Small but packed full of excellent products for pets! The shop workers are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They are currently working with a team that does dental exams for dogs! It's a bit expensive (for me)- but everything in the shop is very high quality and high value.

Healthy Spot/Holistic Hound is my dogs' favorite place to go on a walk. They can not wait to go through the cute half door to run inside and see all their friends who work there. It helps that their friends give them lots of quality snacks and attention, treating the pups like the royalty they firmly believe themselves to be.So if you like your pups being lavished with love and a snack or two (upon parent approval, of course), this is a great place to visit. You'll find all sorts of good quality dog and cat food, toys, supplements, fancy treats (think chicken hearts and cow tracheas), cbd items, clothes, leashes, beds, and basically everything you might need for your larger furry quadrupeds. The staff is also extremely knowledgeable and friendly.We had recently moved nearby when our previous dog fell ill with cancer. We went to holistic hound/healthy spot in search of something to help her have an appetite, and the staff helped us find fermented goats milk and a few other things that she was able to enjoy in her last few weeks. The staff were incredibly helpful, kind, and compassionate. I have nothing but great things to say about this place.Even though it's now technically a "Healthy Spot", on the customer side, it still feels like the Holistic Hound it used to be. Don't be spooked by the brand change. The quality is still there!

Wow what a great place their customer service is beyond words. Our 13 year old Lab has arthritis Her vet had her on Gabepentin which stopped the pain but she slept all the time. Now she is doing great! She even ran today when we were walking Thank you so much! Juno is so happy and so are we!

Great spot for your dog and cat supplies! They have really great brands and products (food, treats, supplements, toys), and they are SUPER helpful and knowledgeable. They have given me really great recommendations for supplements for my aging dog and solutions for his food allergies. And they were great about taking back an open bag of food when my dog decided he was NOT going to eat another bite of it.

A wonderful neighborhood pet store where the staff are knowledgeable and caring. Great selection of healthy dog and cat food and snacks and lots of health products and cute doggie and kitty clothes. I love the rewards program that gives you coupons when you accrue points from purchases. Prices are reasonable. My dog loves to visit this store where he is treated so well.

My go-to place when I wanna treat my cats, or buy gifts for friends pets. Their toys are so crazy cute and I wish I could buy all the clothes. I have a little closet of cat clothes no gonna lie.The people there are super knowledgeable about their products, and you can't go wrong with properly valuing such an important member of your family. <3

Great selection of high quality products for dogs and cats, from treats and collars and toys, to food and holistic supplements. It's on the expensive side, but so worth it. I & my pups especially enjoy the "candy shop" at the front of the store, with a weird wondrous variety of disgusting yet wholesome animal parts, all in self serve jars that you pay for by weight. Friendly and knowledgeable staff as well.

Hands down the best doggy clothing and healthy treats selection for miles. The raw food section also makes me beam with joy. The staff are always friendly, courteous (not overbearing or aloof like some specialty stores can be). It's always a treat shopping here, we look forward to it.

As a POC (person of color) I’d was given dirty looks by a POC, I believe manager, male employee during my time shopping. Including, a Caucasian women employee. Every POC & LGBTQ member should feel comfortable shopping for their pets. Every pet deserves quality food and should be the goal. Making it seem like only a group of people are allowed to shop there is giving racism.

Go-to option for pet food, supplements and accessories on the heat of Berkeley. Plenty of treats, broth options to choose from. I always feel spoilt for choice (and I am sure my dog feels the same).The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, which is great when you are confused what "new" treat to pick for your pooch. Both vegetarian and non-vegetation food and test options are plenty here!

Their CBD helped my senior dog with arthritis couldn't even move and would whimper when she did. Now has better mobility and better quality of life. Dont know what I would've done with out them. Super knowledgeable and professional

When my dog Quincy was diagnosed with Bone Cancer during COVID we knew we would not have much time left with him. We did not want him to suffer, while we got second opinions, gathered our family and searched for a vet who would allow us to be present when he was put down. During that time, we purchased quite a bit of CBD oil from your store. It helped greatly and made his transition less painful for him and less anguishing for us. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Great customer service. My dog chewed through a new harness in 10 minutes, and they allowed me to exchange it for a beefier one, paying only the difference. They're loose with treats, too.

This place has cbd oil for your babies, among many, many other holistic items. I know there is a lot of controversy behind this but my baby was dying with an incurable disease and it helped her. It does NOT make any person or animal high, no matter what anyone says it helps with pain, you can rub it on or internally, it kept her comfortable for the last 6 months before it was her time to go.

Personally I'm not into the whole holistic approach it just seems opinionated, circumstantial and expensive. With that said, the staff here is nice and the selection of pet accessories is very good. I'll just take the trusted chemical approach to dealing with fleas and ticks.

Knowledgeable staff, great selection and they can special order pretty much any product from the lines they carry even if they don't have it in stock...and it comes in quickly. They also give a $5 discount on every $100 spent. Good deal since the products they carry are pricey 😉

We get our dog's food and treats here. They have great, healthy brands, lots of accessories (collars galore!), and now they even deliver in the East Bay which is amazing
