Not a shelter, but a five star hotel for cats. Super clean, super organized, and super friendly staff.Allie helped us, she was super amazing and patient with us. She stayed with us even after closing time just to help us finish the paperwork. She went through every little detail with us, and for that we’re super grateful.The adoption fee is nothing honestly. The cats are neutered/spayed, vaccinated, with health checkups. If you’re a cat owner, you know how expensive these things are. Yet, it was only $120.Anyways, Harry found a new home with us and we gave him a new name, Lychee 😅

Walking into here for the first time was like going into an educational center. The staff was very informative and there were so many things to take in. The staff themselves were amazing too. I'm writing because we adopted a kitten from here almost a year ago now, and her birthday is coming up soon. She's been such a joy. It's so hard to take her seriously sometimes - she's like the embodiment of silliness. You can't help but laugh or smile. We're so thankful to have her and I'm so happy that I get to keep taking care of her and making sure she's loved and cared for. She's sleeping next to me right now. Thank you for helping bring her into our lives.

It's a nice and well-kept shelter. Each pet has their own space, blankets, cushioned arm chairs, and music piped into their kennels. Unfortunately, like other kennels, none have windows to look outside.

This place is a 5 stat hotel for Pera compared to San Jose humane society. Very clean and not over crowded. Staff is friendly also.

Workers are pretty friendly and nice. You can tell they do what they can for the animals, in my visit the workers cleaned pretty well the kennels /rooms for the animals. They provide papers you can personally take of the animals you may be considering to adopt or have taken an interest in, really trying to find all the animals homes, loved that.

Well, I'm biased because I adopted my cat from here. But only after becoming a cat socializing volunteer several years ago. The facility is very modern and still has a new feel. Three floors with three different types of domestic animal. Very clean and well cared for, as are the animals. A great place to socialize and adopt.

This place is so nice. It's definitely one of the best animal shelters in the Bay area. We got our newest kitten here, and the adoption process was easy, and the staff was really helpful. If you're looking to get a kitten, they update a phone message daily so you can know if they have kittens before you come.

Great service and really take care of the animals in the shelter, I adopted a 6 month old chinchilla for my wife as a surprise since we had one 6 years ago but we wanted to adopt, I definitely recomend this shelter to adopt or volunteer.

We were told we could do a meet and greet with a dog we liked in a email, when we got there they said we had to make a appointment for it and it wouldn't be for a couple days. Very disappointed

I loved how they had bios on each of the fur babies. They have a great process of putting the potential pet in a room with the potential owner to if there is a connection. We adopted Tootsie (whose original name was Mirabelle) and we couldn't be more happier.

This place is amazing. Very quiet and peaceful, the staff here is nice there's good parking and a variety of animals here. Just coming here and being around the animals is so peaceful . You can also apply to be in the cages with the pets too. Just look at this chiuawa! :D

Receptionists are very helpful and patient.. And I'm amazed by one of the receptionists.. As many tasks she deals with she took care of me and my two small Pomchi for their License Tag.. ( Sophia and Diamond) Thank You for the smiles 🙏

Amazing Costumer Service on the phone. She was extremely helpful and told me they don’t do dental cleaning there but told me to go to my private vet. Very different from the horrible service with UC Davis.

We enjoy our local SPCA. The volunteers are friendly and informative, doing an incredible job. However, they do seem short staffed? The system in place at this particular time makes it more difficult to adopt. After submitting an application, you must wait for a staff member to call you for an interview. We waited several weeks and never received a call. You cannot meet the animal in which you are interested unless an appointment has been scheduled by staff.We finally went up to SF SPCA where we were able to walk in, be interviewed and allowed to meet our future family member. They have the staff! It was a match made in heaven. We adopted and love her already!!!

I adopted my cat from them 4 years ago, and today with a heavy heart, took her back to them for re-adoption. She has developed some behavioral issues and I was honest about them so they would understand why I decided to give her up. Instead of understanding and compassion, I was told if I left her she would be immediately euthanized.Not only did I adopt her from them, I also have donated hundreds of dollars to support them. They didn’t even have alternative potential adoption options readily available and instead went online and gave me a post-it with 3 phone numbers. I expect much better from an organization that claims they are humane. They have a beautiful new facility, it’s a shame they forgot their mission.

The facility is new and the indoor dog play area is amazing, and they have a wide variety of pets to adopt. The animals are super happy, and the little info card provides a great blurb about the animals personality. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable too, and I would definitely recommend going here to look at all the adorable animals and fantasize about getting them.
