This place is a gem! It is now one of my favorite places. It has kitchen items, hiking boots, loads of flip flops, sandals and shoes. It has clothing, hats, bathing suits and gift shop items. Face and body items to keep you beautiful and even Brighton jewelry! And the nicest employees you've ever met.The best thing yet? They even have an online store!!If you ever get to Borrego Springs, or close to it, stop in and check it out.

They have some very nice clothing items that, sadly, I cannot afford. Nice selection of swim suits for it being off season! Souvenir/gift items are available, and some nice kitchen items, as well as some good sandals and shoes.

I love this place! Great place to get high quality gifts, shoes, clothes, outdoor gear, etc... I hate shopping. But, I love to go here! And if you can't decide on a gift, they have gift cards, beautifully wrapped in a cute little box with a bow. Amazing selection. The employees are very courteous and helpful.

This is my favorite go to store for gifts, cards and hiking gear. They sell my favorite boots for a nice walk in the park, the great Anza Borrego State Park that is !! I love their clothing selection too. Take time to meander through this nicely stocked, clean vibrant store.

Great place! I forgot my running shoes in San Diego. I was bummed out and considering driving back to get them. However, I stopped in and found that these guys have a great shoe selection, mostly geared towards hiking, but they did have a running option...and they had it in my size! The prices are also very reasonable. I almost hate to admit it, but I googled the shoes I was considering before I bought them and they were listed at the exact same price on the internet as in this store. They are also very friendly and have a huge selection of other items in just about every category you can think of. I'll definitely be back!

My favorite store, bar none, ever. The range of inventory is astonishing: camping gear, men and women’s’ apparel (including shoes) that cover the gamut, household and beauty items, jewelry, greeting cards....and more. It’s my go to for all gifts.The staff is warm and welcoming and so good at helping you find what you were looking for. It’s a modern day general store that we’re fortunate to have in Borrego Springs.

Offering a little of this and a little if that, this chic store was able to supply me with everything I had forgotten coming out to Borrego Springs. Their goods were all high quality, which justified the high price point. They had a good selection of tshirts and magnets for souvenirs. Nothing was too expensive or unreasonable. Staff were friendly and eager to help out or answer questions.

I needed clothes that was appropriate for the trip. I travelled from a place that was colder and didn't pack any summer clothes. Since it was Black Friday I was able to get 15% off my purchase. This store provided me with everything I needed for my hike. The customer service was very helpful, and the lady helped me pick an outfit out in less than ten minutes!

Great outdoor store. Have a nice selection of outdoor necessities including hydration packs, clothes, and shoes. Also have nice kitchen equipment and specialty food items like cheeses and spreads. Prices are reasonable, particularly given the location.

I went in to Borrego Outfitters to find a pitcher. The young lady that was there to help me was very attentive and answered all my questions. I wandered through the store, and found a t-shirt for my wife. Traveling through Gift Stores it's hard to find something unique and Borrego Outfitters certainly has some unique clothing. I would highly recommend a stop at Borrego Outfitters anytime your in Borrego Springs. Their hours are limited dudakov it. And they handle mostly outdoor active wear and accessories

Great place to shop. Has everything you need. Brand names so alittle pricey but I love there rewards program. You get dollars back . Hubby and I both shopped there for each others Christmas presents. 😀

Borrego Outfitters may be the biggest surprise in Borrego Springs. Kind of hidden away in the back of "The Mall" at first glance it is just another souvenir/out door shop. Don't let first impressions fool you. They carry only quality brands of outdoor gear and clothing. Ex Officio, Columbia, Royal Robbins, Kuhl, just to name a few. With an excellent inventory that even REI might envy. Plus they have a nice collection of wines and other goodies you might need at your lodging or campsite. And the staff is the best part of the experience, the surprise is their pricing, it is extraordinarily fair. In many cases discounted under the prices you see at REI, and other department stores. I will be back.

Last year I bought a pair of Olukai trainers and like them so much, I bought a second pair this year. The store has top quality clothing and gear for knocking around the desert in. Well worth a visit to their shop.

Incidental finding on Google maps that I ended up needing for an "emergency" tent repair. I decided to pass on the duct tape route (see also True Value in town). This place carries tent patch kits and Tenacious Tape! Mad score. 👍👍
