Has just about everything you need for a good fishing trip. Rods reels bait and tackle along with a wide selection of flies. The guys are really knowledgeable about the local fishing report. Don’t be afraid to ask what’s biting and where. The prices are pretty reasonable. And if you forgot to bring beer they have that there too.

Great little store! Everything you need for fishing. I went in for a propane tank for my stove, explained the issue & got advice that it might be be the regulator. He had one there, I bought it and am making coffee in camp now! I also got suggestions on where to get a couple other things I’d forgotten to pack. Great customer service!

I also appreciate that the kind owners and staff let me perform country western music out front to entertain you in summer on Sundays while you check out the HUMONGOUS trout that are always being put into the chest freezer out front!

This is the BEST place to shop for fishing and hunting gear! The owner, Jim, is very friendly and gives great advice. He gave me tips and directions over the last 3 days on how to fish the area. I was highly successful and caught trout in the East Walker river restricted area where you can only use barbless hooks and no bait or scents. I also landed a couple of really nice 4 lb.+ trout out of Bridgeport Reservoir. THANKS JIM! If you go to Bridgeport, this is the place to shop and get information.

Got what we needed at this store. However, I do want to note the difference in the way my family was treated at the store compared to how the next customers were treated. The people who walked in after us were greeted warmly and offered helpful information about fishing. I, on the other hand, had to reach out and prompt the gentleman behind the counter to acknowledge us and provide us with what we needed. There were no other customers in the store before us. When I called for information the previous day, the person who answered was very helpful. I hate to fall back on the easy answer, but the most obvious reason is that my husband and daughter are brown. Ken's is the only game in town and I'd return if I absolutely had to, but I would prefer to spend my money elsewhere.

Have been coming here for years, but never again.Ken's sporting goods does not care about the welfare of its customers. This place is in open defiance of the state's mandated order for employees to wear a mask. If they don't care enough about their customers to protect them, then I as a customer will never support them. I will buy my supplies elsewhere , even if that means having to drive to the next town. If you need fishing supplies you can head over to the Bridgeport Marina and see Chase. They are only about a mile outside of town. They're pretty well stocked with fishing supplies and you can find all you'll need to fish the area. They wear mask and they are great people.Remember, the mask is not worn to protect the person wearing it, but rather those around you.By not wearing the mask they are contributing to the propagation of this virus.This virus is for real my daughter and son-in-law recently tested positive for it.

Time for a change. I and friends have been going here since mid 80’s from Mammoth Lakes. We all discussed how the last few times in here the owner has become very rude. We will find a different place for flies etc.

Staff is super friendly. Prices for flies and other fishing equipment is on par with anywhere else. If you need other supplies they likely have it as well. I'll certainly be back if I'm ever up that way again.

This is one of the coolest stores I've ever been in. An outdoorsman's dream, this place has everything you can imagine. It felt like getting a Willy Wonka golden ticket, and I was invited into the happiest candy factory in the world. Extensive fishing and camping supplies, the best gear, knives, guns... You name it. You can tell someone curates this place with great detail because there isn't one thing in that store I wouldn't buy. Don't ever change Ken's Sporting Goods, keep being the most awesome store in the Eastern Sierras.

Prices where actually very reasonable, about on par with a tackle warehouse or bass pro shops, friendly staff and all mostly oriented around trout fishing. God bless this business for not uncharging products enormously and keeping a reasonable price!

Basically anything that you need last minute or broke while out in the hills discovering fishing equipment, ammo, clothing you name it Kens would most likely have it. Small shop very friendly service. We always come to this store to have a look around

You pull into Bridgeport, but find out that singking rainbow Repalas are killing it at Lower Twin from the shore. Your Power Bait is dried up along with your eggs. Your line needs to be swapped out. You forgot your net and your flies got lost in the wind last trip. No worries, this place is stocked with all that, and then some. Been going here for decades..
