Petco is great , a little high priced on food and stuff , but they pretty much have everything you need.Zeus and I appreciate the friendly staff, they care ❤July 2023 i just brought Zeus in to Petco for a bath and nail trim , Britney did an amazing job !!!His nails could have ripped an elephant hide , now they are nice short ,and perfectly smooth. His coat is so soft and healthy looking , it was worth every penny 💕

Buyers beware! Check your bank statements. I went in and purchased some treats and a dog toy. When i went to pay the female employee said that my payment didn’t go thru and had me do it again. Then she said the payment went thru. Well my statement shows I was charged twice for my items. I contacted the bank immediately to have these charges reversed. Just be vigilant. That is why I am posting this.

I was in Big Bear, Ca. For a get away. Our dog was recovering from Pancreatitis and he started throwing up the food the Vet put him on, so I went to Petco and this young woman ( I wish I could remember her name) was so helpful. Her dog had sufferd from the same thing and understood how important it was to find a low-fat food. My dog has other medical issues that made the search even more difficult. She took the time with me and her knowledge of the different foods was impressive. All the staff in that store were impressive and very friendly. I’ve been to a lot of Petco’s and this store is the best I’ve been in.

The people at petco are amazing in Big Bear. We always visit when we do laundry and they are always super professional. We always buy our dog food there. They have a huge variety of products and are always helpful. They also have training program for dog and owner. Can't wait to attend it myself. I need a re-education on dog training and I think its going to start at petco of Big Bear.

I ordered the flavored tea, as I always have done, at this location and others. What I was served definitely wasn't their flavored tea, which tasted old. But when I asked to exchange for the regular tea, you could definitely tell it was old and not made fresh.Another customer complained about his food,, received his money back and said he would never go back.Definitely appeared to be under new owners and employees.Staff was very friendly.

Product review: Sophresh refillable cat litter is horrible. Don't waste your time. It clumps, but tracks horribly throughout the house. Every morning i wake up and my couch is filled with cat litter, it disgusting. Spend the extra few bucks to get brand name litter, it clumps better and WAY less tracking.

Ashley was amazing and such a great help! My dog was recently hospitalized and I had to find him a new kind of food. She literally went through the store helping me look at the fat content of food so I could choose the best one. I really appreciated her and the fact that she went above and beyond to help me. The employees are very helpful! We came in looking for a specific dog food and it seemed to be out of stock. However, one of the employees saw that they still had a bag in the system and she was able to find it! Our pup will be very happy. She also let us know that new shipments are always in on Thursday. This is a small Petco but they have the essentials and great customer service!

I am very impressed with the customer service I have recieved at your store. The employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. My dog just got flees for his first time and the girls knew exactly what to recommend. I will only shop at your store for now on for any pet supplies I need. I also love your rewards program. Thank you to all 3 sales girls who worked on Sunday July 18th in the afternoon.

Store is great, employees helpful. Don't really like the mesh mask I saw on the cashier. It was see thru with rhinestones & they might as well have been wearing no mask. Honestly, mesh masks? The other employees had real masks, at least, and they were really informative when I asked questions. But that mesh mask is an insult.

Smaller but well stocked, and in Big Bear, that's a win. Staff were friendly and helpful, found what I needed for my big boof easily.Only wish list item would be for them to carry BIG dog trail packs and life jackets. They do carry them, but the largest size in stock was *just* too small for my broad chested Am Staff. I know, I know. It's more of a specialty item. Still 5/5 stars.

The people in this store are really special. Not only are they super helpful and encourage you to ask questions, but they truly love animals. It shows. It's a great store. Even though prices are higher than some other stores, I shop here to support those people, as they support the local rescues in a big way.
