Booked to stay and needed to change our route due to fires obstructing our journey. Gave them 10 days notice of wanting to cancel and there was absolutely zero flexibility on the extremely long return policy (30 days). Lots of things changed due to the weather which was entirely out of our control, with a young child we were not willing to take the risk, and there was zero compassion. They’ll just take your money. Only book if you’re absolutely sure you can go (we would have done had it not been for the unpredictable nature of fire season).

By any means we aren't staying anywhere local to Bridgeport, but our group was in desperate need of a handicap accessible shower for my wheel chair bound 16 year old niece. I called the resort and left a voicemail for information on the resorts public showers, and Misty called me back. Instead of a simple yes or no Misty berated me saying we were too far away from their location. It's not what she said but her tone in how she said it. I understand if your busy or if there are mix ups between your location and another but I think Misty needs some training in her customer service skills, especially over the phone. To her credit she did give me the dimensions of the shower after a second call-however the call disconnected after she provided that information. Not sure if I was hung up on or if there was something wrong with the connection. We have never stayed here but after that interaction with Misty over the phone, I know I never will, and I will never recommend this place, and be sure to share my experience with Misty with others.

We were able to drive over from the FS campground to use the wifi for free and dump our trailer tanks for a small charge. The people at the boat rental and store were nice and the store had a good selection of food and camping items.

Such a beautiful place to camp! I recently went here to camp with family and we had a great time here. The water was ice cold but it was a great way to cool off in this hot weather. This is definitely a great place to just unplug from everything In the city. Don't skip out on this place!

Very freindly staff. The owner gave me a free upgrade on my boat rental because it was slow during the week. We rv camped so can't speak about the cabins but they look great on the outside. Fall is a great time to go. Very beautiful. We were the only people swimming and paddle boarding but we are from the mountains. Looking forward to going back!

We stayed in a cabin in Upper Twin Lake. It was an awesome time as usual. I've been going there for over 40 years

Didn't stay at the hotel, rented a pontoon boat for half a day. The store carries quite a few things clean while kept up all the staff are very friendly and very helpful. Running about the process is pretty easy. My only complaint is the boat was a complete total mess that could take some time to just clean it up. Especially the hooks in the anchor line.

We had a great stay and already made reservations to go back! Pretty mountain views and the lake and boat rentals are right across the street. Grassy areas, playground, volleyball, and great RV sites. We were in the new pull through premium sites (#21) and will stay in this section next time. Deer and chipmunks roam all over the resort. Also be on alert at night as a bear did come through our site and tried his best to scratch his way into our BBQ! Sorry no pic of the bear!

I've been coming to Twin Lakes since I was a young girl. There is such a peacefulness at this tucked away mountain lake. The fishers I know love fishing in the Lower Lake. Though I don't fish, I find joy in taking one of the many hiking trails around the resort, sunning on a pontoon boat (they rent one!), and enjoying the beach with friends. Plus, if you enjoy photography, you'll have a field day here. I hesitate to speak too highly of Twin Lakes Resort and have all the good spots taken!

Awesome place to come visit and fish. Lots of amazing views and wildlife to come see. When I was here last we had a buck walking around close to people! Definitely interesting! Saw plenty of fish in and around the marina but there is no fishing into the marina. Lots of large fish caught in both upper and lower twin lakes.

Nice place, could be better. The staff running it are great with a couple of exceptions.1 - no proactive camp host for the RV section. That means no one to make sure camp fires are out and quiet hours are respected. It frustrates the he'll out of me that people come up here and think it's ok to raise he'll until after midnight. Yes, we did ask the offenders to quiet down without much luck. I had to go to the store to find out who would deal with this, which to their credit they did.2 - lack of communication to campers. We have had 2 power outages (not their fault), but I had to go find someone for info. And, we have had an on going water pressure problem and have had to run off of our water tank. After a few days of this I'm now almost empty, and once again I had to go to the store to find out what's going on.I'm not a complainer, but these annoyances make it seem like I am. All it would have taken was for someone to hop in a cart and let us know what's happening. I don't think that's too much to ask!

I am staying on one of the RV premium site's here at the resort and I am having the best time here. The resort is clean and well maintained the staff that I met this afternoon has been absolutely wonderful. The owner Misti was at the general store this afternoon interacting with other guests and she was just the most friendly and outgoing person ever. I highly recommend staying at this resort for the cabins that are well maintained and clean and also the RV park seems just well manicured and cared for. If you are ever in the area or need a getaway swing by the Twin Lakes Resort and stay awhile for the fishing or wildlife that strolls nearby, I surely will be recommending this lovely resort to others.

Well to begin with the camp sites aren't marked very well nor are the roads through the campground. I wouldn't advise coming here in the dark if you haven't been here before. Since CA is on fire AGAIN you can't have a campfire. However the 🐻( there are several) and 🦌, along with the other animals are cool to watch. The bears do try to stay away from people. It amazed me how quiet they are when they are so close. All in all it is ok. Come with plenty of daylight for your first couple of times. Plenty of fish (6lb'ers) in the lakes. Definitely do not leave any trash out at night! Have fun!!!
