The pharmacy denied me my pain meds after brain surgery ... told me my insurance won't cover it cause it's to high a dosage ... My insurance said it's covered no problem the pharmacist just does not want to give it to me!!! She's like oh you took this medication back in June yeah for a diffrent surgery for only a few days. It's a crime to have multiple surgerys In a year apparently !!

Waiting on another long line on my third attempt to pick up a prescription. Now that I'm completely out of meds, I have to wait. Photos are from two different attempts with at least 10 minutes per person wait.If you can go somewhere else, do it! This place is terrible.

If I could give -10 I would! This place is next to useless. They are understaffed, they're inefficient, and every time I go there it's a long wait, when you get to the counter you're lucky if your prescription is ready or even in their queue. I called their store today on 8-30-23, I was on the phone for 2 hours and when I was finally up, my call was disconnected from their end. I drive down there and they're closed because their staff didn't show up. (The whole freaking staff!)No warning on there call waiting about this. Wasted 2 hours of my precious time and was unable to pick up medicine I needed for a lung infection. This place is the absolute worst!

Can someone PLEASE reinvent the pharmacy experience. It’s SO bad and I would pay 5x more for a better experience.This one captures the exact issue. Horribly rude staff, won’t pickup the phone (hangs up on you when you do get someone), totally disorganized and short tempered staff.

The store itself is fine. The employees are all friendly and helpful. Although the one on Gilman Street in Berkeley sometimes has sketchy people. I know they've been robbed before too. And their pharmacy sucks. There usually is a long line and a long wait. I also don't like how their machine calls you and tells you that your prescription is ready to be picked up even if it's not yet ready to be picked up. I heard the pharmacist tell someone that it sends that message out automatically. They need to change that

Really the worst pharmacy I've ever used. They're very difficult to contact by phone. Most of the time, they'll keep you on hold endlessly or just hang up on you. In addition, you can expect to wait in line for at least 30 minutes even if your prescription is ready to pick up. Once, I waited in line for nearly an hour. Also, on a few occasions, they've been a week late to fill my monthly scheduled prescriptions. For example, it took them about a week to fill a recurring prescription. What's worse, almost every time I've gone in there, there are people in line who urgently need a prescription but are turned away at the counter and told to come back in a few days. This place is understaffed and the staff who are there seem to be fairly incompetent at their jobs. Really. If you need a prescription filled, go literally anywhere else.

The pharmacy here is in need of serious help. Either they are short staffed or mismanaged, but there are unacceptably long waiting times - partially due to the restrictive operating hours (closed sundays) but also because most interactions (phone calls/inquiries/prescription pickups) seem to take much less longer than they would at any other pharmacy. I can’t say definitively why. The staff is helpful except for the lead pharmacist, who chooses to use her discretion to deny customers hundreds of $$ in savings on medications by refusing to accept coupons. I will not fill prescriptions here again, one time was enough to witness the disappointing interactions all the other customers also seemed to have here.

Absolutely the worst checkout experience imaginable. I have tried this store three times and each time the checkout was an absolute nightmare. Never again. If you have any possibility of shopping someplace else take it. This store will absolutely ruin your day.

I live nearby, and I use this Store & The Pharmacy here ' Regularly '. I have consistently found the Pharmacists and other Staff members to be Helpful & Conscientious. Hope they can remain in Business. Great Store with Ample Parking on the 72 Bus Line across from Whole Foods Market & Dollar Tree !!!Also - their ' Automated System ' will call Regularlyto Remind when ' Prescriptions ' are Ready to go !!!!

Add me to the list of people who left this pharmacy due to terrible customer service. My prescription kept NOT getting filled . Waited over 10 minutes on hold only to get hung up on!!!!!If you are too busy you can still be respectful to people, especially if they need medication from you!!!

Decently stocked. Lots of good junk food, Seasonal goods. Pharmacy is dicey. They sometimes run out of drugs. Other main complaint is the pharmacy hours are not reliable. Normally closes between 1-2pm but opens a half hour later or so with a long line of people waiting - bad time management by the store manager (Jan 31, 2023)

Pharmacy is really hard to get prescriptions filled. They will send a message it is ready and it is not. They will take a long time to service a few people in line. They will not have meds needed. One day a prescription was send in the morning and not filled until 3 calls later and hardly had it at the end of day.

The level of incompetence and inefficiency at this pharmacy makes me wonder if they’re actually still operational. You have to wait for at least 40 minutes until you’re connected to a member of the staff, and the pharmacy manager never answers the phone. We’ve been waiting for more than 3 weeks now to receive a critical medication for my elderly, disabled father who hasn’t been able to sleep without this medication. I’m in the process of filing a formal complaint with Walgreens, though I’m not holding my breath…

Why is it called a pharmacy? They have no medicine in stock. No tea bags. No honey. The entire aisle for cough/cold medicines was empty. We went two different days, same issue. Take “pharmacy” out of the title please.

Went here a lot and some truly nice and kind folks worked at the pharmacy but management has obviously ruined all that. I thought such a big brand would have figured out a way to get through bumps in the road but apparently not. Go to another pharmacy.

My medication has been miss-counted two times from this pharmacy! The staff are unpleasant. There is one pharmacy technician in particular who has repeatedly been rude and insulting. I only come here because it’s close to my house. Mediocre customer service would be an improvement.

horrible. they quoted me on the price of developing my 9 rolls of 35mm film at around 100$ and when i went to pick them up they were horribly developed, missing cds, and it cost almost twice as much. when asking for help they simply offered me a 5$ gift card! avoid if you care about the photos youve taken

Okay I'm doing this because I'm hoping that Walgreens will be able to help me I'm an artist a person that I'm not willing to call a criminal yet took 30 pieces of my art 30 paintings four and a half years of Blood Sweat and Tears working with the Creator and then two of my large paintings one of them 5×8 and another one for about 4×6 and put them behind the garbage cans behind Walgreens but very visible and then in the parking lot going towards 10th Street down the side of the store a girl and an orange blazer with a white top on it or a guy in a white truck took a tube of cardboard tube with 30 paintings in it and threw it on the ground in the bushes going down the side of the store where the camera is I think they parked right in front of it these are all abstract and beautiful one of them is Speed Racer and the rest for me and my friends flying through space so please anybody that can help me to locate these paintings they were left there about August 1st Thru the 5th at some point then probably on a Friday night or Saturday morning thank you anybody out there that can help me to track this down I think you so much I'll be leaving my information at the store
