We ate at the dining area, tables & chairs were unclean, the booths seats and chairs had "bird droppings", yes, bird poop. Though the eating is indoor, there is an artificial tree that likely attracts real birds from the outside. Ended up taking our plates to go.Waited in line 20 minutes for assistance, there were 7 persons in front of me, shame on Cardenas mngmnt for not having the needed staff.

I come to Cardenas frequently and the food is really good. Whoever the manager is should accommodate for lunch rush times during weekdays. I’ve waited over 30min to get my food because the kitchen is understaffed during rush times. Staff works as hard as they can but it’s hard to keep a line of a dozen people going with just 2-3 staff. In the time I’ve wrote this review I’ve been in line for 15 min and I still have 5 people ahead of me. This can be a burden on people who come in on short time during their lunch break. Other than that, food is great and staff is nice.

There's one order I always get on the uber eats app from cocinas and they piss me off when there or Asadero Neighborhood don't have what I'm trying to get because I'm robbed money and the food that I try to order is the only type of food I can have when I'm congested that's best for me caldo de pollo. I will call 9-1-1 if I don't get better because of not eating right to heal with whatever sickness I've been cursed with. If this happens one more time where I have to cancel my order altogether on a Monday I believe, I'm filing a report to the police department that I'm being taken advantage of if my bank statements basically state's that I wasn't refunded.

Cárdenas Market never disappoints. It's my go-to place for fresh tortillas, pre-made tamale dough and fresh pork rinds and their ceviche (seafood cocktail) is great.

Need to have more cashier and fast service. The self check out is not enough. Put more in person cashier. The problem is since they open the first Cardenas in Imperial Valley

Not all good they have few cash registers open. Bathrooms have been dirty since I've been there twice, with no sanitizer sheets ever! And toilet paper and paper towels are continually over flowing from trash cans Other than that food is good. As a customer I requested for a tongue taco, on the grill , I was told they do not do that. Well, I've been to other Cardenas and they do it kindly with no issue. The lady had a bit of an issue when i did request my order the way i would have liked to recieve it This is not a customer satisfaction at all. Retrain your employees. I'm posting a picture of my meal Taco Tuesday $1 order carnitas tacos ( too dry). Very disorgsnized at the condiment area. Tables were dirty.

I stopped by, looking for some chores, while I was there, I found out that they sell homemade fresh shrimp, fish, Cocktails I decided to buy it, I can say they're way to delicious, and very well served. I also bought mexican water Jamaican it was delicious too.

Definitely better than every other spot i have been to to try tamales and definitely good and I'll be going back for more later, also the tacos de carnitas was yummy and not salty at all and the drinks are refreshing. Everything else comes and goes with a restaurant inside a store witch is a cool idea if you ask me also the freshly handmade tortillas that you can buy and take home and enjoy. Definitely two thumbs up for this spot

Came here to have lunch. I ordered the carne asada burrito. Very disappointed 😞 is like I ordered a vegetarian burrito. The big burrito had a lot of beans and rice with so little meat in the burrito. That is a ripped off.

Grocery store is magnificent. All the way from their hot bar to the fish, meat, produce, and desserts. I'm blown away every time I go into this store. I wish there was one in my community back east. If that were the case I would have no worries.

Due to getting some stinky meat .I usually stay away from the carniceria. We love the tortillas, Most employees are very courteous, their express lane doesn't enforce the 10 item limit, so what's the point.and most of all that obnoxious loud music always blasting your senses.

Always clean and stocked as well as any store can be. I personally like it because you can find a few things you can't find elsewhere like quail eggs, fresh oregano, and spices. Fresh lychee, rambutans, and drsgonfruit too, when they're in season. The spice section is always well stocked as well and they carry a number of items you can sometimes only find across the border. These items are a bit more expensive but then again, you're saving yourself a trip across the border.

Went to the deli to see there selection of carne's for burritos and they have great selection's. I will definitely return for their burritos but I also want to try their platos. Good prices too.

I visit here every time I'm in town (600 miles away). Tortillas de maiz are the MAIN reason for my visits. Their fresh cheese department is a great accompaniment to my corn tortillas.

Came here from Chico CA very nice clean place, Got some agua de horchata so gooood!Carnitas were ok!! The tortillas made there are good gonna go back and buy acouple bags to take back home!!
