Travis and Liz saved me! I was in a bind and need fast help for on of my tenants and they came to my rescue! I had a tenant that specifically airbnb my home for the spa and it wasn’t working. They came right out, fixed the problem and saved my Super-host status!! I will be a forever loyal customer. I signed up for their weekly service and now I know I am in good hands.. Thank you!!! We've used Bear Valley Pools and Spas for over a year now. At first they totally forgot to put us on the schedule and our spa went unattended for a month +. They also messed up their billings and back billed us for a handful of months at once. About 6 months ago we noticed the spa wasn't really getting cleaned, and wasn't being used either; we saw the tech was in and out in less than 2 minutes (no exaggeration) and when we brought this to their attention they apologized and said they'd do a complimentary drain and refill (which wasn't great - just costs us money - but we accepted it). Then they NEVER did it. When I asked about it they deflected and made excuses. Meanwhile the tech kept using the wrong gate (an inoperable gate he broke open), and continued to come in and out in minutes while the spa was never really cleaned (twigs, branches, etc. in the spa and only opened by the tech). At the risk of being a pain of a customer I continued to give them a chance to correct it, I emailed them multiple times to let them know about the poor service their employees were providing, etc. they finally assigned a new rep, but then no one came for a full month. We arrived to our cabin this week to find the spa completely green. No reply to any of our communications to them this month trying to resolve it. Terrible, save yourself the frustration and find an alternative service provider.

I walked in and was able to find everything I needed to start my hot tub back up and running again!! The guy answered all my questions and helped me understand the chemistry on how to care for my hot tub and what I needed to help maintain my hot tub fresh & ready and keep it sanitized and ready to be used at all times.

Bear Valley Spas has done good professional work for us. We were with another local company and we’re not pleased after a few service dates were missed. We made the switch to BVS and have been happy since. I had run into a few of their people while on the job at our home and they are all friendly and professional. I love the fact that I get an email with service details and notes each time they come, no more worrying if it was handled or not!! Thank you Bear Valley Spas, keep up the good work.

Spa was dirty & his hand wand would not vacuum all of it. The only solution he suggested was drain & refill. I wish they would have had a different vacuum like on swimming pools.

Every detail of my purchase was excellent. Brandon showed me a spa in the showroom that met all our needs. Travis came out and evaluated my job site and set up a flawless delivery. The delivery was amazing. They have special dolly's to move your spa eliminating an expensive crane. Their care and consideration of your spa was amazing. Travis and crew came out to install the cover lift and chemical demonstration. He is the consummate professional. I highly recommend this company. I also recommend the hot springs spa. Great products.

The move went great! These guys assembled a team after checking out both locations. They picked my old 7 person spa and trailered it a half mile to my new home. I have been a client for 2 years, service has been okay for the first year. Then lately it is an absolute mess, whenever I call, someone picks up that is not actually in office. The drill is always the same "I will take your name and number down and will have the office get back to you" but no one ever does. This week it has been particularly bad, we had an issue with dark green water. On Monday someone came and tried to shock the water with chemicals, which did nothing. Having guests checking in on Friday I got on emails and phone to literally beg for service. Every day I was told that they would go and check or dump and fill with water. Until today, Friday, 2 hours before my guests check in and still nothing. I will have to refund money to my guests for not being able to use the jacuzzi and I will pretend a discount from them. But I would stay away from hiring them as of now, because very clearly they do not know how to handle business.

The service I received from Travis at Bear Valley Pool & Spas was above and beyond. After being completely swindled by a rouge “electrician,” Travis came through with flying colors. Upon his initial visit, he warned me that everything the guy did to set it up needed replacing (even the foundation the guy built wouldn’t suffice over a long period of time once it filled up with water) before he felt comfortable to work on the small repair needed. I’m so glad he warned me of this instead of just doing the repair and calling it a day. Once this was done, I called in and the next thing I knew two days later Travis was back at the house ready to work. He fixed the leak, came back 24hrs later to make sure it was working properly, walked me through all of the steps to keep the water clean and gave me a few pointers on long term care. Overall my experience with Bear Valley Spas was nothing short of awesome! Everyone was extremely courteous, compassionate to the situation I went through and friendly. I have no hesitation recommending them to anyone looking for service up here on the mountain. Thanks Travis and Bear Valley Pools & Spas!!!!

I haven't worked here, but I'm friends with a lot of the employees. The owner treats them like garbage and pays them nothing. I feel so bad for them.EDIT - I want to come back and edit my review. The owner has really stepped up to the plate for his employees. Raises have been handed out & they have been promoting within. Send these guys your business, they deserve it. They go from 1 star to 4 stars in my eyes. -1 star for the antics.

You have put me on the back burner for months, we paid for a new motor that failed immediately. Bear valley pool said they would be out the weekend after August 4th and since then have been not returning any calls. Don’t do business with this company.

I love this spa company, I purchased my spa from Bear Valley Spa and pay for their regular service. I tried to leave once and get service else were but came right back and have been a customer ever since (last four years). It has been money well spent! If I ever have an issue, for example my control panel went out, I called in a panic because I had renters coming, they ordered a new part, and had it installed in what seemed like a minute. Sometimes it is hard to find good help on the mountain but this spa company has been responsive and dependable consistently. I feel can Really count on them when I need them which says a lot since I had to move off the mountain. Can’t say enough about this crew! I would give 10 stars if I could!

I explained what I was looking for and he showed me the many options available, and helped me make just the right decision for my Spa purchase! I Was extremely happy with Bear Valley spas, They showed up the next day after I called. I had to have my circuit board replaced which I saved a couple hundred dollars from using Bear Valley spas. The spa technician figured a way that it would work in my spa that is 12 years old, I would recommend Bear Valley spas to anyone for any of their spa needs.

Our family has spa service with this company in Big Bear and they are wonderful! As part of their service they give weekly emails with logs and photos of our spa so we know whats going on... the other company we used was really unreliable and didn't have any logs so we never knew IF or when they came.. Our tub has always been great every time we come up. Cheryl and Tammy are awesome to work with and absolutely on top of it... once we had a bunch of kids, ...and a dog, in the spa and it got nasty... a quick call to cheryl who found and spa tech close by using her GPS dispatch software and within 20 min the spa was retreated and we were good again.. That's great service! Thanks guys.

Initial back and forth was not as smooth as you would expect, it is a busy season in Big Bear and a common problem. You just have to have the right person's cell number and call him directly otherwise it will take forever. Thanks Sean to coordinate and help us prepare the deck. We are happy with our new Hottub and the service.

Technician Vallee is amazing and does amazing work, however the office staff is terrible. I do not get scheduled cleanings if Vallee is out, I don't receive phone calls back after leaving multiple messages, and often I don't even get to talk with someone if I do call. The company seems very unorganized and unprofessional all around! Needs some major improvements before I start looking for a private spa cleaning service.

I have used these guys multiple times when I purchased hot tubs for our Airbnb’s. And they do all the service as well, anytime I’ve had questions or issues. They’ve been more than helpful and gotten all questions answered or issues everything resolved!! When you don’t live up the hill you need somebody like this on your team to look out for you, we have very high in cabins and people expect the best when they come to our place. So we need to be on top of everything immediately to keep that five star rating through Airbnb.
