We have wanted to stay here for a long time. Reserved our spot 9 months in advance and planned our entire trip around it. I woke up the morning of our reservation so excited. It was like Christmas, I was that excited to stay there. If only we had known about the draconian policies. Our credit card number had changed and the card was declined. They sent an email which we didn’t get (this is a remote location, we are in a van, and the email didn’t come through.)We were so disappointed. We were left with no back up plan, nowhere to stay, and have I mentioned this is a remote location. There aren’t a lot of options.Worst of all was the attitude. They clearly didn’t care AT ALL.We would have paid in advance. We would have straightened it out, if they had given us a chance. I’m so very disappointed. If you make a reservation here, be sure to call and make sure they haven’t given your spot away.Anyone who is this cynical should probably just get out of the hospitality business altogether.

Crazy draconian policies!I booked this place last August 1, it’s now May 8. Planned a whole trip around it.48 hrs before our arrival, they tried to run my credit card - the number had changed since August, my bad for not letting them know, I guess. They emailed me but we’re on the road on our way there, so I didn’t get the email. I also entered my phone number wrong, again that’s on me. But then they booked out my camp spot, with little time for me to respond to the email! 24 hours to respond!! We get to this VERY remote spot and now we can’t stay! We could have easily straightened this out. They just didn’t care and nothing could be done anyway. We had been planning this for almost two years, talking about it the last few months, I’ve been wanting to stay here for 20 years..,and I’m just so disappointed. I won’t try again, but be warned…check in with them 48 hrs ahead or they will cheerfully give away your long-awaited spot.

We recently stayed at the Hobbit House the end of January during the cold months. All was great, but there is no source of heating in the Hobbit house. Bring your own electric heater. Guess we hit the hot tub about 7 times to warm up.Please put in a gas wall furnace.

Rented the Hacienda House with my best friends and we had an amazing weekend! Beautiful home, looking out over Benton HotSprings and the White MTNS are right there. Secluded, incredible skies for star gazing, cows moo-ing in the distance, and your own private hot tub to use at the Inn. The drive is 5 minutes away and so easy. We came here months ago and I still think about how much I loved it.

I didn’t know what to expect when I came here with friends to one of their fundraising events. Honestly, though we were youngest people there, we all had a great time. The people running the springs are passionate about this little town and their fire makes them interesting to hear from. The tub sites were fun to camp at and the locals were all a hoot!

We LOVE Benton Hot Springs and plan several visits throughout the year. If only the other guests would follow the rules and control their dogs. On our last visit we were walking to the restroom at night with our dogs (on leash) and an aggressive, large dog came running up to us scaring us and our dogs. Don't assume your dog will stay at your site and use a leash! On another visit, a random dog visited and pooped in our camp site. Control your dogs, people!

A truly lovely and special place with so much character.Sylvester, the 14 year old cat, patrols the grounds and welcomes visitors to this little oasis in the sagebrush ocean. Orb spiders weave the most spectacular webs in the eaves of the villa-like main building. Families of quail wander the whimsical grounds under cottonwoods. And, the smell of sagebrush at dusk lingers long after your visit. If you’re looking for a grounding, home-like experience with clean rooms, tubs, and kind people, this is the place. I can’t wait to come back.

I just want to say thank you for the experience. Unique hotel and nice set of camping sites with a hot tubs. Definitely worth to come. Some info for the new visitors: no microwave, no coffee machine, they have fridge though. Small store 10 min driving with a limited amount of groceries. So be prepared. Healthy and delicious breakfast. Helpful personal.

Check-in is just drive up sign papers and drive to the tub. I had tub #1. No in person contact. The tub and area were clean. You get a picnic table a BBQ and a fire pit. Some privacy fences as well. The bathroom was a little bit of a walk but not bad it was very clean and nice portable that was heated which was nice since it was January and the temperature was 14° at night. You can adjust the water flow and temperature of the tub by using the provided sprinkler head. Tubs are drained and cleaned after each visitor is done. Reservations can be hard to get mostly on the weekends. Weekdays tend to have more openings. You may need to wait months before you can go with your reservation.Overall it was a great experience for me and will be back to enjoy other tubs

If I could Give 6 Stars I would. First what a truly unique, simple, restful and beautiful experience and stay. We stayed at the Hacienda house about 1 1/2 mile away from the inn and hot tubs which was wonderful. For Birders, seekers of solitude and beauty it a marvelous place to stay. The accommodations, friendliness and help of the staff, the hot spring upkeep could not have been better. I would recommend not saying any less than 2 to 3 nights to experience it all. This place is not for people who want to eat out every meal or have someone entertain you. You are on your own to enjoy the sunsets and sunrises, birds, critters (lizards, coyotes, cattle grazing). The unique cowboy, settler, rancher history of the area and place is amazing if you take a little time to seek it out. We will most definitely make this an annual visit from our home in SoCal.

We had such a great trip. Well kept sites, great views and the hot spring was so soothing. The bathroom update is amazing. I've never seen better bathrooms at a camp site. Make sure you check out the cemetery at the top of the hill. We will be back.

Such a pleasant surprise. I really enjoyed our stay. There are a lot of rules about noise but that also means it is quiet. Clean warm restrooms. Sites are far enough apart. They did a great job with well places barrier privacy walls that it still feels open. All the sites seemed good except for 7. Unless you don't care about privacy. Also the tubs seemed clean. I plan to come back, really a gem.

We stayed at Benton Hot Springs Inn for two nights last week. We stayed in JV Suite, which was very clean, artistic, and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot springs in the early morning and just after sunset each day. There are three tubs for Inn guests, the smallest one is the hottest, the medium one is warm-hot, and the largest one is warm. We hiked to the hot creek and saw the source of the hot spring. There were pieces of obsidian in the dirt and we collected some. We hiked past the hot spring source, into the canyon where there are huge boulders, and saw remnants of Native American presence, such as grinding holes that were ground into rocks. Such a fascinating place and the hot springs were healing. We even enjoyed soaks in the bathtub of our room.

Wonderful place to find absolute peace and relief! I can't express how delighted we both felt after spending a couple nights. We booked our next stay while we were still there haha. The tubs can be drained, too by turning a knob on the side, just in case any bugs get in during the night or you just want to refresh your tub. Oh and the stars were so beautiful. Seeing the milky way while getting toasty in the natural spring tub was so delightful. We saw a sweet family of quail come through our peaceful camp.Tub site 6 is the party tub, perfect for multiple people and vehicles. Tub site 3 is the most private and the one we booked for our next trip.

This is the best campground I have ever been. The quality of the springs is excellent. The water in bath tub is drained and cleaned every time the guests change, so it is very clean. Each camp site is far enough away and there are partitions so that you can have some privacy. The view is also very open. Anyway, the hot spring is so nice that you can soak in it for hours. The water temperature is adjustable. In the summer, there are horseflies, so you need insect repellent. There is a cape right above the hot spring in summer, but it will be removed in winter. The toilets are very tidy.

We recently had two trailers at Tub Site #4 and wanted to share some follow up. First, be warned that if you are driving a large RV or travel trailer, DO NOT try to drive into the parking area in front of the Inn. There is no turnaround! Park further west in the Museum area and walk back to the check in board to get your information. The entrance to the tubs is east, around the corner, from the Inn and up a short hill through a chained gate. The tubs are immaculate and have clear, hot water circulating. We camped in late June which was very hot and we welcomed the shade in site #4. Some sites have little or no shade so pick carefully or come during the cooler months. The vistas from many sites are amazing and the peace and quiet are wonderful. This is truly a unique camping experience and we are very glad we stayed here. Minimal contact check in so COVID safe there and at the tub sites.

This is my third visit to the tub camping site. This is my first time here in mid-May, where the weather can range from 45° for the low to 85° for the high. So there is the possibility that you will have a hot tub that you don't want to use if the afternoon is a hot one, though it does cool down nicely at night. The half dozen species of birds out here sound wonderful and are busily preparing their nests for the season. Likewise, the three different species of ants that I have spotted are very aggressively, exploring biting and looking for food. Same goes for the mosquitoes so be sure to bring repellent. I do love the laid-back atmosphere and the emphasis on privacy for each site. The bathrooms are clean and surprisingly modern, though they heat up immensely in the sun. There is a dishwashing station with hot water. Note there are no water spigots anywhere on property, that I have seen, that have cool running water. There is a dumpster for camper trash as well as recycling containers. There is no RV dump or filling station. The Wi-Fi is pretty quick and there are multiple access points.

Such a cute, quaint, little getaway. The staff was very accommodating, and more than helpful with answering any questions that we had. The hot breakfast that was delivered to our room in the morning exceeded our expectations. The Hot Springs in cells were very clean and well-maintained. The location also had several restrooms available on site and was easy to navigate.

A perfect winter getaway far from civilization but with very comfortable amenities! STAYING at JV Suite Room 9. It’s adjacent to the road and has the views of white mountain. Its in the corner of the courtyard which is perfect for me, however, its a walk from the semi private outdoor tubs and garden with the mini pond. The check in was contactless. You need to sign the paper works after the entrance. The door is open and the room key was inside. The JV suite has some Victorian inspired pieces and the flooring is similar to stucco Spanish style. My only complaints but its minor is that 1. The bathroom sink drains slowly and 2. for some reasons , I caught a lot of white fur (like from a cat) from my clothesWifi is strong and theres adequate electricity. Not much to do but relax and get away from city noiseThe best experience were the hot tubs. Perfect for winter weather. Guests are really respectful of privacy and no loud music whatsoever. I had an evening soak with full moon overlooking the white mountains with crickets as background soundThe staff helped me as well with the propane grill.Very unique experience and would definitely come back to try the private hot tubs campsites

Love our stay at the Tub Sites! As a hot spring afficionado, I had to visit the Benton Hot Springs. We stayed for one night, tub was super clean and the temperature was perfect to soak for hours without getting overheated. There's nothing better than sitting in the hot tub at night with the crisp air around you, watching the stars for hours.Bring a robe and extra towels with you if you're camping. Will definitely be back again in the future to spend a full day.

Rented private tub site T11. It's no frills camping (no hookups) but there are bathrooms with flush toilets available a short walk up the driveway. No campfires were allowed due to a county burn ban; I understand they have no control over this, but a heads up would have been appreciated. The water here is not heavily mineralized and has no noticeable odor, so people put off by the smell of other geothermal hot springs would probably enjoy this one. The site felt very secluded except that the entry side wasn't very well screened; this wasn't a problem since we simply parked our camper across that side. The campground was nice and quiet and the sky was very dark -- great stargazing while you're soaking! I'll definitely be coming back.

This is simply one of the best places on earth. I have gone every year for many years. The Inn has wonderfully decorated rooms enclosing a magical courtyard, the hot springs have amazing views of the White Mountains with a cottonwood tree above, and tasty breakfasts. The campgrounds are wonderful. We have stayed many times in The Old House--you walk into a set from the Old West, including a big comfy kitchen, porch with swing, and your own hot tub. The land here is gorgeous in every direction, with countless places to hike in the quiet gorgeous landscape. Bill and Diane are wonderful hosts. The memories of these trips sustain me throughout the year. Awesome!

Incredible place. Very out of the way and peaceful. Great hot tubs, amazing views and a really decent size RV site. Stayed in site #10 and could see people driving past as its the first site on the road but it wasn't too much of an issue with the fence there. Managed to get a spotty one bar of cell service with AT&T when standing on a mound nearby. Really looking forward to going again sometime. Make sure you pack everything you need because there's nothing for miles around.
