from now on

This was my first visit to Calimesa Stater Brothers and I was impressed. The staff greeted you at the door and that greeting was the beginning of an amazing shopping experience period! I was traveling on the 10 fwy and needed to make a pit stop. I wound up spending over a $100 on fresh deli treats, Zoom-zoom & wham-whams. But the most amazing experience was the check-out. There was practically no waiting in line because the floor manager was visibly on site. To top it off, I just happened to get in hisvline at his register, because all the other cashier lines were full. He personally asked me was I okay. I said yes. Then he replied, "he wanted to make sure, because he noticed a driver in the parking lot driving aggressively near my walking path and he could tell I had to dodge the driver to avoid getting hit". You never know when there's an "Angels unaware". I tell you what, I slowed down my day and sat in my car a minute to count my blessings. A FREAKING AMAZING Stater bro shopping experience.

NO CHICKEN FOR YOU! I never thought about leaving a bad review for a Super Market, but the experience I just received was mind numbing. I was walking past the deli, saw two boxes of fried chicken behind the glass (WITH PRICE TAGS ON THEM) & decided that I wanted to buy them. After waiting a while, a lady walked up, I asked for the two boxes, and she said they had to make more chicken??? I told her I wanted the two already boxed, and she said, "Those aren't all white meat." What does that even matter?? I asked for them again and she said "they aren't right" I gave up and just walked away only to look back a bit later and see others purchasing the exact same chicken I was not allowed to buy... What did I say that didn't allow me to buy that chicken???

I generally like this store. Have had good experience with mature staff. The younger cashiers & baggers don't have good people skills. The last 2 visits the younger employees seem to lack focus and politeness. Hopefully with time they will learn.

What is up with this misting their meat all that does is way down so you get a lot less meat for the price they put more water on your meat than they do their fruit and vegetables this is one con that people don't know about.To add to it these people are in the most idiotic stupid cashiers in the whole world people with Down Syndrome can't do better than them.
