I spend one night on the rooftop tent of our car, with my boyfriend and it was just perfect. The garden is straight so perfect for a tent. We had a lovely view on the lac, as we asked !The host is adorable. The laundromat is free (the dryer is only $1) and for us that was such an advantage, because we did not have a laundromat in our other campgrounds. The bathroom/restrooms are perfectly clean and accommodated with shampoo and everything. You can enjoy a firewood with the other campers if you like and you can wash you dishes and your dog there !! Isn’t that amazing?!We highly recommend this place. The name “paradise” fits perfectly. Thanks a lot 💘

THE PLACE IS VERY BEAUTIFUL AND HAS ALL THE SERVICES LIGHT WATER GAS THE BATHROOMS ARE VERY CLEAN WHEN WE ARRIVED WE HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE but when we left the maintenance man was very rude so we decided to leave a comment about how badly he treated us but Everything was resolved immediately, the manager and the other staff contacted us to resolve the problem. Fortunately, they made us feel that we were valuable to them and we hope to see each other again very soon. Blessings to them for their good service.

Customer service is outstanding! This is an older campground thats currently being updated. We were given a large area for our class A and jeep as most sites accommodate smaller campers.Even though it was only 30 amps we were able to adjust comfortably. The water view, clean bathrooms, laundry and lovely grounds made for a great stay.

My wife and I were at Paradise Shores over the fourth of July and found the RV park to be a great place to stay with our travel trailer. The park and restrooms were clean and tidy and the hosts were extremely friendly, hospitable and accommodating. The location is on the lake and close to Bridgeport. All in all we had a great time. Can't recommend it more highly.

Words of caution. We had a horrible experience with the new owners of Paradise Shores, the Pensnottis. While the campground is amazing and both the caretaker and on-site hosts are friendly and accommodating, I would caution anyone doing business with the property owner. The park owner's actions and what felt like lack of transparency (not providing the park rules and regulations as required by law) made us feel very uncomfortable about doing business with them or having them as our landlords. I guess we are lucky to have found out early exactly what kind of people they are. Super disappointing... and sad for the community. Beware.

This was a very nice, quiet, clean affordable, technologically place to camp. They accommodated us with a request for an end spot. The laundry room was clean also. The landscape had really neat cornucopia of plants and flowers. The common area even had a patch of grass that made a great spot to do yoga. The whole area is small white rock so not dusty. The couple downsides, the bugs and flies. The lake tested positive for alge and couldn't go in it at all. Last, I feel they keep weird office hours. There is a number you can call though if you have an issue.

My first time camping here and it was a blast, everyone was very polite, close to the hot springs which was amazing, therapeutic. And most importantly very clean and dog friendly. They also worked with our schedules after we had to make a last minute change a month prior. We will be definitely returning.

This is the most relaxed and well-provisioned camp/RV place I have stayed at in my life. The bathrooms had razors/q-tips/feminine products! Super clean and free kayaks & paddleboards, firewood and charcoal as well. I booked a tent site with a nice view and there was shade. Very close to hiking, hot springs, and lakes. Super dog friendly as well!

We are feeling happy about our booking at Paradise Shores Camp. This is our 3rd time here. We were asked to move sites once we already booked our stay and set up camp. (Mind we were a little early and I had 3 children with me at a 3 person site so I was already in the wrong.) The new owners were nice enough to come and speak with me after the mix up with the lady doing reservations. We were given a refund for one night and a stay in the Denali for 1 night. On a good note I would like to thank Amanda and Frankie for making the whole ordeal less stressful. The housekeepers do wonderful and the facilities are clean to the max and very well kept. I would highly recommend this location. They do suggest you double check on spot and group # before you actually book your stay. Again thank you to the new owner for being kind to our family.

The location of this camp is perfect, it had immaculate grounds and free access to kayaks and paddle boards. Laundry and the shared outdoor kitchen made it that much more convenient. We hit all the sites around the area and would highly recommend this place as a base camp. The reservoir is low but still beautiful. Just bring mosquito repellent!

Entrances very narrow, park not marked well. Yippee small dog all night long. No brakes switch to turn on/off power to plug/unplug. Spaces tight for sewer hook-up, right in other campers space when they are relaxing outside.Easy to book on line.

We found this gem on a trip from Reno to Mammoth Lakes. This is a very clean and very cute place on the edge of the reservoir. To the lady who helped us out after hours, thank you! It was so nice to have a friendly, helpful person to work with after a long day. We will definitely be back!

Stayed here this past weekend in the Adirondack RV. The RV was amazing! We’re normally tent people but decided to try it out and we were not disappointed. The interior decorations were cozy and fitting. The host were very friendly and the whole campsite is well taken care of. We visited Bodie, Masonic and Virginia Lakes, all of which the host leaves a detailed guidebook about in your RV. Only thing was the sink in the RV kitchen didn’t have a sponge or dish rag that we could find. But we had one so it was fine. Would love to come again!

Really cute place and probably the nicest bathrooms I've seen while camping. They have lots of options for camping or RVs as long as they're available. We stayed in our tent and the site was very nice. We were able to see the sunset from our site too. The bugs are ROUGH. They don't bite they just fly around all the time. Next morning we were going to go kayaking but the kayaks they have didn't have a cushion to sit on and were covered in bugs.

This was my first time camping so far away from home, thou 4.5 hrs away is not bad with what all you get to see on the way, you will not regret travelling. So I had booked this place way ahead, I think it was march because it gets taken really fast. So a week before the arrival, the hosts will send you a reminder of your site and all important information, I was curious about the water situation and how we are going to wash pots but they did tell us bout the common area which has sink and stuff and also we could always take our own water which we did. When we arrived, the check in was super simple. Once you enter, you will pass the bathroom and you will see a board with a office sign next to a blue and white RV. On the board you will see your name on a card with your site and code for bathroom written on it. So simple right. You basically head to your site and that's it, start enjoying. I did get site 4 and it was so amazing. To wake up to a view of water and mountains has always been a dream, which came true. This place so far has been the most cleanest sites I have been to. And lemme tell you one thing about the bathroom, it's just like the bathrooms at home. So neat clean and tidy. I loved how on Saturday there was a bonfire and everyone just sat and mingled. I think everyone who is looking for a new place to camp right now should definitely check out this place. I was so so sad on leaving, I swear I could have started crying. I was leaving a piece of my heart there. So there was a dog who used to visit me every now and then. Maybe I got attached to that munchkin. I wish this place was closer maybe I'd spend more time here, but ohh well...maybe next year now. I so so so miss this place. Hope to come back soon. Thanks to the hosts for being so amazing.

What's not to like. The staff and cleanliness are excellent. The views are fabulous and the rates are fair. They even provide razors and qtips in the men's room. Oh, they have kayaks and paddle boards for use and no charge for wifi (not like one of those big expensive national outfits that charge extra for everything - more on them later)

If you want a wonderful experience, stay at Paradise shores. The people there are fantastic, the accommodations are great. I stayed in the Adirondack trailer and it was super clean and very comfortable. Check out the Baja trailer on the website, when I walked past it and looked around the area, this one look like it had the best view of the unfortunately very low lake. Totally worth the stay. One thing to note is that AT&t does not get a signal here. I can't speak for other carriers but my phone didn't get reception until I was about a half mile north of Bridgeport

Paradise Shores camp is a fun place to be. It's not remote camping, it is car camping or in many cases RV camping. If possible, avoid Spot 1. Spot 1 is right next to the common area and can be quite noisy.Nearby, there's Bodie, Twin Lakes and Mono Lake to explore.Bodie unfortunately doesn't live up to the hype that has been granted to it. In reality, it's just a bunch of rotting buildings that are poorly taken care of and the town is insignificant to history. It's not like you are visiting Little Big Horn where something happened that history deems relevant. Bodie was just one of many towns that existed only because of gold mining. The artifacts there were unimpressive.Twin Lakes - great for fishing and other water sports.Mono Lake - beyond the 30 second picture of the calcium carbonate structures, it's not really worth spending more time there. To boot - it smells horrible, and most visitors leave in less than 10 minutes. It smells due to all the rotting organic materials exposed due to the water levels.Drought and the Bridgeport Reservoir, has brought water levels so low that the shoreline is easily 300 to 400 ft away from your camping area. If the drought continues, there might be no water left in the reservoir next year. No boats were there because it was so low. No one used a SUP or kayak because you really couldn't go anywhere.Spend a night or two looking at the stars at Paradise and hope the reservoir fills up this winter.

Loved this place so much! Friendly staff, beautiful spot right on the lake. SO dog friendly. So many sweet/charming touches. Loved the communal kitchen. Hot springs 10 minutes away and so nice to do by moonlight. We had a really nice time from our campground to Bodhi, and Mono Lake. Great location and lots to do nearby. I feel like I may need to return to get to everything that I had hoped to do. Thank you so much!

What a gem we found located at the base of the gorgeous Sierra Nevada Mountains. Quaint, beautiful, clean property ran by the sweetest family. Our accomodations were top notch and the outdoor fire pit was a fun way to end our day. Bodie is a short 30 minute drive and totally worth it. Also, Don't forget to stop at Jolly Cone in town for a cool treat after your day of exploring. Our family will most definetly be booking this spot annually.

Very clean. The bathrooms were super cute and very clean. There were many amenities offered and we had a lovely stay. We'll have to stay in one of the RVs you can rent next time, they looked ADORABLE
