One stop shopping, $1.25 at a time. They didn't have a funnel I needed today and stuff is often out of stock but can you really complain? Reading glasses were $16.95 at Target for crying out loud! Glad I saw them here for next to nothing.It's a great day when they have BOTH Nilla Wafers and Wild Cherry Pepsi in stock! Makes sotting on traffic a real (inexpensive) treat.And I only bought those little clothespins because they are ADORABLE. Their cuteness will pass forth into some manly project or another.

Has a wide variety of stuff, always stocked. I also like that the parking lot is big. Great service, the workers are kind. I recommend coming here.

It's a huge store so it has a lot of different types of goodies. The employees were very nice and checked people out quickly. Only issue was that the store was trashed, lots of the shelves were empty cause a lot of the stuff was on the bottom shelfs all messed up.

The manager Shelby, an African American woman it's extremely rude and inconsiderate unbelievable absurd behavior. She also refused to say her name when asked. Made me wait in line and when i reached she said lane was closed and she would not serve me! There was no sign of lane being closed nor did she advise me in advance when I was standing in the line. She should be fired! Totally unacceptable behavior!

I wish I had asked my checker her name. She was extremely careful and considerate. Often I pack my own bags because I've had cashier's put cleaning supplies in the same gag ... with food. She put all refrigerator and freezer idems in there own bags. Wow . Such a kind considerate Lady.. Thanks for making my day easy .

This store is generally pretty good. It's kind of a drag when the inventory is low, and sometimes the store is messy and unorganized... But they seem to have a skeleton crew and they never make customers wait in line too long so I understand why it might be a little undone.

Even though they raised their prices to $1.25, I truly feel they were justified to do so what with this economy going the way it has gone. It is still a real bargain to shop here. My only complaint is that when I come here shopping with my list, I always end up getting more than I had planned,, so I suppose this isn't a true complaint.....hahaha :)Have they raised prizes again?!??

It wasn't really crowded this time, there was enough therto add at least one more cashier. Shelves were orderly,There were ample parking and thehandicapped parking spots are a greatConvenience for those of us who needthem. Thank you for providing the shopping cart without the long poll. I was able to bring my items to the car myself. It seems simple but when your whole body hurts it is a big help.Hey this should be five start *****!.

Convenient location and easy parking. No public restrooms but there's a WHOLE FOODS in the same parking lot. Didn't realize that not everything is a dollar! Most of the items I bought were $1.25 (gift bags). I was surprised!! Otherwise the service was friendly and the store was well stocked.

Well it shouldn't be called the Dollar Tree anymore. Because just about, if not everything is a $1.25 now. But they only advertise a few things as a $1.25 . That's a pretty big hike in prices. But you can still find some pretty good deals, you just have to pick and choose what you buy. At a 25% increase in prices some items are no longer a steal.

Frozen low end supplies are either not available now or the store chain leaving that sector for higher priced frozen foods. Do not know yet if this is a corporate direction or buyer choice.

Actually enjoyed shopping at this Dollar tree location because the selection is better than my local store. Found myself browsing through every isle. I only bought a few things however I will Definately frequent this location in the future. Has more food options like I seen cream of wheat ( my favorite) and all different color nail polishes. I would would recommend this place to everyone

Hell Yeah! Dollar tree has just about everything I need and I am grateful for it. With two kids, lunch supplies for cheap: Plastic sandwich bags, parchment paper, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, Halloween decorations, party supplies in a pinch. Everything you need like toothbrushes, cleaning chemicals, the list goes on.

The check out person was very professional and nice. I enjoy the variety of things that they have and the people that shop there and work there. They have great stuff and the store is really well kept. I'm surprised that the store isn't more packed. They have plenty of parking. I only wish that they were closer to 40th and San Pablo.

Well, since I've moved to Berkeley, this is the only Dollar Tree store I go to. It's the same as most others, but the problem and the reason I only have 3 stars is I could not find ANY staff on the floor. And this is not the first time!! I don't know where a lot of things are, being new and all, so I needed help!! Also, I have Lupus, and some days it's very difficult to walk, so I shouldn't have to walk all the way to the front of the store, just to walk to the back again!! And some clerks are kind of rude!!

It is hard to review a dollar store. All dollar stores are filled with cheap knockoffs and a few surprises. Dollar Tree is no different, but as a quick stop to pick up some paper plates or party decorations or unhealthy snack it will certainly save you a few dollars.

Lots of parking. I have to set myself a budget because there is so many price savings. Great buys on stationary, cleaning products, baking supplies and storage containers. Wonderful supply of seasonal products. Go now and don't stop.

The classic dollar store, great staff, (I lost a wallet with $200 in it and came back the next day and had it all returned intact) where you can often find liquidated cleaning supplies from closed companies, and random shipments of things that might cost several times more in your regular stores. Always worth a check, you could literally outfit your entire kitchen for under $50

I like the Dollar Tree. I always usually come out with more than expected. There were a couple of items I specifically went to buy, but they were out of the items. I can usually find the items in a week or two. It is a fun place to shop.

Clean store with a friendly staff, the lines are never too long. I always go to buy specific things, but then come out with way more than I planned lol! . Dollar store quality has gotten way better than it used to be, and at the same time you have remember it is the $1.00 store😀

This particular store, unlike the other Dollar Tree stores I've visited, is a complete mess. It's next to impossible to find what one is looking for because the "displays" are total chaos. I was looking for a roll of brown kraft paper to wrap a package for mailing. At other Dollar Tree locations, this item is located in the stationary aisle. Not at the Gilman Street store. I looked for an employee, but couldn't find anyone to help me locate my item. I eventually found the Kraft paper with the gift wrap - mind you, it wasn't in the section labeled Kraft paper, it was instead buried under various non-foil wrapping papers in a section labeled "foil".The condition of this store is awful. The parking lot is strewn with debris and litter. The inside of the store is also strewn with debris - items that should be for sale but are on the floor or in a totally unrelated section. Here are just a few of many examples:. A full box of mosquito repellent in the stationary section. Broken mug in the stationary section. Cat toy on the floor in the floral sectionI have to admit, as I was taking photos for this post, 2 employees did approach me to find out if I needed help. I wouldn't have been able to identify them as employees because they weren't wearing anything that identified them as such.

This place I really love! The products are legit- you're buying mostly brand name goods that are priced at a $1. I have been happy with just about everything I purchased- meaning, nothing has fallen apart or been spoiled or generally didn't meet my expectations. For instance, the tooth brushes are the same as at drug store chains. only they are a buck and not $5.99 for something you used to pay $2 for... back when tooth brushes weren't all Hannah-Montanna-gangster-blinged-out... Staff is very friendly. Store is well organized.

I work for Hallmark as a merchandisker and the Dollar Tree is one of my accounts.It carries more of what people need, I don't see a lot of quality products in other $1 type establishments (I wouldnt expect too).However, this one has a wide variety of products, coconut oil for the body, name brand facial products, housing needs, and a whole lot more.Dollar Tree really surprised me it's truly a diamond in the rough.

Too small never has what looking for always end up going to another dollar store. They CHARGE YOU FOR BAGS! Are kidding where the costumer service. This is the last time I go there , even though I work right there and it would be more convenient for me. Businesses in the ciry of Berkley suck.
