Really nice store, with multiple item-selections in any category! The owners were friendly and knowledgeable! Like a small town store should be. Lots of parking signs to guide you in and out safely off from and to the busy roadway.

Old school hardware place. Very helpful and service is excellent. We needed propane but we needed someone with the ability to fill tanks. As soon as we drove in, there was someone there e to help us.Really nice people.

I live in nearby Glen Ellen and this store has saved me loads of time many times when I need small items to fix things. Plus they’ve got propane and lumber - full service even though a small biz. The staff is uniformly friendly and helpful. Helpful as in jumping in to assist when I walk in the door, as in listening to my repair needs and helping with a design of a fix. Helpful as in offering info that I didn’t know that will help me repair or monitor my equipment. Helpful as in true customer service. The owner could give seminars on customer service through the JC. Based on multiple visits over the last 8 years. This is one of the top businesses on my personal list that I want to survive the pandemic and Econ downturn. And that’s the facts Jack!

When needing to replace a diverter valve in a shower, Oscar walked me through the entire process. He drew a diagram of the parts, instruced me on the required tools and found the right replacement when I came back with the part. We are fortunate to have such great customer service in our area!

This place is great. I used to go to the big box just because it was convenient but now I've moved to this side of town. These guys were great and had everything I was looking for. I have my new favorite hardware store.

Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Great service the moment you walk in the door. I am amazed at the selection they have and if they don't have a specialized item, they will order it for you. I will spend a few dollars more to avoid wasting my time at a big corporate "box store" with no service and no soul.

It's an Ace Hardware Store & locally owned. I don't go there often but it's close & I went there a lot when I was taking care of my Mother starting in 2001.I went there to have a knowledgeable person help me with a drain cleaner. I had picked up a drain cleaner at Safeway that did nothing. The one I got at Parson's worked.

Tried to get off early to grab some wood trim. I made it to the store by 4:40p. I was told the lumber yard closes at 4:30p. I knew what I wanted, but I was not allowed to buy wood after 4:30p. I guess the store stays open until 5pm. Not what I consider a conventional hardware and lumber store. If you work a 8-5 kinda job you may want to come in on your lunch break. Santa Rosa is where I will be going for my hardware and lumber needs.

Great to have Pearson's Lumber & Hardware in Sonoma!!Recently stopped at Friedman's in search of anti-grub treatment for the lawn, but found none. A quick call to Parson's revealed they they had some in stock. Upon entering the store, the service person remembered my phone call, promptly retrieved the treatment and even gave good tips about how to apply it.Way to go, Pearson's Lumber & Hardware. Happy to have an alternative yo big box hardware stores in Sonoma.

I have always loved, loved, loved THIS particular hardware store~even when I was introduced to it when my Father would take me with him on his weekend visits. I "helped" him find things on the lower hooks/drawers/shelves! Guess that's why I have a DIY attitude~in my Parson's blood. Seems they have everything but what they may not have right there in store they will order&have overnight if needed. They've helped me sooooo many times by putting things together for me after I've totally screwed it up. I love, love, love this(my)Ace Hardware/PARSON'S.!!!!!!

The owner of the store actually got out of his truck and yelled profanity at me for “parking where he was going to park”. I’m not a mind reader but more to the point here- what does that say about your customer service or common decency? I was flabbergasted. Not only should you be embarrassed and ashamed, you lost a whole bunch of customers in one shot. Your business doesn’t deserve to survive COVID.

Parsons is the place you can find anything you need for DIY projects around the house and garden. You can find pieces to older things that are hard to find like lawn mowers. Staff are friendly and helpful.
