Lisa and another male staff were very kind and helpful. Comparing to big name store, this place has more selection for small pets owners. They have the ‘snack bar’ for rabbits and Guinea pigs. Also have other safe toys to offer. I will be coming back for sure!

This place is a landmark shop, ever since it was over on the Alameda (and probably even before then).After leaving downtown, they no longer have the space for rescue pets "of all shapes and sizes," but still host food and treats for all of your animal friends (including many different exotics).Hoping one day they can once again have all the extra space to host/enable easier pet rescues way beyond the typical cat and dog arenas.

Five Stars always!!!I always get the best prices for the best product. Everyone that works there is knowledgeable and super friendly! I love Baby the macaw.And during Covid, I rescued a litter of kittens. And was struggling to find bottles and formula. Andy’s handled my crying and stress wonderfully. And all five of the healthy kittens received lovely homes. Thanks to Andy‘s pet shop. 😻😻😻

Thank you so much for all the help. This shop is a must for animal lovers. You can honestly tell how much they care for the animals. Currently they have a couple of cats up for adoption if anyone is interested. They have amazing prices and if you have reptiles they have great feeding prices.

Amazing place. If you are looking for a convenient pet store, this is the best place. They have a lot of birds, reptiles and more. They have also an amazing variety of pet supplies. The store it's really big and also they have private parking for the customers. They do care about animals also have pet care. The prices are pretty fair. Check it out

I've been coming to Andy's for some years now and I've generally always had good experiences. Lisa and Adrian are always willing to help find the right items for my pets. I would like to note that when I mentioned the owner Lisa, to a man named Johnny, he implied that I was not really a regular because he had not seem me before. Thought that was strange, but I still give them 5 stars. Would recommend

My family loves Andy's Pet Shop. They know us and we know them. I shared these pictures of our guinea pigs, Zenon and Bartholomew, with the gentleman who helped me because he remembered their names from when we adopted Zenon after successfully matching Bartholomew with his very important help! He said that made his day and made mine in return. Also, they have the best value for oat hay for our boys!

Been a while since they moved to this location. Easier to get to but they aren't a shelter for rescues anymore. Friendly staff always willing to help. I go here for all my guinea pig needs especially hay

I got my chihuahua mix in 2011 when it was downtown. My dog is kind of a finicky eater and I finally got her to eat fresh pet in the rolls but every where else they are all sold out. A really nice Lady took my name and number and ordered some for me. She said they will call me on Thursday. Perfect because I just have enough food to last. They will let me order every week or month now so I will never run out and I don’t have to pay the high delivery fee I was paying. They are soNice at Andy’s she gave my dog a treat while we were talking

This is a great local pet shop to support instead of Petco and Pets Smart. When I got a hamster with my partner, this pet shop was recommended and since then we’ve been shopping for all of his needs there. They have great prices and a variety of different things. They have this specific hamster mix that our little Twix loves and they have more mixes for bunnies, mice, rats, and other little gerbils and rodents.They also have things for cats, dogs, and birds. Highly recommend.

It was a great shop, with helpful staff. All sorts of pets, except dogs. Which is what I was looking for. Their recommendation was to go to the animal shelter. Not helpful when you're looking for a specific breed that isn't at the shelters. However, their reptile section was fantastic.

I needed some mice for my pet Milksnake, so I stopped in today for the first time. They only have frozen mice, but that is okay. My snake usually eats them once they are thawed and warmed up. I purchased six fuzzies and they were packaged individually, which made it very easy and convenient. I have not seen that at any of the other pet stores I have visited. The lady, perhaps the owner, was very nice and helpful. Easy parking and I was in and out with nary a bother. I will be coming back next month for more. Thanks Andy's Pet Store!

I cannot more highly recommend this place if you are looking to adopt a cat. I had been feeling discouraged by the application processes at most shelters, involving filling out long forms or coordinating w foster sitters before you could even meet the cat. At Andy's, all pets are taken in from local shelters and you can play with them before making your choice. I hadn't planned on adopting a kitten, but when a 6 mo old cutie lept into my lap and tugged at my necklace, I knew he was going to be my cat. Getting that real-life interaction (instead of just scrolling through a website) was so valuable. The folks at Andy's and St. Francis (the shelter my cat was from) were so helpful and the process was seamless. From the day I met my cat to the day I brought him home, no more than 4 days passed. I'm so glad I went here. They also sell a variety of quality pet food and toys which my cat has loved.

Andy's pet shop has been sheltering unwanted animals: Birds, small mammals, reptiles, lizards, turtles, tarantulas and even fish for years. How can you help? First of all buy your pet supplies here. Secondly, please adopt don't shop. Big box pet stores make *billions* of dollars buy selling animals which are often abandoned or die due to improper care. If you researched a pet you want and your ready to commit then come here and adopt please!

Amazing service and are so nice,and they care for there animals and don’t kill there animals when they don’t sell and the owners are sooooo nice so I whould reanimated going to Andy’s pet shop for all of your supply’s for your new or old pets.you can also get your dogs or cat Vaccinations on Saturday’s. I volunteer there and the people like mr.johnson. Some of the pets are human held and all of them are very kind. But it PLEASE. PLEASE ask a volunteer or staff before you hold any pet. we will let u if u ask and help us through the tough time. We need all the money to bye food and water for the pets.

I love this place! I come all the time to get crickets for my leopard gecko. They help me almost immediately and the process is easy and smooth. They even put the crickets into my cricket keeper, so I don’t have to put them in there myself later. They’ve got a great selection on well, anything pets, and I love to look at the little animals they’ve got around the store. Checkout process is easy and simple and the staff is always very helpful and kind.
