Hikers paradise! A cute local little bakery with tasty, hearty sandwiches. The owner was so kind even though there was a little bit of a wait (what rush were we in before or after hiking?!)I tried all 3 sandwiches before and then after going hiking near Hoover Wilderness and this spot was awesome! Also, don’t miss the donuts.A definite local spot and great spot for hikers traveling through.

Best fruit filled croissants! They also have an amazing selection of fresh baked breads, sweet or savory pastries and donuts. You’ve gotta to try a cream filled Turtle. I seriously love this place ❤️ Definitely a must when passing through Bridgeport.

Lovely staff but poor quality food, they charged us 29$ for a vegetarian sandwich with only with slice of tomato and small avocado piece in one of the sides a a bit of salad, a piece of dry quiché, a coffee and a tea. You could eat the sandwich in two bites. Over priced in our opinion.

Good food, service, drinks.A little self serve. We were there the last weekend before closing for the winter...last weekend of Oct.Only one person working, so a bit of a wait.Microwave to heat up the items is on the customer side. Easy to miss, mounted low.

We stopped here on our way to Yosemite for breakfast. We loved the donuts and cookies. Purchased an awesome loaf of Sierra bread for our picnic. Great little bakery with a cute atmosphere!

Get their cinnamon bread! We like to grill slices for breakfast. It’s to die for!This bakery has done a GREAT job with their safety practices during Covid-19. They have a box of masks and sanitizer at the door and everyone was wearing them inside! They also have tap pay for credit cards so I felt very safe doing business with them.

We stopped in early one morning after staying in town mid roadtrip an en route to Yosemite. Coffee was great and the sandwiches were really good, the staff were pleasant and willing to double check ingredients and edit a sammy for my vegan travel buddy. The juice menu is also really good and a very welcome injection of fresh goodness after too many days of camping/diner food. Stop in and try them out, you can sit in too and the vibe is nice.

This place has great coffee!(I am grateful for it as I just drove from Southern CA...I enjoyed their quiche too. They don’t have salad on the menu, but I asked for one and they made it for me. 👍🏼😊💕

Fresh baked goodies made with love. Fantastic service with a smile. Excellent selection and a good cup of Joe make this place mandatory if you are in the area.

We got around a half dozen assorted and they have all been superb. Highly recommend the fruit/cream cheese + savory croissants and the apple fritter. Delish!Also the coffee was really good as well (and only like 2 bucks). Recommend getting there early as they sell out by early afternoon.

Nice selection of baked goods but counter lady was unfriendly and made us feel like we were bothering her when we ordered. We ordered over $30 in food/beverages which included a frosted cinnamon roll & ham & cheese croissant. These items would have been best heated up but there was no offer of that. We were hesitant to ask for anything from this woman who scowled the entire time (at not only us, btw). The coffee was lukewarm also, it would be great if they offered espresso drinks as well. While we were eating there another counter lady showed up and was eating and drinking coffee while waiting on customers, like in their faces!

Stopped by on a whim to get breakfast and were unexpectedly surprised by a beautiful bakery! The coffee is simple, but of good quality and the pastries were delicious. I also appreciated the artwork displayed on behalf of Sierra Pastels (Tom E. Smith). Bridgeport is typically a drive-by town for me, but I intend to stop by this bakery many more times.

Excellent croissants and bread! They were busy during the July 4th weekend, but handled everything really well and in a timely fashion despite the older man pitching a fit that there was a small wait. We will definitely be back.

Disrespectful to us because we had a service dog. She does not understand the law of the service dog. She was rude and unkind to us. What kind of people who ignores disability or life threatening issues just because we had a service dog. What a disappointment.

First time in here, and boy oh boy did it exceed my expectations. I ordered a cold brew and a ham, cheese, and jalapeno croissant. I've been in the eastern sierras (I live in Mammoth Lakes) for 3 years. It's the best cold brew I've found (it's not bitter, and the flavor is aromatic and lovely). As for the croissant, it really hit the spot with just enough jalapeno to compliment the ham and cheese. I've been to plenty of places where the pastries or breakfast are good/okay but I might as well have eaten at home. High Sierra Bakery is worth it. As for cold brew, plenty of places in the eastern sierra have "cold brew" that tastes like bitter, weak iced coffee.High Sierra Bakery absolutely made my morning. So glad I've found a great bakery/coffee place.

As a local - I like coming here for cozy Sunday coffee dates with friends where I have delicious Blind Dog coffee and quiche. My go to weekday order is one of the many tasty croissants or a Dunderberg sandwich for lunch. Everything is fresh. You can tell Robin cares about the ingredients she gives her customers. And everyone that works there is friendly. The only downside is that they're not open in the winters.

Stopped here after hiking up by Twin Lakes and had a great sandwich. Highly recommend this place if you are in Bridgeport looking for a quick bite to eat.

Paid $15 for a $2 sandwich super over price. Please ask them price b4 order. And funny thing they call Cinnabon ( on top of bread they put caramel, 3 raisins & cinnamon powder ) Not going back.

Cute little bakery in this cute little town. My husband loves cinnamon rolls so when we are traveling we always seek out bakery’s so we can sample. This place does not disappoint he gave it a 8.5.

My old lady got us the Sierra haystacks Cookies and some sort of maple bar eclair. Both were phenomenal. Based off these 2 delectable treats, I would say this is the best bakery in the Eastern Sierras.
