We went on a Saturday morning on a nice day, so the long line wasn't really a surprise. The atmosphere is really cozy with lots of seating (upstairs and outdoors as well). Even though it was really busy, the line was moving decently fast, and the turnaround on drinks wasn't too bad either. You can tell that they're locally focused and in touch with the community. Also, drink prices were reasonable as well. Matcha Latte was good, not grainy, not too milky, with a nice earthy flavor. Check this place out for a morning drink fix

I’m a local and am always trying new places for coffee and always stay away fromStarbucks so I thought I’d stop by Moonridge since it’s so close. The area in general is very nice and I absolutely loved the atmosphere. There was lots of seating, nice decor and upstairs area. From the looks of it, there seems to be a lots of food, snack and drink options. The service was good and pretty fast once you actually put in your order.This place was packed so there was at least a 30 minute wait standing in the long line as you can see in the photos. The people here were mainly travelers. I didn’t talk to any locals while I was there.I ordered a dirty chai which was good and a turkey sandwich. I was not happy with the options for the sandwich. I asked if they put anything other than mayonnaise on it and they said no. I asked if there were any additional sauces or seasoning and it was just salt and pepper, not even mustard. I’m not trying to be hard on this place, but come on. It’s 2024, we can do better than unseasoned food lol especially for the price. Like, give me som chipotle mayo at least. It was the most bland thing I’ve ever eaten - luckily I grabbed some packets of hot sauce and the salt and pepper which sort of helped.So, so far the food was unexciting and a waste of money in my opinion. The coffee was fine but the wait sucked. With the line and amount of people, it was hard to even get to the seating that was available.So, if you’re in a rush and want a nice quiet spot to relax, this is not for you lol If you want to wait and find a good place to perch yourself for a few hours and do work, seems like a good spot but not for anyone in a hurry.

A cool coffee spot!Was packed when we arrived with a line out the door but the crowd was handled quickly.Coffee was good and so we're the snacks/ baked treats.There's a good amount of seating also which includes an upstairs area which was quieter than the downstairs.Prices weren't too bad either for the areaParking: Only street parking nearby

High score in all areas for Moonridge, a super cozy coffee shop!I can tell the workers/owners put a great deal of care and thought into everything here. The menu is so diverse, there are so many creative and delicious specialty drinks. I had a perfect blend of honey, white chocolate, and espresso for my morning coffee!The atmosphere is so cozy and inviting, and they have a great outside seating area in warmer months.I would love to come back soon and try their food items as well!

Extremely high priced. We payed 50$ for two avocado toasts and two coffees.The wait was forever.The good thing there's patio seating for dog owners we really liked that.The back patio was not very inviting and actually pretty dirty. The floors were covered in cigarette buds. Kind of concerning especially since we're in EXTREME fire Danger.Parking: Tons of parking in the back

I am not sure I have ever waited as long as I did for this coffee. I paid $24 for a pastry, two 20 oz coffees and one 12 oz. While I like the coffee that I got, it does lack flavor slightly. It's above average coffee but absolutely not my favorite. The wait is extremely long and it's not their fault AT ALL. They just simply have a lot of people coming in for coffee and they're doing their best to tackle the orders quickly. I went at 9:30 AM on a Saturday and it honestly took about 30 minutes for me to get my coffee after I waited about 15 to get to my place in line. Again, they have a high demand and I don't know that they should be docked stars for being busy, obviously people like it.They have a large menu with an additional seasonal menu to choose from. I also got a pumpkin spice pastry cake and its pretty tasty. I am here visiting, but if I were here longer, I'd spend more time exploring other coffee shops before I came back here because the wait itself makes this not worth the adventure for me. But I'd gladly come on a day when It was not busy. It also is not a good place to work or study when it is busy because there is a lot of chaos and it gets tightly packed because of all of the customers waiting.Definitely worth trying for the experience and if you have time and maybe have a friend to chat with, make it happen.

We were extremely disappointed with customer service, and it was our first time visiting Big Bear. we wanted coffee and something sweetVery local instead of Starbucks or any other franchise companies. We were like, dammm, we should have done the opposite.

Loved it, cannot recommend this place highly enough. All about community and they make great quality food and drinks with great service. It is absolutely buzzing. They believe in community spirit and can help yourself to a ticket off the board to be redeemed for what is on the ticket. I had a chilli coffee which was delectable and also the soup and BLT special which I thought was great value. My friends had the chilli con carne in sour dough and it was also divine.

This is everything I want in a coffee shop!The staff is super nice, even when the place is slammed. The coffee is top notch, and their food / pastries are delicious. The interior atmosphere and decor are very welcoming, and the outdoor searing is super cute as well.I'll be back again when I'm in town next!

This place was pretty good. Good bagels with cream cheese. Had the matcha latte and it was pretty tasty. Not the best I’ve ever had but pretty good. They couldn’t do an egg sandwich on a bagel which was sad so deducting a star for that but overall no other complaints!

This is the best coffee shop in Big Bear! The best micro-roasts and beans offered in town, by Sisters. Very reasonable prices on all items. Drinks include coffees, tea, specialty lattes, craft sodas, and more, many of which come with free refills. Food includes some sandwiches, avocado toasts, egg dishes, and a vast collection of baked fresh in house pastries, cookies, cakes, breads etc etc! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, they remember my name when I come in! Very clean all around, spacious, many seating options inside and outside, with a cozy cabin vibe! Great for socializing or working, a must stop!Food & drinks: Gray options at reasonable prices, many baked items are made in house

We go to Moonridge every time we visit Big Bear. They have amazing drinks and pastries and are very friendly and helpful! The place is large with many comfortable places to sit inside and out. I absolutely recommend you try it on your visit!Pictured: The light Snow cream soda

Loved this cute little coffee shop! I got a white chocolate iced mocha it was pretty tasty. It was not busy at all and the folks inside were very friendly. If definitely come back here whenever I was in the area I’d love to try some of the other things they have here.

My husband and I had a delicious breakfast. The pumpkin bread was sweet without being overwhelming. The croissant sandwich was crisp and buttery on the outside, with a generous helping of turkey. Their seasonal drinks were locked in on spice ratios. To top it all off we sat in front of the fire on a comfortable leather couch and enjoyed the pleasant interior.Just be sure you come in early on weekends. By 9am the line was out the door and down the walkway.

This is usually my favorite spot for breakfast and coffee, but they had an off day. Front counter staff was kind of cold and didn’t tell me that food was going to take 20 min until after I ordered. The bathroom is usually clean, but someone refilled the soap by just mixing in water. I was here two days ago and that same bottle was regular soap.
