I can’t believe how expensive everything is compared to other dollar stores. A bag of ice is $6.35 to for example, which is three times smaller and twice as expensive as Sam’s Club. Basically its like Target prices, branded as a “bargain” store. First time here and last. No offense to owner or employees but the high prices are quite shocking.

Clean and neat store!!.. manager is very nice, and very helpful. Highly recommended for everyone to stop by and do a little shopping.

I've shopped there, I've picked up doordash there and I performed a recall from there. I wear a lot of hats.. everyone I've talked to there has been really nice. Except one. I had the displeasure of dealing with store manager Sarah three times. She was at lunch when I arrived, said I would come back. Hour later (they told me she had been gone 30 min when I left) I go back and they tell me she's at lunch. I ask how long is a store managers lunch, I've been back three times and I need to wrap this up today. Turns out she had been in her car watching videos. She comes in all annoyed, looks me up and down and says, "Hello.. we don't have any." Could've told me that on the phone yesterday and it wouldn't have cost your company an extra $40 for me to come back three times.Not my problem. I can see the problem. You can't run a store in your car glued to your cellphone. That's why there are carts of merchandise clogging the isles, your backroom is a mess and no one there respects you.

Placed a online order with this store I did receive an email confirmation but never received notification it was being worked on so it would be ready by specified time. So I called the store. The phone rang atleast 20 times before anyone answered. I told her i just wanted to make sure My order was received as the week prior i waited all day to hear anything and it just got canceled at the end of the night. She said okay I don't have the order thing me go get it I waited on hold for 33 minutes before hanging up. So as frustrated as I was I called customer service. She confirmed I was charged but then asked what I wanted her to do I told her I want to know if my order is actually there and ready to pick up. So she called the store for me and they told her they would get it ready. Long story short this is beyond terrible customer service. As a manager of a retail location I couldn't imagine. And not only that my husband went to pick up the order couldn't find anyone finally did and he said he didn't even know they did online orders. This is a little ridiculous. I know it's hard to find help and stores are understaffed because I have gone through it at My own job but atleast train the employees you do have.

I don’t know what happened to this store. It use to be a nice little store to shop at in the small town of Calimesa. But now it’s so crowded with boxes to be stocked on shelves and racks in the way, you can barely walk down any isle. The food they sell is mostly all expired except for he milk and bread. The bathrooms are all locked up now and the parking lot is filthy. Also usually long lines. I won’t be going back there any more.

I had never been to this store before. They have a huge selection with decent prices. Found what I was looking for plus a little extra. I will be back. The employees were friendly also

Cant beat the prices. Would have given 5 stars but they need to be proactive about getting servicing the lines first. They will have 5 people stocking shelves and 1 cashier with 10 people in line.

Stopped in to get a soda before meeting my friend in Yucaipa I asked to use the restroom and was kindly told where it was and I think this is a great act of charity as most places are refusing to let you use their facilities... Thank you Dollar General it was my first stop after traveling an hour on the highway.

Was surprised to love Dollar General. But I hesitate to tell... I kinda like shopping there 'cause it's still a secret. Good prices. Never out of TP. Great place to pick up a few things when you don't have time to wait in lines at the grocery store. Sometimes I find a real treasure. Today toys were BOGO 75% off! I put two toys in "The Box" for the fire dept. toy drive. Full heart + money left in my pocket. Can't really beat that!

People who work there act like me being the customer us an effort to talk. Cashier never looked up. Just threw my stuff in bag. Never folded clothes I bought. I don't like Walmart

Terrible customer service!! These people do not know how to treat their customers. They are not knowledgeable at all about their products and what's in stock and are rude and act inconvenienced by even being asked. This has been my experience more than a few times here. I even met the store manager who's name I think is Richard and he's the rudest one. All I wanted to do is share my experience with him so that maybe he can train his employees to have more respect and he wouldn't even shake my hand! I guess that's where it comes from. He should be setting higher standards for his employees. I wish I could give this store a negative star.

I really like the store but the employees seem miserable you can walk pass two to three employees and never be acknowledged. I always leave asking myself if it's against policy for them to say hi??
