We stopped in here for another great dollar store experience. The store is actually significantly larger than I expected it to be. You have household, spices, soups, condiments, and more. You can come into the store to get candy. They literally have two rows of candy. I also have a ton of frozen section 2 they have some really nice Ben & Jerry’s ice cream or Breyers ice cream. You could get some pizzas. They have a whole party section. If you’re throwing a party you can come here and grab all the supplies that you need. You can also get your cleaning supplies here. You can also get healthcare supplies here. I’m really impressed at the size of the store and everything that they have to offer here.

Amazing dollar tree when I was able to look at merchandise.The shelves were bare, in the majority of the aisles! I'm not sure if it is because the company does not understand that they need more workers now that peak season is here and locals and visitors no longer have Kmart. I found Ben and Jerrys ice cream and simply lemonade. Two items I buy weekly at the grocery store but at the dollar tree for $3?! I will be visiting them again very soon, and hopefully, the 2nd time is a charm!

Some of the worst employees at a buisness I've seen. The store is a mess, the boxes are always just left out about the store, if you want to file a complaint or have a problem with your order, and the manager is out, you are stuck waiting as employees refuse to help whatsoever and will laugh you out of the store.

Today I witnessed the most vile display of elder bullying I have ever seen in my living days.The cashier and the 'manager ' are deserving of contempt for the way they treated this old woman in line ahead of me.I hope they get exactly the same treatment and worse when they are old.They should feel so ashamed for snapping at her and not helping her get her groceries to her car. They were so cruel I was welling up with tears watching them talk to her that way.(5 stars bc all low star reviews get taken down)We helped the old lady because they refused. She was confused and humiliated .These men are not men and deserve to rot. SHAME.Go vape you chinless wonders.I'm sure that old lady was working for the war effort when she was your age. You give nothing to society.

This is the spot for party supplies, cheap kitchen utensils, craft supplies, and a bunch of random stuff! If you're just visiting and forgot something like a toothbrush, socks, sunglasses, etc... $1-1.50 for pretty much everything.

Worst experience for a person traveling from out of town manager is very rude the lady in front of me asked about for little plastic weight for balloons and her response was go get it yourself and gave her attitude If you don't like your job don't work there You can't just keep being rude to everyone just because you are having a bad day 02/10/2024

There's really nothing in the store and there's only one cashier most days. On this day you can only use card and no cash. I did find some Halloween 🎃 cups, but nothing else really. They just need more help.

THIS STORE AND THESE EMPLOYEES MAKE BIG BEAR LOOK BAD!!!! DROVE HERE BECAUSE THEIR DOOR AND WEBSITE SAYS OPEN UNTIL 7:00!!! It’s 6:50 on Mother’s day, they are open, but this woman will not let me in! A long line inside!!!! THIS STORE AND THESE EMPLOYEES MAKE BIG BEAR LOOK BAD!

Good selection & merchandising. The dollar store's merchandise in Big Bear Lake, California has turned into a $1.25, $2.00, $3.00, $5.00 & $6.00 store. In addition, their shelves are approaching 50% stocked once again & with some good products which they didn't have prior. Great job guys & gals. Keep up your hard work. It is very noticeable about all the "pushing" out of products/merchandising to the floor y'all have accomplished.

The manager marin was the worse experience ever. "Karen overload" I was buying a box of crackers with 4 or 5 small individual packaging in a box. When the other employee was scanning she ask manager and manager starts opening my package say NOPE the are to be sold single. So I asked wat about the cookies and beef jersey sold in BOXES with individual packs all those need to be opened too? She got mad told me " cuz that's the way it is and I will refuse service", so I ASKED HE TO PUT THE BOX CUTTER DOWN while haveing a upset tone...she flipped out and snatched my food and told the other employees her the phone to call police ...I said go for it I will wait cuz I'm filing a complaint with BBB for false advertising and manager would not honor the advertisement price. And will not allow me to purchase my 9 year old daughter's (who was watching it) snacks! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICES FROM MANAGER EVER! Whole store watching and my kid didn't get her snacks.smh. I recommend to avoid this location bye all means.

So shocked to find this store almost empty. The help said they are waiting for the shipments to come in stuff waiting in containers out in the ocean on ships. This place is your "go to" place when they are filled. They have a little bit of everything and it's very fun to walk the isles. I miss the shelves being full and the creative stuff they have. I will patiently wait.*PLEASE don't go out of business.

The stuff was really nice and welcoming. The store itself as a lot more variety than I typically see in Dollar Tree. It is my go-to store for munchies because of the wide variety it has and it has a pretty good gardening section too.

The rudest manager ever! I have no idea who made her manager but they should be fired right with her, the last place she should be working with is people she should be behind closed doors. My daughter refuses to go into the store if she sees her. She makes big bear look horrible

Convenient to go if low on money for the week but always understaffed and not always stocked. Edit: had to drop the review rating. The store hours online and posted at store are misleading. Today 6/26/2022 wasnt even 4:45 pm and the store was locked and closed for the day though it's posted as being open until 7pm. no explanation was left for customers to acknowledge the change in hours or whats going on. Terribly managed no wonder theres a shortage of people that want to work or shop there.

This store and the store manager are horrible they're always closed an hour or more early for no reason, they barely have any cashiers, and the manager loves to yell at clients. I don't usually call corporate to complain but I had to on this store due to the ridiculous service they provide and as they choose to schedule their own hours regardless of the posted hours.

They have a lot of stuff which is great. That's where the greatness stops. Most often long line and wait times. Not enough employees working which makes the ones that are stressed. Rude and short tempered employees. My 2 stars are for great stock only.
