It gets so crowded in here, as a first time visitor it can be a bit overwhelming. There are 2 counters, the one in the front sells fudge, caramelized apples, and everything chocolate. The counter in the back sells ice cream. The line moves quickly. It was maybe 10 minutes from the back of the line to the front. The caramelized apple was great!

This is one of the best candy shops I've been in, and I'm finding that hard to come to terms with because I've lived in very large cities with dozens of sweet shops. Big Bear simply does it better in this case, and puts all of them to shame.I highly recommend trying their white chocolate covered s'mores marshmellow offering. They also have some extremely tasty candy apples, and a large selection of other great candies, fudges, and chocolates. The shop seems small, but it's brimming with a really great variety of treats!

Had roamed around the village area near Big Bear Lake. This is a must visit shop. Liked the custom made chocolates and ice cream. It’s worth a visit as it is home made and very cost effective. Loved the items!

When I get to this store, I am going to eat everything! I mean everything! You all can haggle amongst yourselves about whatever crumbs I leave behind. Or you can find another store. I am so totally going to eat this one! Every scoop of ice cream! Every chocolate-covered Twinkie! Every. Thing. I may even eat some doors and tables! The goodies in this store are devastatingly, stunningly delicious!!!

Amazing selections of fudge, caramel apples, chocolate dip dessert, gummy, and ice cream. There is something for everyone in the family. Also my first time seeing such large selections of no sugar chocolate. I bought some sugar free dark chocolate with almond. Yummy!!!Also got a 10% discount because we ate at Saucy Mama’s before buying the fudge and chocolate.

When I was a kid living in Big Bear, my dad would take me here regularly, often after we saw a movie. I'd always get something dumb like candy and ice cream you can get in a store. I don't miss Big Bear at all, but lots of places I miss going to. Went here for my birthday for the first time in probably 15 years. I got a PB cup, PB fudge swirl, and PB crunch. Absolutely delicious treats, I wish wasn't so picky and I had tried more of it growing up.

We liked the chocolate, interesting to try.They make it fresh and it tastes good. Perfect for small bites.(The chocolate is sold per pound for $22 per pound)

Great stop for some sweet treats in town.They have some indiciaally packaged as well as by weight Variety of candies, popcorn, ice cream, fudge, caramel apples, many size jaw breakers, chocolate covered goodies, and the like. Some beverages too.

Would be a 5 star if not for the service. My family and I have been coming up to Big Bear for over 20 years and we always stop into this shop. It’s the best candy store in town. But the staff nearly ruined our recent experiences.PRODUCT & PRICESThe store is small, so the choices are limited, but they still offer a good variety of everything: kid’s hard candy, decadent & unique fudges and caramel apples, delicious ice cream, and sugar free chocolates. What they lack in quantity, they make up for in overwhelming quality. The prices are surprisingly low considering the quality of the candy.ATMOSPHEREThe decor is a never ending Santa’s Workshop. From a working train that circles overhead to the clever sweets-related quips on the walls, this store will ignite the imagination of any visitor. It has a small-town, support-the-local-shop feeling. There are large windows where customers waiting in line can look in on the candy-making process. No seating inside but there are plenty of low walls lining lovely flower beds outside the shop. There are also public dining tables in a walkway a few stores up the street.STAFFDuring our week-long trip to Big Bear, my family came in and purchased candy/ice cream/fudge at this store 4 different times (including some candies to take back home). There were at least 3 different staff members who served us and each of them were cold and unfriendly. They made us feel like we were an inconvenience and unfortunately, made the experience as a whole far less enjoyable. We didn’t remember the staff ever being unpleasant on our previous visits. If the candy weren’t so good, I wouldn’t be coming back to this store during our next visit.TO SUM UPThere are other candy stores in town that are bigger with more variety, but this shop is a true local treasure with high quality product. If the staff can learn to offer a smile to their customers, they’d be a 5 star shop.

I came here on a Wednesday afternoon with my family, the girls there were really nice to our family. We ended up getting two Ice cream cones. Parents loved it !.we got a cookie ice cream sandwich, and a cheesecake ice cream sandwich (look at pictures below for reference). They dipped the cheesecake, ice cream vanilla in warm chocolate and add peanuts to it. 😍

Omg this place is amazing! They have so much in here that u don't know what to get from candy to caramel apple to ice cream. What I likes the most was they had sugar free chocolate.

The line to order was chaotic, not very orderly. The girl took my order , rang me up and handed me my treats. I walked out with my friend and decided to check we had everything. We were shorted 1 thing. My friend went back in to get what she was shorted. Soon I went back in to see what was taking so long. The girl behind the counter took all of our treats back, checked a bunch of receipts and had another co worker help her. Then she asked me for my change back but barely remembered I paid with cash not a card. She had charged me correctly but forgotten an item. FINALLY got the correct treats so we took it and left. I drive 50 minutes home and open my bags. Guess what, I’m now missing something. After all that, the incompetent girl still messes up and shorts me. I never write bad reviews but driving all the way home to find you don’t have everything you paid for is such a bummer.

Everyone in North Pole Fudge and Ice Cream is happy , even though the waiting line can be long, because they surrounded by sugar! The shop is small, but they have a huge selection of sweet treats to select from. Overall, this small sweet shop is fantastic and friendly.

Love this candy and fudge store. They have just about everything you can imagine. We had the chocolate walnut fudge. It was very tasty. A little on the expensive side, but very well worth it.

Flavors aren't overwhelmingly sweet and have really good flavors that don't taste artificial.Wafers are crispy 👌 perfect.Expect a bit of a wait time on peak times of the day but definitely worth the waitz the staff is friendly and efficient.

Prices and servings are decent, Cute bakery shop with lots of chocolate varieties including sugar free. You'll find ice cream near the rear of the shop where they offer the choice in making it into a shake. Unfortunately there isn't many flavors to choose from. Establishment gets very busy and crowded fast, making it hard to navigate through. Definitely not for people who are claustrophobic.

Love this spot! Place is a must visit on a cold crisp night in Big Bear! So many good sweats! My favorites are the chocolate covered nutterbutters, chocolate covered Graham crackers and gummy bears. The milk shakes send the root beer floats are good. Hot coco is good here but small done in like 5 sips but love the vibe here!

Upon entering, my nose was soothed with the delicious smell of a thousand sweet delicacies within. For a moment, methought I had been taken away to dine in the kitchens of Valhalla with all the great gods. My eyes glistened as they slowly rolled around the shop taking in the wonderful fudge and apples bathed in caramel. The Cookies & Cream fudge was enough to make me throw my arms in the air and sing praises to Odin all night long. Come! and gather at this shop! Taste of it's sweets and be changed for the rest of your days.

Great ice cream! So creamy and delicious. All of the flavors I’ve tried taste like real ingredients rather than artificial flavors. The waffle cone was unbelievably crispy. The prices are pretty reasonable too. I’m a fan!
