The staff was a bit rude but the owner who drives by every morning and says hello, we weren't allowed to rent a boat bc of our 20lbs border Collie 1yr old puppy. Showers are $3 and no privacy. The sink was not working very well no water in the women's bathroom A bit uncomfortable. But they did provide our spot with sun coverings and we had a beautiful view of the lake. The lake did look very dirty with a lot of algae and a blue ring on the edge. I wouldn't eat fish from that lake. My favorite part was the clear skies and watching the stars next to the fire pit. Nothing nearby, no grocery stores, no food, and the few items available are 3x the cost, gas was 7.19 a gallon. Nothing opens til 9am-5pm. I would go back and try another campsite and be a bit more prepared taking absolutely everything we will need to eat drink including coffee for the morning.

Great campground. We spent 6 weeks here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff is very helpful and super friendly. The large campsites along with the view of the lake and snowcapped mountains added to our pleasurable experience. It was a plus being able to keep our boat in a slip. The day before we left, we caught and released 22 fish up to 2.25 pounds. There is a lot to do in the Bridgeport area and we are looking forward to returning and camping at the Bridgeport Reservoir Marina and Campground again.

The check in lady is nasty, rude, and aggressive, even coming to my rv to yell at us more. We reserved 6 full hook up spots together 6 months prior. When we arrived she did not have the spots we reserved and put us separated in non hook up spots with no refund or reduced amount. The spots were small, level and clean yet our view was of a junk yard (broken vehicles and appliances, piles of scrap metal and wood). The water is nice just bring good bug spray. The mosquitoes are abundant. The rest of the staff was very pleasant but she was awful throughout our stay.Noteworthy details: The spots are sandwiched between the reservoir and a trash yard.

I booked a few campsites here for me and some friends. When we arrived we were so disappointed to find the tiniest campsites ever, just a little patch of dust with a fence on one side and zero shade. And one was half flooded from the water spigot. The sites were nothing like what the website showed (apparently those were already booked but we had no way to know we were not getting those). We ended up camping somewhere else because these sites were so depressing. Even though I had been told on the phone there would be a half refund for any unused reservations, I was not given any refund on the 3 sites we had checked in on, even for the future nights after we cancelled. What a bummer. 0/10, would never come back here.

Anti-Burning Man location. They were charging $44 for a slot with full RV hookups. $30 for a RV spot with water and free holding tank dumping. But the unfriendly lady asked specifically if I was coming from Burning Man and told me it would cost $50 just to empty my tanks. I continued down the road to Lee Vining and found a friendly place that didn’t discriminate and charged a reasonable $15 to empty my tanks. Give this place a pass…

I had a great experience on the phone. I called up and was met by a lovely lady who answered all of my questions, of which there were many, and she was so nice throughout the entire conversation. We are booked to stay at the location this summer and I'll update my review accordingly.

Marina water is low and smells. Can't fish, swim or boat. (Would have been nice to know when we booked.) We pulled our own weeds in our camp site. Drip system on bushes run 24/7, which resulted in mud, so dog was a hot mess and it drew more bugs. Camp trailers and tow trailers randomly parked for storage. Abandoned old camp trailers parked in strange places. Bathrooms clean, but stalls are so small that you hit your head on the door when standing up and sitting down. I am only 5'5" and my knees kept the door open. So odd to not have privacy.Weird place. Gave it a 2 star because the bathrooms are clean and the view at sunset is amazing.

What a great campground in the middle of God’s Country! We tent camped the first two nights on the bluff looking over the lake. It was beautiful!! The staff was extremely helpful with giving us information and a map for the trail riding we had planned. They also asked us daily where we had gone riding and what had we seen… they were so friendly! The third night we decided to try one of their glamping tents and it was perfect… complete with a fire pit, Adirondack chairs, picnic table, and a pathway lined with solar lighting to get there. The bathrooms were very clean and all of the facilities were well maintained. We are already planning our next rip back in August.

They are terrible on the phone. So mean. I called to ask a question and the guy who answered was so rude. It made me so mad that I felt I should share it online so people know to avoid this place. If you're looking for a vacation spot that is dull, uncomfortable, and lacks any sense of hospitality or customer service, then Bridgeport Reservoir Campground and Marina is the perfect destination for you

I got a great site with water and electric to camp in my van. Not full house because it's already fall. The restroom near me was already closed for the winter. Barely any water left in the reservoir, but the birds look happy. At night, it's a great open area where you can see millions of stars and the Milky way.The campground itself is dirt road and dusty. I cannot say anything about how busy this place must be in the summer coz I was there on Sept 29th to Oct 1st, 2021. The tent sites are beautiful and wide facing the water. The fire pit is low on the ground for better heat coverage. They also have fish cleaning areas. The store/check-in is hard to find, but it's just down the hill by the gate entrance. A nice lady told me where it was. Staff are nice and friendly.Check this place out if you love fishing and riding your ATVs.

The camp site was so small,no shade, dump site next to camp site,no privacy at all,ATVs,buzzing around,no paths to the water, once you get to the water threw the brush there is junk piles everywhere. The size of the campsite, the RVs a stone toss beside us,no privacy, and the junk/trash piles was so disappointing. We did not stay..It was to uncomfortable.

Awesome experience! We got smoked out of Mammoth and they found us their great sites right on the Bridgeport Reservoir sitting out at sunset with a drink! The new owner is busy fixing it all up! Everyone there went out of their way to make this an amazing week! We will definitely be back. Lynn and Shelly made sure we had great sites, Dave & Bill helped us with the boat (make sure you rent one there for fishing) We caught a tagged Rainbow Trout 6-1/2lbs 23-1/2in. and a 3-1/2lb Brown Trout. We also caught 4 Lake Perch (yum delicious). They tell you how to best catch them, help you fillet them, and how to best cook them. Full service family campground! We will be back!!!

Convenient location; very clean park; friendly staff. The Reservoir is basically a marsh currently due to drought and there were signs warning of toxic algae in the remaining water. Sites were fairly average for a typical road side RV resort. Our site was small and cramped but had a nice view. The dry camping spots are more spacious than the full hook up spots. Park seems popular with OHV enthusiasts, so there was some morning noise from motorcycle engines being warmed up and revved up and riding along the lakeside. Well centralized spot for exploring the area. As noted, very clean. Some campers during our stay had some kids that weren’t good about cleaning up after themselves and camp staff were quick to clean up their litter.

Great experience at this RV park. Judi (i think was her name) was very welcoming and sweet. She had a lot of information about the reservoir and the fishing conditions. We didn't fish but wr did take them up on their 2hr boating special and rented an aluminum boat with a shade cover. Loved it! The rv spaces are a bit on the small side, but the one we got had a killer view of the reservoir.

Rented a spot for 4 days and extended an extra day. I was in site 16 with a friend and we had a complete blast. The views I'll never forget however it was the staff that made this place what it was. They were extremely helpful and friendly and attentive. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you.

Reasonable rates, they take reservations (which was why I chose this location over another local place), friendly and accommodating management and a variety of sites of varying sizes. A bit of the old school funky vibe, but the sites and the bathhouse and laundry are kept clean and respectable (though they might want to move the doors on the men's stalls, a bit tight in there ;-) ) and the current owners are updating things. Convenient to plenty of fishing, hiking etc as well as historical places. Would stay again.

Nice little campground with friendly, helpful office lady. Located right on the water. We took our SXS/ UTV offroading to the ghost town of Bodie and then over to Mono Lake...nice scenic ride. And the campground has really good internet throughout. It also has a small store and serves breafast. Four stars due to lack of limited full hook ups, but still a mice place to stay. We will camp here again in the future

We got to the RV park mid April before official opening date. Jeffrey was scrambling to get ready for the yearly fishing event, yet he tried his best to find time to get things ready for us. My heater in the camper went out and he loaned us an electrical heater. saved our trip Good facilities, extremely clean bath rooms. Nice to have a little extra room on the pull throughs and grass for the picnic tables

We needed a place to camp outside of Yosemite and this was the only place we could find that was open due to COVID. It is mainly for RV's that are there in the area for fishing, however, spacious tent sites are available as well. Very nice that tent sites are lake front, however, the wind can be insane, so bring extra stakes, just in case. The staff was very friendly. The bathrooms were kept clean and stocked. It seemed like most of the tent people just stopped for 1 night on the way somewhere else. The RV's stayed a couple. The town is really cute with good restaurants and it is near lots of lakes, mono lake, bodie, and Yosemite.

The hospitality at Bridgeport Reservoir Campground is above and beyond. Just the warm welcome I needed amidst a pandemic and fire evacuations. The view of the stars at night were spectacular from my lakeside campsite; little to no light pollution from the neighboring (super cute) town of Bridgeport. The facilities were clean, with laundry and showers onsite. Lynn at the front desk recommended the local hot springs - not too busy and refreshing any time of the day. My only regret is that I didn’t rent a four-wheeler! Thanks, Bridgeport Reservoir M&C! I will stop here again AND tell all my friends.

Our biggest pain point here was that camp site was very small.Great views.Fire pit was very small. No dedicated grill, it’s just the fire pit and grill combo, that wasn’t very convenient for grilling.Chase was amazing host, he even took the time to visit us before his shift was over.

Campground was clean and neat. Staff was very helpful. beautiful views from the whole campground. The only issue I had was that the website says all campsites have fire pits, but the RV sites do not have fire pits.
