I had returned from Walgreens that was a minute away after not finding the item that I was looking for & was greeted with such amicable kindness from Greg located at CVS store location 42136 Big Bear Blvd, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315. I must admit that this CVS location has marvelous staff members & they have both made my experience here fantastic. I want to highlight Greg, for he is truly phenomenal. He was so pleasant & went above & beyond my expectations from others I have ever encountered & expected from other team member associates whom I have met who work in customer service in general. Greg has an incredible work ethic and displayed extraordinary customer service. I had to call over the phone - their CVS store location, so I can learn & find out his name to properly address & give him the credit that he certainly deserves with this positive review. Even when Greg answered my phone call, I was still greeted by his wonderful customer service. I cannot thank Greg enough for the kindness & genuine joy that he radiates to his customers for I especially overheard & witnessed his amicable & hospitable interactions not only to me, but also towards among other customers he has assisted before helping me with my transaction. Greg truly deserves a raise & not only a raise, but especially a promotion! Again, thank you so much, Greg, for existing. Greg is truly a blessing; I greatly appreciate him for being a ray of sunshine & a breath of fresh air to those around him for he truly made my whole day as I vacation up here at Big Bear Lake for a week memorable. I'll definitely return to this CVS pharmacy located at Big Bear Lake when I vacation back in town here again, thanks to Greg.

Horrifically bad customer service. I was given the incorrect medication by the head pharmacist Amy and I hadn’t noticed it didn’t match the prescription until I got to my car. When I walked back in, she claimed I could not have the correct medication because I walked away from the counter. I only got my correct medication through my doctor calling AND reporting her mistake to a corporate level. I just wanted my medication that was prescribed to me!! Not the incorrect one she mistakenly gave me!! The store manager also didn’t care, because the pharmacists are apparently independent from the actual store.In addition, this location’s workers are all extremely incompetent. Like today, my mother asking the cashier for a specific item thats held behind the register. She claimed it was at the pharmacy. But the pharmacists told my mother it was at the register, not the pharmacy. So the cashier rolled her eyes and said she would go get it. She disappeared for several minutes, came back, and then asked my mom (who was standing in the same spot waiting for her) if she had found it yet. What?? Where did she even go?? My mother got so annoyed she said she’d come back for it tomorrow and left.Anyways, don’t go here unless you literally have no other options.

CVS chain has become a complete joke. Their failure to staff the cash registers, has led to nothing but frustration to shoppers. The lack of CSR in the front of store can lend itself to many other problems as well, i.e. theft. It's no wonder the unemployment level is so high. I bet that the lost revenue from theft and frustrated shoppers would be equal to hiring more staff. Very disappointed.

Horrible customer service. I found out we needed propane and my husband bought a size too big and spent over $80. The propane was unopened, unused, and sealed, yet the staff refused to give me a refund. I purchased the propane at 3:00pm and went to return it at 3:30pm. They saw me purchase it! Ridiculous and a waste of money. They didn’t even offer me a credit. Do not shop here.

The staff was so rude to me at the pharmacy! Wow. Not American values! What happened to customer service? I think it’s the mountain. Very little staffing. But just poor hires. I think CVS could have done a better job at recruiting though.Staff basically started yelling at me that is a holiday weekend and there was nothing they could do. This is after sitting on hold for 10 minutes on the phone.

They tend to treat customers as burdensome interrupters in whatever is more important then us. When a line forms, it seems as if they are triggered to finally respond. "Friendly" seems to be a word that doesn't apply.

Chris is very helpful. The pharmacist Laura, the tech Elizabeth, and the girl of asian decent that had no name tag are extremely rude, and they don't even try to hide it. She must think that if she doesn't have a name tag, people can't call her out for her blatantly rude behavior. They ladies seemed annoyed that I was waiting on the chairs for my medication. A very uncomfortable experience, especially considering I was getting medication for three broken ribs and extensive nerve damage. No empathy or any attempt to be polite, except from Chris. Go to Walgreens.

I don't typically post reviews.. if I like your store I will come back & continue to spend my money there. Which WAS the case for the CVS up here, until today!! I am so frustrated and saddened by the customer service I received today, not even from a store employee but THE STORE MANAGER!!When I went in to exchange an item & purchase another, I kindly explained twice that I'd like to exchange one item, which I had the receipt for..& purchase the other..I also added that a few, (not ALL) of my rewards could be used & specified which ones I'd like to use but apparently it was in one ear & out the other! To my surprise after getting back home, I found on my receipt that I was charged for the exchange & also swiped of all my rewards!! Bare with me, this is a long one.. when I called to explain my frustration & why, I was rudely interrupted with an "excuse me" & & asked" what do you want me to do about it?!" So I went back into the store where he proceeded to put his finger in my face and tell me how he didn't appreciate the way I talked to him after pulling his mask down to do so!! I willingly left & will NEVER be back unless something is fixed. Guess I need to call corporate!

CVS is alright , it gets busy.In my opinion prescriptions take longer to fill from start to finish than Wallgreens. They both have really helpful employees.CVS pharmacy closes @ 8:00 pm an hour earlier than they used to.Now that covid has cooled off a little the drive-thru isn't backed up with testing, thank God 🙏

Little old and run down with a weird, narrow parking lot. It did have two entrances which made it easier to get into. Self check out was good because the nice cashier was by himself. I opted for self checkout - there were two, but I didn't know that, so I waited for the lady who was already there to finish before I went over. The poor cashier was still helping the one person. They had what I needed and it's CVS so you can use your CVS card and get a good deal!

If I could rate 0 than that would be great. I’m always on hold. So when you call them you better have at least one hour to kill. I’ve been hung up then when I call back I have to wait at least one hour. I hate this pharmacy but stuck due to insurance.

Nothing against the store itself as it's like any other cvs.I just wanted to note that none of the pharmacists were wearing masks and I saw one of them putting pills into a bottle with no gloves or mask on, by counting them out in her hands.This doesn't seem like the correct way to do this during a pandemic especially when it could be easily be spread exactly in this manner. I would prefer my medical prescriptions not come with a side of covid or whatever else she has on her hands. I saw her answering phones and helping customers without washing hands, then touching pills people would be putting in their mouths. Maybe this is customary practices but it doesn't seem right to me!

I found your employees to be extremely caring and helpful. I actually went to Walgreens first for a very simple purchase of nail clippers and was treated rudely with a line of 12 people in front of me. I left there and came to your store. I have already shared with 6 people my experience. I can think of no reason why I would ever go to Walgreens before coming to your CVS. I'm relatively new on the mountain but am very influential with my friends and am popular on Google maps. My opinion matters and you are going to be highly recommended by me. Your staff was kind, helpful and there wasn't much of a wait. I appreciate you and promise I will cause some Walgreens business to be shifted your way.

WAYYYY better then the Walgreens up here. Pharmacy is actually open during hours you can pick them up when u have a job and they just don’t randomly shut down for days so that u can’t get your meds. Fairly quick service and a good store selection. If you have scripts that you actually want filled correctly and be able to pick them up, have it go here.

Greg is the best associate I have ever met at a CVS. Nice guy, very knowledgeable. Even suggested the generic to save a few bucks!!! Best part.....he introduced me to care pass. Now I've been using CVS for work as I work with medical offices and sometimes they need supplies for a training so I stock up at a nearby CVS. I have spent hundreds doing this and just found out I could get $10 off and 20% off CVS brands!!!! First time ANY associate has told me about this and it's been out for a little bit! I jumped all over it and told Greg he is a damn good Salesman. You guys should keep that man at all cost cause I will visit this CVS whenever I'm on the mountain and will be looking for Greg the next time I need help!

I've currently been on hold 16 minutes and prior 27 minutes. I just hung up cause I couldn't wait any longer. Last month they also tried giving me double prescriptions. Its a good thing im honest. I just moved up here and am very disappointed. I'll be changing to Walgreens.

A great place to get your scripts filled with a wide variety of items available in the store…..you don’t have to go vons and face the crowds if you only need a few things. They also have self checkout!

I called the pharmacey and asked to speak to a pharmacist regarding an rx dosing. The woman told me "she just went to lunch. Call back in maybe a half hour." I then asked if there was someone else I could ask a question to. Her reply" I just told you. She went to lunch. There allowed to have lunch breaks you know!" This was the Big Bear Blvd location.
