We have been going to Brentwood family pet care for many years and have always had nothing but the best help and understanding of our pets. Dr. Johnson just removed two tumors from our 15 year year-old hounds eyes and he did a wonderful job. The care team took such good care of him with follow up phone calls to make sure everything was going smoothly after the surgery. We knew our sweet Lucy would be in good hands and she was. We would always recommend Brett family pet care.

Extremely professional Doctor Who really cared about the health of my cat, explained her diagnosis of the issues with enough detail to be able to treat her in the best way possible. Highly recommend this veterinarian and I’ve use several in the area with my five animals.

Another vet told my Mom to take her cat to a cancer center even though Lily's lymphoma was too far along to treat. Mom decided to call Dr. Johnson at Brentwood Family Pet Care as he is my dog's vet. After receiving Lily's records Dr. Johnson said the only humane option was to help Lily cross the Rainbow Bridge.The compassion and love Dr. Johnson and Kristin had for Lily and my Mom was extraordinary. He even cried with us! After Lily passed, Dr. Johnson handled her with such tenderness and reverence. He didn't just pick her up, he lovingly wrapped her in a blanket and gently lifted her from the table.They are pricier than other veterinarian clinics, but the service and compassion for your pets is extraordinary. I highly recommend Brentwood Family Pet Care!

I have used this place for a very long time. Staff is always friendly. I have had two pets, 1 dog of 14 years and 1 cat of 22 years put down here. Even tho. Its the most difficult thing to do, they are just super nice about it. Giving you the time you need to say good bye. I also, used their cremation services. Tad pricy, but just the best. When I got them back I got, a bag as well as the remains. The bag has a nice sweet story to tell about your fur friend crossing the rainbow Bridge and waiting for you and seeing you when you get there, its just really nice. Also paw prints and a nice certificate of passing. Thank you all.

They helped us put our family member to rest but the earn took a very long time to receive and death certificate had the wrong name on it. After what we went through and how expensive it was we felt that we could have chose a better option to help us through this process for our boy Goober.

We brought our old dog who we love so much to put him to sleep. The staff was extremely compassionate. From the moment we arrived the receptionist did not ask any further questions and took us directly to a room where we could wait and have quite time. Then Doctor and Tech both were gentle and empathetic throught the whole process. Dr Weinstein is Moki's vet, the picture is an old picture. Moki has been going through a health issue for 2 & 1/2 months and he has lost over 10lbs along with his appetite. Moki and I have been under Dr Weinstein care for nearly 3 wks, he's patient with the both of us. Moki's physical needs and my emotional needs. He didn't give up on Moki and thank goodness.Moki is a FORMER patient of Banfield Deer Valley and on May 1st was diagnosed w/pancreatitis. Instructed to feed him Hill dog food, Entyce and get an ultrasound that has a price tag of $1000. Instead, scheduled and appt at Brentwood Family Vet and Dr Weinstein 2 wks later for a 2nd opinion.Moki was already losing more weight and strength but he had his playfulness and love. Dr Weinstein prescribed antibiotics and urged to try and feed him best we could, follow up in a week. The office called during the week to check on him and make suggestions till his upcoming appt. A week later no change except Moki was getting weaker but he still had determination and was prescribed a steroid. Moki started his steroid treatment along w/probiotic on Friday and ate a small meal that morn. & eve. Saturday he got pampered with a bath/6 small tbsp. meals which he "inhales" and all day "belly rubs." And I've continued this daily treatments w/his meds and he is slowly getting into his routine of playing with his sqeek toys, chasing squirrels, playing & napping w/his dad and visiting his friends next door.Dr Weinstein has the best "bedside manner" I was...[no need to explain]. He listened and it's not easy w/a frustrated and desperate mom.He has made my husband so happy since Moki was his birthday present 10 yrs ago and it's his birthday tomorrow 💗. Thank 😊 Dr Weinstein.

In these days when pet care seems to have turned into more of a business, Brentwood family pet care is shining example of putting pets and their people first. They are caring, have empathy and don't push you or make you feel guilty for the decisions made.My Daughter takes her GSD here and loves them.I recently had to euthanize my closest friend ever. Dr Weinstein helped myself and Sabre through this horrible time by being gentle, professional and empathetic.

I love this place. Every time I have an issue I come here. They are a little pricy, which is why I do my vaccines through a lower cost clinic (I have 3 dogs, it gets expensive), but I trust them with my animals care and health. Their people are top notch, their recommendations are fair and never see like a cash grab. They are always on time and I don't feel like I'm made to sit and wait around. Every time I go, I leave very happy with their services. Highly recommend!

After spending $5,000 on blood tests, an ultrasound and a liver biopsy, Brentwood Family Pet Care was not able to diagnose my dogs' condition. After some internet research, I was able to pinpoint the cause of their symptoms. They also knew nothing about what is becoming a common condition in dogs: celiac disease. When I met with Kylie, their associate practice manager and some other woman to tell them that I was very dissatisfied with the diagnostic path they took, they pretty much lied to me about what was suggested by the vet. I told them I would find another vet, but when I attempted to schedule a liver value test for my one dog to close out the case and to get him off of a drug that may be unnecessary, they denied me service and told me to go elsewhere. Steer clear of this practice unless you want to spend a small fortune on vets that are only general practice vets. If you have a problem, I suggest UC Davis. They are FAR more affordable and FAR more knowledgeable than this bunch.

I have been going to this place for routine stuff for my dog about a couple of years. They operate like a garage. You take your dog there, they sell you diagnotic tests and commit you to buying more products and services. They take your dog to the back and do not bring them out until you pay the bill. If you need a prescription refill, they make you pay for a visit and new tests each time that would give them the opportunity to find questionable conditions for selling more products and services. I am sure a lot of them run similar schemes but this one was just a bit too much for us. Do not recommend at all.

Been going here for years with excellent experiences. But now, I think a large corporation has purchased. The Vet refused to examine my golden retriever in front of me..said my dog is agressive. My old Vet there interacted and examined my golden having fun with tail wagging. The Vet wanted me to agree to a $1500 cleaning and possible tooth extraction on my 6 year old kitty who has no dental disease. The Vet rushed in without introducing herself and expressed no interest in who I was or my presence there. I was just the cash source. Stay away. After 32 years of happily being a client, sadly, I must say they are no longer to be trusted.

We saw Dr. Johnson on the recommendation of a friend and I cannot imagine a better experience. The doctor took a genuine interest in our cat who really responded positively. This was the exact opposite of the experience we'd had with another vet just a couple of months before.

Highly recommended. I've been happily going there for years and have seen all the doctors at one time or another with my dogs. I absolutely trust the doctors and staff with my fur babies. They all love what they do and it shows in how they treat my pets and myself. Friendly and professional. Once I got established there, they became like family. My dogs can't wait to greet them.

Being a retired veterinary technician I had a hard time finding a Veterinary hospital that I trusted. I am so happy with Brentwood Family Pet. They treat my pets with love and care, which is the most important thing to me. They also have fantastic doctors esp. Dr. Heath who I can't say enough good things about and awesome technicians, and most of their front office staff are very friendly and helpful too.I would never go back to the veterinarian I used to work for (who is local) as they treated their staff horribly, so I'm glad I found Brentwood Family Pet!
