$$$ as in Expensive. I don't know what happened to the store but recently it has changed a lot most of the advertisement you find that is either not in stock or it misrepresented for example the meat department 88 cents a pound for pork chops sirloin chops or roasts when you get there all they have is the Roast and right next to them pork chops at a dollar 99 a pound but they say it's not the value pack that's on sale even though it's a large package. I found that the other day now today on the same sale those $1.99 pork chops or 249 right next to the roast that are 88 cents a pound what has happened to management here what has happened to the meat department what has happened to the advertisement that they have and not in stock or very limited so don't be disappointed if you go shopping here and don't get what you want

Our family is fortunate enough to get to use our closest friends family cabin up in montgomery creek, and this Safeway is head and shoulders above the rest. From the first time i came here 11 years ago, this place had it all and more. The selection is unparalled, the prices are real good, and the meat and produce is uncommonly fresh and amazing. I look forward to shopping here when we get up to the cabin every time. Can't wait to get back in the spring!

Typical Safeway, everything you expect ans nothing you don't. No surprises, good or bad. Just what you want in a Safeway. The aisles are a little tighter than some newer Safeways, but not uncomfortably so.

Small Safeway in a small town up in Burney, CA. Burney's population has been hit hard in the economic downturn/pandemic. Sadly Burney doesn't have much going for it these days.

Closes at 11pm. If your needing a store to be open. They are so expensive. 3 bags you paid 80 bucks. Not enough for your money. They have bathrooms and clean. Meat selection is very limited. Deli wonderful. Every thing else expensive .

Slightly smaller than a standard Safeway, but it still has most of the regular things a Safeway had. Hot food wasn't as large of a selection then most. Prices seemed a little higher.

After traveling for days from my home in Texas. I was looking for a store that I could stock up some groceries and other items that I could bring to my new home. Missing my local Texas store H-E-B vibes, and wandering around for a minute. A worker came up to me and pointed out nicely that I looked a little lost and asked if I could use any help. The one thing I miss most about my home store was the employee customer relations. I rarely feel like the employees at some stores care about the people coming in. But I can tell you that this employee solidified my grocery store choice for the foreseeable future. After showing me what a Safeway actually is (I remind you that this is my first time in one). I told her it was my first trip to a Safeway, what I was looking for and if she could recommend some of her favorite options. She showed me some of her favorite items and I threw them in the basket. We talked a little bit of chit chat while she showed me around and I can genuinely say for a moment, it felt like I was back home when I was talking to her.So I would just like to give a big thank you to Bailey. Or as she told me she goes by "B". Great worker, and even better person!

I called Safeway to let them know the meat I bought there on 12/27/21 was rancid. Noticed the sell by date was past . Honestly didn’t notice when we bought it. So we came in to get a different rack of lamb. Dave went above and beyond to make things right. I have never had such amazing customer service at any other grocery store. Dave if you read this you rock! Thank you so much. We appreciate it more then you know.

Anyone who goes above and beyond deserves to be recognized. The man making sandwiches in the deli around 6:10 this evening made two superb sandwiches. Well done, sir. Best grocery store sandwiches my girlfriend and I have ever had and quite possibly ever will. High five (or elbows rather)!

Love this grocery store. Everyone is friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of everything. A little pricey but everything is high quality. I shop there quite often.

From out of town and relying on this store for most of my meals. I’ve had 3 so far and they all have been terrible in their own way. Just purchased a $16 bag of jerky. When I went to eat it miles and miles from the store, I realize it’s a moldy gross mess. Very disappointing. Now I will have to try and get a refund tomorrow.

This one, located in Burney (Burney Falls,), had fantastic prices and a good selection. You just don't find that in these small towns located in the Nor Cal area.

Pretty nice store, just a little small compared to what I'm used to. They don't stock everything my local Safeway does but still plenty to get by for camping. The cashiers were all really nice. Minus one star for super long lines at busy times of the day.

Phenomenal experience minus the more than half of customers not wearing masks. Pisses me off that people would go to a supermarket and not wear a mask. Other than that. This supermarket has a lot but not as much as the safeways like back home in the bay area. The trade off is cheaper prices in rural area. Would come back again. I wish the employees would enforce the mask or no service rule as mandatory.

Safeway was expensive. I paid 12.00 for 2 six packs of diet Pepsi. Never paid that in So Cal. & I do shop at Vons/Albertsons in SoCal.

Stayed at a local motel came here to get some breakfast for the next morning. Found what we needed. Super friendly talkative cashier named Cat. The thing that surprised me was I saw eight customers over the age of 50 without a mask on. No wonder California has problems with Covid.

Safeway is always a hit or miss depending on the location. Sometimes the employees are friendly sometimes rude. I do have say, they have always been well stocked and carry a variety of foods.
