Great Lil store has mostly a bit of everything. Opens at 9am so don't go early. It's the only thing around so stop & get something u may need. Bit pricey but hey the convenience is appreciated. Only 7.5 miles on a crazy giant pot hole filled road to Iron Canyon lake camp grounds from pit stop

So over priced it's ridiculously over priced. The gas is so high. We're paying 548 a gal. He charges 6 bucks give or take. They have microwaves. A little section of meat. There meat is really good quality meat. It's a store we all run to when we're out in big bend right before they close. At 5pm. There alright. There lottery tickets pretty lucky. 3rd luckiest retailer of lotto tickets.

It's a great little store with a bit of everything. You're going to pay a little more, but the next closest place is 35 or 40 minutes up the hill.

I was surprised by how well stocked this place was! They have plenty of food, cold drinks, home supplies, and much more. I saw several options for organic food too. You can also buy gas here if you need. The shopkeeper was very nice, and we were glad we stopped

To most people the Pit Stop IS Big Bend. Community hub, gas station and grocery store. Doug runs it well and serves the community like only a long time resident could.

The Pit Stop Store has everything you could possibly imagine! Their motto is "We have it all at the Big Bend Mall." Groceries, food and treats for your fur babies, toiletries, flip flops, socks, towels, hardware section, cleaning supplies, school supplies, toys.....CAVIAR, wine and beer. Gas! You can tell the owner takes pride in his store and it shows. Honestly, if you forgot something for camping, a day out on the river or trip to the Iron Canyon Reservoir for fishing they are sure to have what you need. He also supports local artist by displaying their work for sale, the comunuty and school!!

I ordered coc au vin. Instead, I was served some chicken with a wine-based sauce, and vegetables. Whatever, it was pretty good with pbr.

Please take the time to update the store hours as you are not open until 6pm on Saturdays and thank you to whichever delightful employee rushed to lock the door at exactly 5:00pm as we were walking up.
