Found this place cruising down the coastal highway. I will say their food was very good no complaints on that. You have to order your food before you even sit down and then they bring the food out to you. I thought it was weird paying for the food before you ate it and they were already asking for a tip like how do I know what to give you I didn't see what kind of service you provided me yet.

Great lunch stop when you’re traveling through Big Sur. The service is quick and friendly and the menu is very reasonably priced for the quality of food you receive. We got the roadhouse chicken sandwich and the roadhouse burger, both of which came with a side salad. The interior was cozy, clean, and had a fireplace which was a really nice touch for what a rainy cold day we were having. I would definitely recommend this for anyone passing through looking for a nice casual lunch.

Staff and setting were awesome. However the breakfast was small and pricey. The menu is pretty limited and mostly trendy food items. We spent about $60 for two folks and left hungry. Not many gluten free items, either. The coffee is not good. The barista did her best, but the beans are not great. This place is better suited for people that take instagram pics next to old trucks and drink sugary coffee drinks.

Pretty quaint little place amidst nature. The place is very well maintained and the food is delicious. We had a tuna sandwich, burger and cappuccino. There was some confusion on the side of our order, hence minus one star. Would love to comeback again.

Quiet little place, good menu, great coffee and even better food. The salad was extremely fresh and had a light and flavorful dressing. Dishes are fairly priced at between $12-$19, which is a deal for the quality of food. Enjoyed the Greek dish with pita and hummus as well as a finely cooked hamburger. The ambience is great. The front side featured fire pits while the back offered a unique dining option of seating along the edge of a relatively steep drop-off overlooking a river (among traditional tables). Highly recommend visiting if staying in the area or passing through while visiting Big Sur.

Nice restaurant. Good coffee.We stopped here while traveling to Big Sur when we paid a visit in Monterey.The restaurant looks cozy and relaxing. The staff was nice and helpful. When I was indecisive and went for the Macchiato, he explained to me it was not the same macchiato sold in Starbucks and what was in the macchiato. Really appreciated that because it wasn’t my liking.No comment on the food because we only ordered coffee, but their coffee was really good. My hubby got an iced latte while I got an iced caffè mocha. Yep, this is more of my coffee type.The view is pretty. Sipping my coffee while looking at the greenery was really nice.Will come back if we’re in the area.Parking: Plenty of parking next to the restaurantKid-friendliness: The atmosphere and environment is nice to spend with family and friends. Your children will love it!

Food was yummy. Had the breakfast burrito with chorizo and my partner had the English muffin. Ambiance is nice. Easy breakfast.We came from Glen Oaks, as we were told that there was complimentary coffee and donut. There was but decided to stay for the food.

Excellent customer service experience, good food menu. Things I have tried: English muffin breakfast sandwich, huavos rancheros and side potato’s and the pulled pork sandwich. English muffin was just ok, the other 3 items were amazing. Highly recommended for breakfast and lunch.

Super friendly clean and cozy restaurant in the heart of Big Sur. Took a break here while exploring with a friend. Burger was big and juicy and the fries were scrumptious. Would come here again. They also take military discount!

Stopped here for lunch after walking around Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. Food was delicious, views were great & the bathrooms were clean.

Very nice fish and chips. The fries were exceptionally delicious.The location is cute and cozy, with country music and lots of succulents.For $20 there could've been more fish, though, so I'll have to pass on the 5 stars

Great customer service from the person behind the counter. I had the grilled cheese sandwich and fries. Wonderful! Fairly priced for the area and very tasty. Would definitely recommend and will definietly go back. Beer, coffee and good food. Alot of fellow motorcyclist there today as well. Great place!

Dulce is wonderful- we had an unexpected stop here for lunch when car trouble had us waiting for a tow truck. She provided company, humor, and wonderful service while we enjoyed a delicious lunch! We had the hummus plate which in itself is a meal, along with the burger and pork tacos. The menu may be small but the food is not! Quality and quantity are well worth it not to mention the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Stop on your way down (or up) Highway 1 - you won't regret it. PS - Free wifi for patrons which is sort of like currency in these parts :)

Such lovely people and what a beautiful back deck! The service was fast and friendly. The salad I ordered was exactly what I wanted, and my husband had a chicken sandwich that he enjoyed, and it came with a really delicious fries. The food was fresh and delicious.

Cute restaurant in the heart of Big Sur. Surrounded by campgrounds and RV sites and cabins, it's the perfect way to start your day in nature. They offer housemade donuts and delicious avocado toast. There is indoor and outdoor seating, outdoor seating includes a few fire pits for an added "camping" feel.

Stopped off for lunch and was pleasantly surprised to find a refreshing selection of beer and lunch fare. Perfectly sized menu for a lunch stop, with nice selections for all tastes. The pork tacos were bangin and chicken tenders with accompanying fries were deliciously crisp. The cabin-style room was so cozy and welcoming; complete with comfortable couches and chairs... like sitting in a living room with a copper, wood-fire stove to warm up next to and big windows to bring the outside into the experience. Outside dining area is adorable with huge pines towering over for plenty of shade and perfect for an afternoon refreshment with different seating nooks. The host kept us accommodated with excellent service. I’d come back again and again.
