I had the most pleasant meal here on a Friday night after working on my cabin all day. My pastrami burger was cooked well, and the fries were nice and crispy. This place has an all-American diner feel to it without dipping into the greasy spoon category.Service was friendly and prompt. They let me stay and read after my meal and didn’t rush me out to turn the table. Right off the main road thru town without having to go all the way West past the traffic of the Village area.They took the time to decorate for Valentines Day and manage to keep the mountain town affect. Next time I’ll try the birria plate.

I highly recommend the 2-2-2 breakfast. You get to taste everything. Are you hungry? Can’t decide where to eat? Are you looking for good food? Then this is the place for you to try. I visited big bear weeks ago and It was my first time to eat at this place. They have friendly staff and the place has a welcoming vibe. You are welcomed by the smell of good food being prepared and beautiful smiles and greetings from the staff. Food is exquisite, try it out for yourself. If you are looking for a Michelin restaurant then this is not the right place for you. But if you are looking for good food then this is the spot.I rate this place 10 out of 10 I will come back again.

I had an outstanding experience at Alpine Country Coffee Shop in Big Bear on Thanksgiving day. Despite the busy holiday crowd, the staff was exceptionally friendly and efficient, providing fast service with a smile. Their prices are extremely affordable especially in these times when inflation is out of control. The warm atmosphere and prompt service made our visit truly enjoyable. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

😊 it was a very distinct, rustic experience for sure. We did not see our favorite server, but surprisingly met her at the Grout Park later that day (she's now a full-time teacher/educator).We loved our experience here. The "small town" feel... how Alpine's staff treats you like family and addresses you by first name. I hope ALL (new) servers have the same attitude to every single customer that comes in.

What a fun, small-town diner. We chose it for the reviews and the patio seating. The service was outstanding--attentive and so friendly. We chose machaca and eggs, which was not as flavorful as it was plentiful. The salsa it was served with added a good dimension. We also had the omelet--avocado, tomato, and bacon. It was well done and delicious. Overall, a very good, down-home breakfast for about $12-14 per person.Kid-friendliness: Patio is a great option for kids and wheelchair accessible.

This is a nice place to get great food for a good price. Portions are more than fair and the food is tasty. The decor is stuck in the 80's I think, but it's clean and the staff is great as they come around several times to make sure everything is ok. I never got past half a cup of coffee because they were always there to fill my cup up again. I loved that! My friend had the machaca plate and I had the Florentine eggs Benedict. No complaints here. Will go back again when I'm on my next Big Bear adventure

Excellent dinning experience. We went here the day before Thanksgiving and thankfully there was no lines. We had been in Big Bear a previous year for Christmas but there was a line out the door for this restaurant so we didnt go and missed out. We received Five star service and perfectly cooked food.

Nice place for a bite to eat. Huge menu 😋 serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Good decaf coffee and delicious fountain coke. The servers are super nice and very attentive (I love that). I got a tuna melt w/fries, it was good. I was not disappointed at all. I would most definitely recommend this place. They have lots to choose from and I will definitely go back and try some other items on their menu. It's on Big Bear Blvd. next to Alpine Liquor and the Ax Throwing place.

Let me tell you what I had no idea walking into this coffee shop that I was about to eat the best Mexican food around the food is absolutely delicious hot fresh tasted great aroma all the senses were tingling! the al pastor was cooked perfectly everything was cooked perfectly compliments to the chef our waitress was amazing everything about the place was amazing definitely coming back!

This is a little gem for those that live in the area. I had the sirloin steak and eggs. I asked that my steak be cooked well done and the eggs scrambled hard. It also came with home fries and toast. The steak before hitting the table smelled off. I took a bite and immediately spit it out. It wasn't good. It was old meat you could smell it and taste it. The waitress took it away and offered something else. I declined and only ate the eggs, home fries, and toast. That sufficed me. It's a very small place. It was okay for what it was.

When we visit Big Bear Lake, we go to this restaurant quite often. It’s not the most aesthetic place, but it’s cozy. The food is always good and fair priced, and they even have tasty Mexican food items. What makes it a nice experience, is the waitress’/waiters are very nice and attentive. They make you feel at home even if you are not a local.
