Convenient location and the store is clean well lit, and stocked well. The parking lot is a challenge. People in this area are in need of a driving class on parking. Cars are parked skewed in the slots or take up two slots, not sure what is going on....its like everyone forgot how to drive. (Or they are so desperate for their organic kale fix, they can't afford the time to park correctly.) 😉

The only Whole Foods in town. Great selection of alcohol, hot food, fruits, herbal supplements, and all the goodies one would expect from an average Whole Foods. Free parking and security. It's a really nice place. Clean. This store accepts Amazon returns.

I like Whole Foods, it has all the basics that I need. HOWEVER, this review is for the food bar. Your quality has gone down so much over the last few years, and for a store of your caliber (or the caliber you’re trying to be) it’s just so, so sad. Come on guys, can’t we put in more care into your food? It’s not cheap either - so please put some effort. We came in at 7pm to get hot bar food, and everything was so dried out and crusty…it was sadder than getting food from Safeway. What gives?

PARKING is terrible. Tight spots and I've gotten dings on my car when I come here, which really sucks. The store itself is fine -- it's a Whole Foods after all. It'll meet your expectations. But the parking is the reason I don't come here as often as I'd like.

I have never experienced such small parking spots. They will only provide 6 feet of space between each parked car that does not leave enough room to open your door without denting it. Let alone the retards that opened their door all the way and Dent your car like they did to mine last time

I want to highlight the exceptional customer service provided by Pablo, one of the store associates. He went above and beyond to ensure 100% customer satisfaction during my visit. However, I was disappointed with the lack of leadership, customer service, and critical thinking skills displayed by the Asian supervisor, Sam.For instance, yesterday I needed to make an emergency call as my phone died while shopping and I was locked out of my Tesla. Sam refused to let me use the store phone, despite the customer service booth stating 100% customer satisfaction guaranteed.I questioned Sam about what she would do if a child were lost in the store and needed to contact their parents using the store phone. Her response was unsatisfactory, showing a lack of preparedness. I think that the general manager should consider retraining Sam in customer service and problem-solving to improve her skills in these areas.It's essential to base supervisors' placements on their knowledge and leadership abilities, rather than solely on seniority. This way, Whole Foods can ensure better leadership and customer service for the store's patrons.

Plenty of wonderful food items. What's not to Love ..... But I picked up Mary's Chicken. The place is clean and full of goodies. There are plenty of people available to assist you. Lastly the quality is unquestionable.

Typical Whole Foods. Relatively convenient from 80 up Gilman. Only downside is parking. Parking lot is usually quite crowded (not their fault), and to make matters worse, the individual parking spots are extra SMALL. I suggest parking in the street versus the parking lot to avoid getting a door ding in the tiny spots.

Good place to get healthy food supplies. I love this place because they have a favorite organic tea. Friendly and professional staff. They need to improve their salad buffet. They need to make more selections. If you want to get the best of salad buffet, then you have to come early in the morning!

In the time post covid during the final year of white senile reign this whole foods was open even when the lights were dimmed so low in the parking lot so as to appear like noone is home. There is a satelite URBAN REMEDY shop just inside to the left. Very nice staff at U.R . This whole foods is a basket case. Its berkley. It IS the embodiment of bezerkly. It is smaller than some, the ready to eat hot food station is bigger than many other stores entire produce dept. Its laid out strangely but whatever. The best thing though is the entire aisle devoted to water, not just any water, IT IS KOSHER!!!!!! WOW! OY VEY! so i asked the workers how that works. Blank stares. I press on. I ask why there isnt any halal water. Nervous and worried blank stares. The manager gets called and is very unhappy with my questions but has no idea what either of those two words mean. He looks and speaks with Indian or Kashmiri accent so its not a problem, but wow.

We stopped at Whole Foods Markets several times during our stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Berkeley Marina, which was part of our Summer road trip from Tigard, OR through Northern California.My kids and I are big fans of Whole Foods Market and this location is no exception!They have incredibly friendly and helpful staff, the food bars are super-fresh with an excellent assortment, and the Deli Bar is phenomenal.The market is very well stocked and carries a little something for everyone. They had an excellent assortment of the freshest fruits as well.If you are in the area, definitely give them a try!

Nice area. Staff was very helpful. Displays were clean and full of product or food. Floors were clean and items on sale were clearly marked. Looks like the store is under good management. Will definitely visit again.

They have a good selection of everything: baked goods, hot food, salad bar, fruit, veggies, meat alternatives, and even good quality meat! It can get very busy around 5p so be warned!! The cashiers do a great job of keeping the lines moving. Bathrooms remain clean and fully stocked. 10/10 would definitely recommend 👍

Very short staffed. Long lines. Out of a lot of things. Shelf stakkers taking up a lot of space idly chatting and blocking you. And then there are the personal shoppers who will run you down. It’s not pleasant I would come here and pay more to have a better shopping experience. It’s gone to the dogs!!!!

My daughter and I went to Whole Foods yesterday and she bought a lot of vegan stuff for she can no longer have any dairy in her diet. She also bought me plant based bacon which I think is delicious when you cook it in an air fryer. 😋I wish Manteca has a Whole Foods. The closest Whole Foods near Manteca is Dublin which is 37.7 miles away from Manteca.

Second time in a row I’ve shopped at Gilman street and sorry to say the young folks you have working there are mostly rude. If you have a question they can’t, won’t or don’t care to answer have to go to the manager to get the most basic help.I was in self check out and had an issue. The young man who was stationed there had disappeared to to other end of the store chatting w 3 other checkers who were being payed for comparing their nails and hair. No joke. I waved and said can I get some help? They looked at each other and laughed and then sent over the young man that was supposed to be stationed there. I asked for help using my gift card he said uh it should work and stepped back I said could you help w that? Reluctantly he did. I said you know I just wanted help w this transaction but sometimes it’s hard to know who to ask. He responded w yeah it’s like that sometimes!All this to say terrible customer service. They must have been texting during training and missed the customer comes first bit.I did get great help from Jeneva at the deli.She was kind and helpful. Glad for that. Will try the Telegraph location next time. They are more attentive and knowledgeable.

The usual whole foods experience. Lots of good produce, overpriced but healthy options, etc. The coffee bar is particularly nice at this location, but there's a Phil's across the street,so ... The cheese people are always nice, but the parking is absolutely wretched. You can barely fit a Prius into one of their spots and, well, I don't exactly drive a Prius so I try to get when it's not busy. Someday I'll figure out when that is...
