The employees are always SUPER rude and entitled. You can tell NONE of them know about customer service and do not care about your pharmaceutical needs. Don’t even think about calling because they will leave you on hold for 20 minutes. The drive thru is not worth it, you will be there for 45 mins - 1 hr. Worst rite aid in the valley.

Inefficient, confusing lines , little to no help. They always say “I just got here idk what’s going on” or something similar to justify they’re lack of skill. Worst part is when they ask you for documentation only for them to not ask for it after you go home and get it. It’s like they care when they feel like it and then they just get over it. The pharmacist is actually really good, I feel bad for the poor quality help she’s getting but that’s to be expected from this town.Update: dropped off my prescription papers at 4pm on Saturday and it wasn't ready until 11 pm Sunday. So much for a 90 minute wait. Unbelievable.

Called in 3 medications for refill over the phone to the Rite Aid pharmacy and was told by the computer that all 3 would be ready for pickup after 11 am the next day. When I arrived at the drive through for the pharmacy of the Rite Aid in Calexico I was told they could only fill one of the prescriptions and it would take them an hour to do it. Why did the computer tell me all 3 were confirmed as refillable if they weren’t and why did the computer say all 3 would be ready when they weren’t ready? Why does the pharmacy computer tell you one thing but the pharmacy employees tell you something else? Rite Aid pharmacy is the worst in Calexico but it’s the only one close to where I live and I am a disabled Vietnam war Navy veteran and I have difficulty getting around. Avoid this pharmacy if you can - they are rude and incompetent and their work doesn’t align with what their computer tells you which causes you to waste your time and gas on multiple visits for one prescription refill.

In general we lack of good pharmacies in the Valley, in Calexico, Rite Aid is one of the best ones, the store is pretty clean and well organized. But I have a complaint in the Pharmacy area, and is that you always have to wait a long time for the medication, so it make me think that maybe the pharmacists are not enough or maybe they aren't good enough doing their work; most of the time takes about 40 to 50 minutes to get your prescription, plus 10 or 15 minutes wait on the line... same thing on the Drive Thru and if you call to ask something in regards your prescription, they never answer. Please, do something, the people deserve better services.

Excellent Corporate PR Liaison to assist in customer service issues; in-store or pharmacy.Beware of more than half the pharmacy staff quitting every month or so.They rarely ever answer the phone or fill your prescriptions unless you tell them in person and wait.Sometimes, you have to come back several times to get it done.If you ask for delivery, make sure to note when they say that it will be delivered.As soon as you get the delivery, check the contents in the bag.Three times, I have had bags with my name on it but that had someone else's prescription bottles inside of the bag.Other times, they would say that I didn't have a prescription for something and let it expire.Or, they would just not continue to fill it even though I asked them to, repeatedly.Corporate got involved several times to help me out.It only helped once each time.Beware, if you depend on medication to stay healthy.

I give the Rite Aid pharmacy in Calexico, Ca. Zero Stars. They never answer their phone and are semi- rude. And I’m still waiting for my meds. Corporate please do something. I’m done going here. I’ll take my prescriptions to Walgreens. I need to put a star to post. People of Calexico stop going to Rite Aid. P.S. The ice cream cone is not worth it anymore.

The store manager here, Jerry, is one of the most professional and nicest managers at any major chain store, I have ever met. Rite Aid is lucky to have him. Go in and check out how he runs a great store. His employees are pretty awesome too.

Waited an hour in order for my son to be considered a walk in, waited till 2:00 pm and they said that they didn’t have any Pfizer vaccines for children. I spoke to a pharmacist beforehand and they said they did have Pfizer vaccines for children. By far the worst customer service at a Rite Aid.

I scheduled a Covid19 test, trough a Project baseline website, and was send to the Drive thru, an employee inside the pharmacy told to go to the drive thru, after 30 minutes of waiting the person at the drive thru rejected me, saying I had to be in a car, I dont own a car, and was told I had to go to the drive thru to minimize contact, once I told the person at the drive thru speaker that I didnt have a car she said "you can call a taxi" how is that "minimizing contact"? Horrible experience for a test I couldnt get.

Always a great service here, If people are complaining, then go to another pharmacy or store to your liking, you don't have to come here, Rite Aid has always been a great place to pick up my medicines quick, i always call an HOUR before I go and when i'm there they have everything ready for me, definitely a great store, I don't know what people are complaining about. I don't know how the front end is, but the Pharmacy is the place to go!

The pharmacist refused to fill a prescription even when she spoke to the doctor directly. Even Walmart had no issues filling the prescription. It is the same Asian pharmacist that I have had issues with in the past. She has a very poor attitude. I am never going back to this rite aid.

The pharmacists, every one I have met, at Rite Aid Pharmacy in Calexico has been extremely incompetent. It is scary really that these are the people who fill my Rx drugs. The incompetence of Rite Aid staff is really staggering. There is always a long line at the pharmacy at rite aid that does not move. I have determined that if there are 3 people or more in line ahead of me then I should expect a 2 hour wait. How can they possibly be so slow? I could not work that slowly if I tried. In other words, the only way to get your rite aid Rx may be to transfer to another pharmacy, which I had to do eventually after a week had passed and they still could not fill my Rx of ibuprofen. How does the agency who oversees pharmacies allow rite aid to continue to run a pharmacy? Someone is going to get hurt if they keep screwing up people's medicines. Idiots at Rite Aid Pharmacy! How do these people even get through pharmacy school?

Pharmacy lacks common courtesy. Staff there don’t acknowledge customers, they seem in a bad mood at all times & never but I mean NEVER answer the phone. I understand everyone is busy, might not be a good day for them & everyone has things happening in their own lives but that’s what days off are for & if you’re short staffed and are this busy do the local economy a favor and hire more pharmacists!!!

worst pharmacy ever!!! its been like this for years !!! medication is never ready even tho they get sent directly from the hospital or clinic they never seem to get the medicine ppl need on time .. its like they want ppl to wait just because .. worst pharmacy ever !!! its a joke ! n not a funny one .. aside from that i do like the general store the employees are always nice (not the pharmacy ones)

I use Western Union Service inside Rite Aid; the employees don’t help you at all if you need any, I hope there is not a big problem when my relative pick up the money tomorrow Monday. Attitude of the employees is you are on your own.

I have picked up medication here before and then when I come to pick up medication they want me to stand in line to re-Give my insurance info. Already stood in line for almost 30 minutes with only 3 people ahead of me. So you mean to tell me that it takes 10 minutes a person to just pick up medication. This place sucks.

Worst Rite Pharmacy my sons medication should of been ready they don’t answer the phone ever, I come my sons medication is not ready, I wait in like for 40 minutes and still make me go to drop off line cause the lady that ordered the medication did not put in the order HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Horrible pharmacy watch out !!! They dont care about the senior customers they serve they are lazy except for tge actual pharmacist, well most, staff there are incompetent and no customer service skill set and no sense of urgency its SAD I HAVE complaint to management that dont seem to care either. Too bad calexico . I have to come from L.A. to get my aunts meds, refills they dont auto deliver important can miss a dose meds and they dont care peoples health at risk without care and attention to meds needed

Really good people, pharmacy was fast and didn't have a single problem, very organized and cleaned, and the staff was lovely. Has to be the best Rite Aid in the valley.

I need some medication and they tell me by certain time it will be ready ....i go and its not ready .....i went the next morning i need to wait another hour .....seriously the person neeeds his medication.....the reason why i stay here is because late hour service thats all...
