An amazing experience at Sonoma Coast Vineyards (SCV)!! A friend and I were traveling to Jenner and read about SCV and their wine expert, Spencer. True to the amazing reviews, Spencer was both friendly and very informative about each wine we sampled. The tastings were incredible, the generous outdoor seating/views were fabulous, and the club membership had numerous perks/benefits! Above all, Spencer made the experience memorable and we’re now thrilled to be club members of SCV!

Friendly staff of three working the sunny day we arrived. They allowed our greyhounds to sit inside while four of us did the tasting sans reservation. $30/each plus tip and we were allowed to pay separately.We started at the bar and then we’re moved to the table in the middle because the reservation didn’t show up. Steady stream of visitors. Most seemed like tourists.We were offered to join the wine club and waive the four tasting fees, but declined this time. As we just got a house in the area, it could be something we join in the future!Clean and airy space. Lots of outdoor benches also but we didn’t want to sit in the sun and there were no umbrellas.Two Restrooms in the back and a few items for sale in the front. Water available upon request. We also asked for a small spit bucket.One of us got the last parking spot so the other car went down the hill where there is a bigger lot.Two of us got bottles from the tasting. We were also offered an extra bubble or white at the end.

Spencer gave us a fabulous tasting experience, so much so, we signed up for a membership. Plus the wines spoke for themselves. It was a beautiful day and despite being extremely busy, we were never left unattended at all the whole time we were there. We were allowed to taste a number of wines, all were good quality, well balanced and pretty well priced. The access to other wineries as part of the membership is a bonus perk we liked. My friends and I loved this place! It was our first wine tasting and we had the best time. Wine is amazing and customer service is impeccable, definitely going back next time I’m in Bodega Bay!!

Cute little spot in Bodega Bay to enjoy a glass of wine outdoors on a beautiful day. I usually go for cabernets but they do not make any and so suggested their red blend. The red blend was a fantastic recommendation! Will have to revisit next time I’m in the area.

The wines sell themselves. The experience tasting however depends on who you get. We have been members for a few years and have tasted at the winery 4 times. Our first 3 tastings were off the charts fantastic - Very friendly staff that kept us intrigued and offered a couple different wines that were not on the tasting menu, after listening to what our favorites were. Our last visit was not good. The host sounded like he was reading from a script , then offered nothing off the tasting menu even though everyone else in ear shot was offered 2 different wines off of the menu. Possibly a new member to the team. Regardless of the service, we Definitely recommend this winery.

My fiancé and I booked this experience on our vacation celebrating our 2 year anniversary. It was very enjoyable, the wines tasted great, the atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were attentive and friendly. We told our host that we weren’t fans of reds and she offered us an extra taste of a white that we really enjoyed, it was such a kind accommodation. Great price, highly recommend.

Our sommelier, Amanda was great! Excellent location on Bodega Bay, with Coastal views & spectacular sunsets! Loved all the wines presented on our flights. Highly recommend!

We have been through hell with them my daughter signed up for wine club and were told we could cancel at any time repeatedly. She has had a hardship and can't afford it. They have been horrible trying to cancel and extremely rude. My daughter has been in tears over this. Don't sign up they aren't honest with you on cancellations. Really unfortunate we liked the wine but word of mouth is everything.

We had Danielle serve us outside and we had the best time! Highly recommend and it’s totally worth the price. You might even get a few extra sips. Also the charcuterie box had the bread bagged so it’s safe for GF folks.

Such a beautiful location!I was treated by my parents for my birthday. Pinot galore!There was a group who was very loud but other than that it was a good experience.Very modern ambiance. Lots of sitting inside and outside. Don't forget about bar seating.They have charcuterie boxes for snacks.Recommend for a fun time.

Beautiful tasting room! My wife and I made a last-minute reservation, and were able to do the wine tasting flight. There’s a nice outside patio, though later in the day it fills up quick so we chose to sit inside. Everyone we spoke to was lovely and it was a nice low-key experience. We enjoyed all of the wine and would definitely stop in again.

Wines are very good and outdoor seating on nice days are great. This was my third time visiting SCV and the most disappointing. Service was slow and inattentive, so much so that we had to pick up and go inside to buy some bottles and settle up. Excuse was “they got busy” but we had a reservation so that excuse doesn’t sit well. Unwillingness to comp more than one $30 tasting fee for a $250+ purchase (which could have been more). Hard sell on club membership was unwelcome. No one should have to say “no” more than once. May or may not be back.

We didn’t have an appointment but despite being super busy at the end of the day they still accommodated us. The wines were solid…especially the rose and Pinot niors. The woman that took care of us was especially pleasant. People definitely help make the experience!

The i location is unbeatable but the wines are just as good! I was prepared for mediocre wines at a great tasting spot but these wines are top notch and grapes sourced from some of Sonoma’s best vineyards.
