Nicest people on Earth!!! The store is spotless, the folks that work there seem to really care, and go out of their way to help. It's hard to imagine a pet food they don't have, or a pet toy you're looking for. It's a no brainer for your pet needs. Throw in the fact they're helping local animal shelters, why go anywhere else.

I've been to the Berkeley Pet Food Express several times and always got good help. Plus I love the "buy 3 cans of (high quality) dog food and get one free" policy. But last week was the best. My dog had just developed loose poop again and only a month ago we had that along with a big vet bill. The two male workers recommended their canned pumpkin and were willing to add all the reassurance I needed--i.e. repeat reassurances till I relaxed. And like they said, it worked! I really appreciate their products, services, and people skills.

The Best for Misty & Mikey & me !Researched & sampled the 'cleanest' cat food for our acne-prone loved ones.It took months of trial n errors+.All the folks have been Knowledgeable (or found an expert) & Fun.&! To mention: 4 for the price of 3 everyday !$!My Pleasure, Bill

Very friendly staff with good selection of products. Adoptions held at this location regularly. Area is a little sketchy though but that's not their fault.

Not the biggest pet shop in the immediate area, but good for picking up supplies for dogs and cats. They have vet appointments in the store on certain weekends.
