Pharmacy tech was extremely rude. I jokingly asked if he was having a bad day hoping he would realize he was being rude, instead he insulted me in Spanish not knowing I understood everything he said. I don't understand why no one at this pharmacy can smile? Or be polite? You're not working at a prison dealing with inmates, you are dealing with the general public. They are all ungrateful for their jobs!

Yikes this is by far the worst Walgreens I’ve been too in a long time. My cashier was an older lady who had some sort of vendetta against me and my girlfriend. She was just rude right from the get go. She just grabbed the item I was putting on the counter out of my hand, not even a greeting or anything. My girlfriend kept asking if she did anything wrong to this lady because of how rude and cold she was. She also smelled like pee, like really bad. Maybe it was just the counter or something but it was so strong I just wanted to get out of there.

By far the worst walgreens in southern California. The staff will just sit there for an hour while you wait for them to call you up. They are extremely disrespectful. God forbid they mess up on your prescription. They will deflect and blame you for their mistakes. They will yell at you if your persistent because they never fill your script when they say. I had to come in 3 times over a week just to have to wait 30 minutes for them to finally fill my script. The worst part is you can't complain to corporate because they are just as bad. Horrible place to get your prescription so don't even dare come here. Unless you enjoy being belittled.Thank You

It’s what you’d expect from a Walgreen. We went in for some laundry detergent, some flavored sparkling drinks, and a toy car for my son. They had everything we needed. We also signed up for the Walgreens Rewards at the check stand and got a small discount.

For the pharmacy, being closed on Sundays isn't a good way to maintain business. People need medication on Sunday too, I've always gone to Walgreens and was surprised to have to go through a huge ordeal to get my very sick daughters medicine. I tried calling the pharmacy and instead of saying closed... I was on the hold line.. for no one... for an hour. Then I drove there. Discovered they were closed. As a result, I had to transfer the script to CVS, and it will be an additional 4 hours to get my daughter her medication because I chose to be a Walgreens customer. Not for pharmacy anymore... I'll go to CVS from now on.

I love this Walgreens more than the disaster that is CVS, but the woman who works here named Samia is the absolute worst. She will ignore customers to talk to coworkers, interrupt her coworkers helping customers to discuss work things with them, and will blatantly not listen when anyone talks to her. Like today she snatched my card out of my hand to do Tap with it when the chip reader was not working, rather than just politely ask me to try tapping instead. Snatching my card like that? Seriously? She also ignored everything I said the entire transaction, and multiple times has hit cancel while I’m trying to type my phone number in. She’s the absolute worst.Everyone else there is pretty great though. Minus the pharmacy, they’re rude as hell.

I’ve gone to this Walgreens since it opened years ago. My only beef is with the pharmacy. It’s a nightmare. They’re understaffed and if you call them, no telling how long you’ll be on hold. My last call I waited 20 minutes and the person who was supposed to be helping me was extremely rude and hung up on me. The rest of Walgreens is great, though. If you try their pharmacy, don’t say you weren’t warned…

Worst Walgreens location I have ever experienced! The employees are unhelpful and downright rude. I came in with a toddler about to pee his pants and they wouldn't allow me to use the bathroom. Guess what!? My toddler watered your bushes! You're very welcome! If you are the #2 car at the drive through prepare for at least a 20 minute wait. Any further back in the line... Forget about it! And it's not like they go any faster if you go inside. Seriously Walgreens corporate office... Either hire competent workers or shut this location down!!! It's my insurance's preferred pharmacy but I'm ready to pay double to cvs because Big Bear Walgreens is absolutely terrible!!!

This pharmacy and it’s staff should be terminated immediately. They refused to fill my prescription stating it was illegal then filled it 30 minutes later and billed my insurance company. I had to call my Dr. and have it sent to CVS where they couldn’t fill it until Walgreens reversed it. I do not live here so I was stuck in Big Bear for 4 hours trying to rectify Walgreens lack of competency.

So grateful for our pharmacy/convenience store. Pharmacy is overworked & under staffed. Hard to find a time when there are no lines(drive thru and inside)! But... this store is always clean, well stocked and they have alcohol! For a long time all we had was a Sprous Ritz. What is a Sprous Ritz? Exactly!

I had a Covid test on Tuesday August 3. The “free” test (which was charged to my insurance co) results were supposed to be back in 48 hrs. The test according to the online system was lost and not delivered by Thursday, 40 hours later. I feel that I have Covid even tho I was vaccinated twice by April.I called the pharmacy where the test was taken. A rude young man apparently in the pharmacy gave me the “tough!” routine. I told him if I can’t get results maybe he should track the test. Nope. Can’t do that! I said you have no right to my pmt if you do not produce results which I need to see if I am contagious as I have been in bed very ill for a week. He hung up on me.After constantly checking online, I got a notice that my test was in on Friday. I got another notice that the results were in now. I checked the number and was told by the lab in Tennessee that my “requisition is not available.”This company is irresponsible, rude and the only Walgreen’s in town. I plan to take my business to CVS across the street. I have reported this to the district office with no reply. They have and seem to enjoy the worst reviews in town. Take your business elsewhere. There is better.

Don’t get a Covid test done here!! I had to take my 14 year old sone to get tested as he’s going to Universal Studios this week with his gf & her family. They require a negative test or proof of vaccine so we scheduled tests at Walgreens. They had a 20 question form we filled out prior to the test, in which one question asked about vaccination status. They administered the test and then I received an email 2 days later saying the test was ineffective. His girlfriends mom also received the same email. I honestly don’t know how or why that could possibly be. Don’t waste your time going here for testing especially if you need a negative test to go somewhere and have a deadline!

I definitely like Walgreens, I give 4 stars instead of 5 because they have reduced hours. Not long ago they failed to fill an Rx in one working day, I wasn't happy thats for sure. Otherwise still my choice over the Other pharmacy, for now.

Pharmacy issue only..Rude and blatantly annoyed with your call and/or presence, and if they discover you primarily use CVS you can forget about any help you hoped to get from this enthusiastic group.

We were visiting Big Bear for the Labor Day weekend. We forgot to bring our medications. We called this Walgreens for a 2 days refill and Nick at the pharmacy was very helpful, guided us how to get the insurance pay for it(since our Walgreens back in our city already paid for the current prescription)

Scheduled a flu shot, got up to the counter and a man “helped” me. Was extremely rude and could not figure out how to put my insurance info in even though he was given the insurance card itself. Stick with CVS, I should have but they didn’t have any appointments available, learned my lesson.

The pharmacy is scandalous. I had to wait 24 minutes to drop off the prescription. They promised that the drug (simple antibiotic) would be ready in 30 minutes. Exactly 30 minutes later I went back, but I had to wait 26 minutes before I got there. It was reported that the drug will be ready in an another hour, come back later. When I asked for the trust, because I didn't want to leave the window, they called the policeman. Another 11 minutes later I got the medicine. The pharmacist refused to talk to me. This was already the case for many years. I will transfer the entire family account to CVS.

Had a very poor pharmacy experience just now......horrible customer service at the Walgreens Big Bear Lake pharmacy.My son broke his arm last night and we spent 6.5 hrs in the emergency room to get his arm set and needed to fill his pain medication script this morning before we drove home.The blonde woman who was helping me lacked any compassion and told me it would be 1.5 hrs for his prescription to be filled. Terrible attitude and said “Hey it’s a Monday morning...” and could care less about the situation. There was an army of ppl working in the pharmacy & yet she said “she’s alone”. I could tell she had no intention of helping us in a timely manner. I have a whole car full of my family and dog waiting. I walked out totally disgusted.This could’ve been handled so much better....you guys are in the healthcare business for heavens sake. Truly a coaching opportunity with that employee.

Went in to buy supplies and needed to use the restroom. They have two with signs saying not for the public. I asked a lady if I could use them because I was a customer, she told me they are not for me, and told me to go to Stater Bros. Put all my stuff down and left. Horrible service! Stater Bros was great tho!

Should not be allowed to be a pharmacy. The Big Bear, CA location has decided they don’t need to be open for 3 Days. Hope I don’t have a medical emergency because this company has decided to not allow me access to my medication for 3 days. If you can’t stay open to provide medical care then don’t be a pharmacy
