Saw good reviews about the boat house and stopped by here on our roadtrip down Highway1. They did not disappoint! Staff were attentive and ordering was fast.Their calamari and grilled oysters were the best! Who would have known grilling oysters with ketchup would taste divine? The crab cake sandwich was juicy and tasty. We have to order a small bowl of clam chowder because the reviewers recommended it and it was also good.If you are driving on Highway 1, please make sure drop by. You will need good food to enjoy the wonderful view 😊

Went here because of the quirky decoration outside. It's a small restaurant at the corner of the street with some parking spot.We ordered: fish & chips, fish tacos & hot chocolate.- Fish & chips: good. fish coating was crispy and the fish wasn't overcooked. The chips were crispy.- Fish tacos: delicious! Fish were crispy & perfectly cooked. The salsa sauce on top of the fish was delicious.- Hot chocolate: it's a Nestle hot chocolate mix - so nothing fancy about it. I bought it for my kido because he was cold.Overall, good food, good portion & good price.

Been hearing raves about this place and I'm hardly in thr Northbay or Bodega Bay. But everyone swears this place is " a must". It was my first time here.Limited parking and limited seating. Got there close to 130pm and there was still a line of about 10 people in the cold weather.Bbq oysters- I like bbq and love oysters but sadly this combo does not work for me. I'd probably order oysters with no bbq sauce.Fish and chips- crispy, fresh and hot. Good.Philly sandwich- this was amazingly the best thing I ate here! Nice hot sandwich with well portions of meat and cheese and flavors.It was a good first time and feel I need to give it another try. Maybe the hype made me want to believe it was a lot better than it was.

Very happy with the food. Coleslaw was good and the Philly was very good and I really like the bread so soft . Also the clam chowder in the bread I was told was very good by the wife. great place to stop we will be back again

The clam chowder hit the spot! We were looking for a warm snack during our coast drive and this place gave us both a warm place and hot clam chowder. There’s a nice view out a very big window and it looks like every clam they use, they toss it out the back door or back window. XD There we’re so many shells in the back! The staff members were super nice and kind. We totally recommend this place to anyone who is in the area :)

Kids loved the burgers and fries but not the chicken sandwich. Fish and chip and Fish tacos were great. Parking is tight. Good outdoor seating.

We enjoyed this little oddball restaurant in Bodega Bay. We ate outside but there was a little seating inside as well. You place your order inside and then they bring it to your table. I had the Philly Cheese steak that was very tasty. My mom had clam chowder that she loved and my sister had the fried scallops. They were all great.

This was our last stop of our Oregon Coast road trip and I was still craving basket foods like fish n chips or tenders n chips and a good last bowl of cowder. This is a nice family owned place with limited parking. I went with the crispy chicken sandwich and fries, bowl of clam chowder and a nice cold Corona with lime. The portions were very nice, at least IMO. The crispy chicken was a nice big piece in the sandwich with thick toasted buns and nice steak fries. The clam chowder was good, but it was no where close to the ones I had in Oregon though. I ate half the sandwich and was full already. Definitely recommend this place if you're stopping by Bodega Bay.

My wife and I stopped by the Boat House on 1445 Coast Highway 1 in Bodega Bay yesterday. It is our favorite place to get Fish & Chips. They offer a taste sensation we never get tired of. Delicious! They have indoor and outdoor seating and are dog friendly. While there, you can arrange Private Boat Charters and Fishing Excursions. The people working there are very friendly and efficient.

A cute place to stop by and get some fish and chips. The service was nice and our food came out quickly. The fish and chips and clam chowder tasted fresh and came out piping hot, perfect for the weather.

Pretty delicious fish and chips. It was very crunchy and more of strips than a giant fish filet, which i liked! The tartar was very oniony, which was delicious. The chowder was not thick but tasted good. If you don't like paprika, ask them not to sprinkle the powder on top. It made it taste off. Very little seating. I come here for the fish and chips whenever I'm in town.

Through my years of seeing this location to and from the beach I finally had the chance to try this place. Their calamari and fish and chips are delicious and their children's plates are big enough to for 2 kids ! Will definitely make it a routine to stop by every time I'm around.

I want to say the food is delicious but they need to clean the shrimp better. I am currently pregnant and came in for my birthday. I ordered the prawns and my first bite into it i saw poop in the shrimp. It immediately turned me off. I sat there picking the poop out of the prawn. The prawns didnt have flavor which i was bummed about. The fish and calamari were a huge hit. I absolutely loved those. You get a huge bed of calamari on chips. I now know next time not to order the prawns. Especially when you pay 15 bucks and get 5 prawns with have still being dirty.

Nice place to stop along the coast to eat. Clam Chowder and the fish and chips were excellent. The fried Calamari was also very good. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Good little joint. Quality of the food was great. Enjoyed clam chowder with bread bowl, delicious. Fish tacos were fresh and flavorful. The zucchini sticks were good.

We have been coming to the Boat House for over 10 years during our visits to Bodega bay and still love it. Good food and fast service. It does get very busy sometimes on the weekends, but the wait is worth it.
