my first time in Tropicana I was a little overwhelmed at the prices. The narrowness of the aisles of the store, then I was surprised to find products from smart and final on the shelf.....

I give these guys 5 stars only because they always have fresh produce and the store is very clean. Their prices are a bit steep. Seems like everything starts at 4.99 lol. Cool store though no doubt!

Great place for Cal City. We need more business like this. The reason stores don't last here is because people complain about everything. Great job Tropicana, thanks for being In our small town and saving is some gas money for food and groceries.

Have a good variety of produce and food items that are lacking in Cal City. Sometimes they have good sales. Generally the prices are pretty high. The employees are very helpful.

I enjoy this store 🏬 and there are some great items here. I found a huge sweet potato 🍠 and was thrilled! There were good prices and a pretty good variety items. To be in such a small area I was quite surprised to find this lil gem 💎.

Everything is super stocked and produce was very fresh. They also have a lot of quality brands, not just the dollar-store types. I hope this place can keep it up!

Good little market. It is what we needed here in California City. Plus the store has hired our locals. Which is very good. Some of these people have not been able to work in a year or more. So it's wonderful. Keep the jobs coming. Thank you.

I dropped in to see this grocery store for the first time yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. The store is super clean and I was greeted by every employee there as I walked in and around the store. Their prices are good and they have great looking produce with a not so shabby meat counter. I must say, I was impressed. Thank you to all the employees there for having such great customer service!

Love their selection, butcher meat counter, veggies always clean and fresh, well stocked, excellent service, prepared slow cooked bbq rack of ribs by owner and dad is to die for, friendly, efficient, CLEAN prices can be kinda high but not on everything small town grocer prices can get bulk discounts

Small but well stocked local market. Always the friendliest employees! I've never had a problem finding at least one option of what I've needed. And since it's local, the other customers are always patient if there are lines, etc. If someone needs help or a little extra time, it's really available from employees or another shopper. Love this place!

This is the go to place for fresh vegetables and meat in California City. They actually have a butcher shop and the cashiers are friendly. Their prices are higher than Walmart's but I will accept that on days when I don't want to take the drive. This is a good local business.

I just love this store. It has so many things that our other few grocery stores, don't have. To think I used to have to drive 45 mins out of my way for certain things, but not anymore. Great little all-in one grocery store.

A wide selection of products. Very clean and organized! If you can't find it at DG or Family Dollar, you should be able to find it here. Downside: prices are slightly marked higher, but they are affordable.Quick question... Why is it so cold in the store? Having AC on constantly requires alot of electricity.

Love this store!! They are really sweet people, helpful and they even have a butcher, where you can buy fresh meat! It's been dollar general and family dollar. Where the hamburger comes in tubes and doesn't even resemble hamburger....I am so happy we have Tropicana!!

Super friendly staff. I accidentally used an inactive credit card and was declined. Could have been a total panic attack but the cashier was super nice and mellow. Great deli counter too!

Small but you'll find what you need, the meat counter with a real butcher. Lots of fruit and veggies, always fresh. Love this place.

This store is great.I'm glad they opened up. Great meat selection and fresh produce. Having this store in town keeps me from driving to Stater Brothers in Mojave. They also carry ethnic foods too.

The cashier didn't bag my garlic bag which was almost 4$. When I called to speak with a manager, she hung up. I called again and asked for corporate office number and she hung up again. Been a customer from the beginning and they treated me bad. I want to return all my groceries. SO UNHAPPY WITH THE SERVICE

Their produce is really fresh, they have a great Hispanic food selection. However, everything is EXTREMELY overpriced and the overall selection really lacks. Great to go if you just need some fresh produce and groceries to last you a few days, in no way recommended for full shopping trip. What would have cost me $100-$150 at Walmart costed me over $300 here.

I love this place they have almost everything, especially the produce (fish, shrimp, chicken, beef, etc), veggies, and fruits. I don’t have to go to staters and Lancaster often anymore. And the staff are very nice.

The best place to buy meat. The staff is always super helpful. Store is super clean, and pricing is decent. They have great specials, so keep an eye on those. Great store in the middle of nowhere.
