Everything you could ever want is inside this little market and the prices are incredibly reasonable. I needed socks and found socks in 3 different stores before I reached this store, the socks were $12 and up per pair in the other stores and they were so ugly that I knew I would only wear them the one time. Then I found this store. 3 pairs of socks for $5., my son got a charger for his ph (which he didn't need but Ibwas so excited about the stuff in this store that I just let him get it). They had firewood, games, snacks, food, trinkets...all kinds of stuff. Trust me. If you go to this store you WILL find something you want, need, or just tempted to buy.

I got a few items & he charged under his criteria, things that i for sure could have found for $1 but he charged me 5 times more than reasonable price. The Cashier guy was smoking in front of my kids inside of the store.THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU GO SHOP AT THAT MINI MARKET.Super ExPeNsIvE!!!!! Paid $104 for a basket of common groceries. That i am still mad i actually purchased. Not knowing how bad this experience would be & in need of simple necessities for a cabin stay. Lots of items were expired about a month ago!!!!! Extremely Dusty, he looks at the item and charges way more he doesn’t have a scanner he just puts down the price. The prices are out of regulation control!!!!!!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE

The big old woman is super disrespectful and extremely unprofessional. She is a drunk and when your trying to check out all you can smell is alcohol from her breathe . Super unprofessional.

Talk about price gouging!!! You may need a personal loan to shop here! I lived in a resort town for 20 years and I've never seen anything this expensive! We put everything back as did the group in front of us. No prices marked on any items, that should have been the first clue. We were there during the first measurable snow of the season, on a weekend. Due to no price tags on items I'm sure they charge the maximum price they can get at any specific time of the day, week, month or year.

As a local; in an emergency I would only pay extra for the same items you can get at Stater's or the Dollar Tree. They sell a lot of items that you can buy at the Dollar Tree and then they charge $3.00. Example: spices, small bottle of vinegar. I know they have other items; toothpaste, brushes etc. Anything you would need in an emergency and then they raise the prices. I have seen the owners in the Dollar Tree before buying a lot of these kinds of items and yes they are all for resale once you buy them from the Dollar Tree. I believe they own the Boulder Bay Store as well; so they would sell these same items there...

I went over for some normal breakfast items eggs bacon milk hash browns Etc was $50. If I had gone to Stater Brothers it probably would have been maybe at the most $12They do not even post their prices on anything, so you don't know until after it's been scanned. For a store that's as busy as they are they should have much lower prices they still would make a lot of money. When it's snowing it's probably better to risk your life and drive all the way to Stater Brothers or Vons.To charge $5 for a gallon of milk is insane. I don't drink so I can imagine what they're charging for the hard liquor. They should go to jail for stealing from people.I thought price gouging was illegal.

I'm a local to start off with. Been in Big Bear Lake for about 5 years now. I tell everyone what happened to me here, they completely added money to my total and I caught then In the act. Every transaction they will not scan your item, manually enter in a price, then they are unable to print out a receipt that has each item priced, it's a total priced receipt which is absolutely worthless because you can't see individual item prices for what they charged you. On slow weeks up here in big bear lake, they smoke inside the store behind the counter. On top of all this, I have caught these employees buying goods at the local dollar store and reselling them in their store for up to 4 times the price they paid. Its a family organization and im sick of this place and how they do business and treat my neighbors and family. I will never step foot in this place again.Ps: same owner owns boulder bay liquor, Lakeview liquor.

I have personally seen these people shop at the dollar store and at Stater Bros then put the merchandise on their shelves and charge double for it!! Their receipts are a joke and have bought something from there and be charged one price then the following week buy the same thing and be charged a higher price!! Also tired of being hit on by the clerk who has a girlfriend!!! This place sucks and should be investigated!! Will never go there again!! TOURISTS BEWARE!!

Highway robbery. Forced to use the overpriced store due to location. People that run it own multiple stores throughout the mountain and change their prices for the same thing depending on location. They also use unpaid family child labor and can get nasty with, threaten to fight, and ban longtime customers who complain about prices.

When you're at Big Bear lake there aren't too many places to get groceries. This was the closest store to our vacation home so we stopped in for breakfast items. Boy! Were they OVERPRICED! Next time, I'll stock up at the grocery store a few miles away before I head home. They also have very little variety and basic items. Of course they have plenty of liquor options though. lol

Great selection of craft beers and tobacco products. Perfect for any missing products at your party. Or a good place to start the day as well

They could try a little harder for better product, cleaner store. Lacks professionalism for location. Things cost enough, you think one would reinvest, invest in their assets..
