This is the second time staying at Paris Plage. We truly enjoy the house and the location to golf course is an easy walk away. The golfing here at Bodega is amazing. Such a beautiful and challenging course to play. The course was in excellent condition. One of my favorite places to play. The house is very nice with the hot tub and the amazing sauna. The stairs to the sauna are through the master shower and are very steep! There are many games, books, cd’s, and a few records to listen to. Beautiful views from the kitchen and living room. The house, including the sauna, is 5 levels. The light switches are very confusing, most are labeled but the layout of the switches is not very cohesive.We let management know about the issues that we had here, but thought that I would put them in this review for others to be aware of.ANTS: We had an ant problem in the kitchen. We set our food on the counter for our stay, and as we went to grab snacks, we found ants all throughout our food. We happened to find some ant stakes in the laundry room closet and put them out, but it didn’t resolve the problem. I recommended that they start pest control for the house. I personally think that any vacation rental should have pest control, people on vacation do not need to deal with pests.FIREPLACE: We had the same issue both times that we stayed here. There is a wire broken on the receiver for the remote control. You have to hold the wire together to control the fireplace. This has been reported both times to management.HOT TUB: As soon as we arrived, we turned up the temperature on the hot tub so it would be ready when needed. We were not told that the heater was broken on the hot tub! The people before us had reported it, but it was not passed on to us. The last day of our stay it was fixed. The hot tub does have a few of the pillows missing, just be careful because the bolts for them are still sticking out.TV: Not a huge deal, but just be aware that there is only one TV in the house. It is in a small room, but nicely done. We just like TV in bed, but there is no bedrooms with TVs. Like I said, not a huge problem.All in all, this is a nice place to stay if you want to stay at Bodega for a little cheaper.

From start to finish the experience of finding and renting a beach getaway home was superb. The massive selection of homes available makes it impossible to not find something perfect for whatever your needs are .. maybe a little too challenging since all of the homes are so nice! We found a great home, we were able to watch the sunrise and sunset from our porch. Received easy check in and check out instructions and upon arrival the home was spotless and had a wonderful binder full of all sorts of info etc. We walked around the neighborhood and began planning our next stay . Cannot recommend Bodega Bay and Beyond enough!

Our stay was very enjoyable at Peacehaven. The home was clean, and there were plenty of amenities. The view of the harbor was quite lovely. We will definitely revisit!

3 days agoExtremely Disappointed, Arrived at the Kona Cove house for a 7 day stay. The house was completely ant invested, ants in every corner of the house. The fireplaces were not working, the internet was not working, the hot water to the showers was intermittent, the hot tub needed to trip the electrical circuit to work and there were valentine ballons floating in the vaulted ceiling. We arrived a few days after Valentine's Day. Called Chris at Bodega Bay and beyond, absolutely worthless, comes to the house, tells us all of the houses on the golf course have ants, we understand, get a pest service, they don't have one. Trips the circuit for the hot tub, we tell him about the hot water situation, he turns on the hot water, yes there is hot water, no adjusting and it turns ice cold, something is wrong. My daughter in law had to call a pest control company to treat for ants. Chris approved the bill, so they must know they have a problem, Chris was not going to make the effort to call a pest company. We have been renting homes from Bodega Bay and Beyond for 12 years. Never, Ever, Ever again. The Boel Family

Horrible business practices. My wife and I booked a 4 day getaway for Thanksgiving 2023. Unfortunately, we got Covid shortly before our arrival date. We tested positive again, and notified the host as soon as we knew. We were too sick to travel, my wife even had to go into the emergency room at the hospital. We had paid nearly $1700 for the 4 night stay. The host refunded $334 right away, as that was the total for taxes and cleaning. Then they returned another $500 stating they were able to rent the place for 2 nights to someone else. So, we received approximately half of our money. They kept $837 of ours, and we got nothing. I guess they are fine with guests showing up with full blown Covid. I could never do that, and put someone in danger. Just imagine if you are someone who is immunocompromised or elderly in bad health and show up to a home that just hours ago had someone very sick with Covid eating, sleeping and spewing Covid all over. Bad business, terribly irresponsible. Just a "head's up" if you're ok with a host with that kind of Covid policy and no regard for their guests well-being.

Our sewing group can no longer meet in South Lake Tahoe and we are blessed to have found a place to stay in Bodega Bay.The weather was cool, the place was relaxing and the scenery was beautiful. Kona Kove was on the 14th tee. We walked daily, some walked more than once daily, we went to the beach. The people are very friendly. We've already booked the same house for next year..

Stayed at "All Waves" the last couple of nights for a vacation; the home was beautiful, the communication/reservation prior to booking was good and the weather was what you can expect from a coastal town in summer - fog or sun. If you are staying in "All Waves" for the foreseeable future, PLEASE BE NOTED that there is a house under construction extremely close to the rental (on the zero property line probably) and it is most assuredly not quiet when it is going on. We visited on the weekend and were very irritated when it started right at 8:10am on a Saturday. We did have a Sunday reprieve though from the construction. While yes, this is noted on the website, it is in the same font as all of the description and does not adequately describe the issue. (See attached.) Lastly, on the day of departure, I am not sure what was going on with the person that accepted the return of my keys near 9am, but they seemed very offended that I was not only there, but was even speaking to them. I do not know if that was an official employee or a co-building sort of arrangement, but visitor beware.

Beautiful home and views. Enjoyed all the succulent plantings near the hot tub. Home, especially the kitchen was very well equipped. Only recommendation is that it’s time to replace the master bedroom bed.

We rented a small cottage on the bay, complete kitchen. Plenty of restaurants, a couple of small grocers for those items you forgot. They have places that allow animals. The bay was beautiful. I can't wait to go back.

We stayed at the Harbor Master house over the holidays. While the house was clean, the hot tub was pretty nasty and had so much chlorine that it made us cough when we used it. It also never came up to temperature after their maintenance company refilled it after unsuccessfully trying to resolve the issue. We brought this to Bodega Bay's attention and they tried to blame it on us by saying we must not have showered before using the hot tub, which is ridiculous and definitely wouldn't cause the nastiness in that tub. There were also maintenance issues in the house, like a second story window above a bench seat that wouldn't close and was a hazard for our small children.

We had such a great time in our rental! The weather was perfect, the beach gorgeous, and the Altamar house spectacular!! We spent every day at Schoolhouse beach directly across the street from the house, lulled by the dramatic waves constantly churning. Our trips to nearby Dillon and Pinnacle beaches which were so calm and beautiful in the afternoon light were an amazing contrast to Schoolhouse, only a couple of miles distant. How splendidly tempermental the California Coast is... Chris at BBB was very helpful and engaged. We are already booking a return - and keeping fingers crossed that the Pacific weather will treat us this well again!!

Tramonto 687 highway 10 starts if I could!FALSE ADVERTISING!!!Pictures are old.Yes it's pet friendly, but the smell of URINE is unreal.This place is absolutely discussing. Piss stains are everywhere I took lots of pictures! There were NO CLEANING Supplies in the home of any sort, if your pet had an accident or to wipe the counters clean.There were NO extra BLANKETS, besides on the bed. I will never be back. It's nastyThe manager Chris was nice, he offered to have house cleaning come by today in the middle of our stay, for another cleaning. She came with a bottle of resolve and a rag. She was unable to remove stains. She ended up covering up the chair and couch with clean Linens. We made the mistake of not reading YELP REVIEWS! Same complaints!!!!!Management won't give money off, we even wanted to move somewhere else, but everything was full and we were very far away from home, we had no choice. I was discussed and disappointed. he said he would contact the owners, but no response (my opinion he never contacted them). Pictures are proof with how nasty this place is.

Our stay at Cypress Row was awesome. The home is beautifully modern with every appliance you can imagine. Spectacular views & a double headed shower--sublime. Books, puzzles & a pool table to boot. What more can you ask for?

Stayed at the Whaler. A well appointed clean home . 2 levels, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathso. Vaulted rafter ceilings. Expansive glass windows and view of the ocean. Most well equipped rental in have ever been in.. I have traveled extensively around the world. Everything new and modern.. kitchen well equipped. All drugstore items supplied. Rustic views. Nothing else I would need. We had a wonderful stay. Looking for ospreys and deer. Çlose to restaurants. Especially like Fishermans Cove.

Beware when booking with this company: they have no problem advertising properties with amenities that are out of service or unavailable, and they'll even lie to you about it. Apparently they think it's okay to list a property for rent and take a customer's money without doing a basic check-up to make sure all the features are working as promised. Don't risk it with them.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!! These people are scam artists. They promised us a '5-star' property which we rented (BEACH BREAK) and it was a pig sty. Filthy, ugly, dirty windows, musty odors and broken lights, etc. All told, our vacation was not a pleasant one. And this rental company - was anything but helpful, They were snotty, arrogant and simply downright nasty.DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!!!
