What a lovely Pet store! There's so many unique and new pet foods at this place that you don't see at the big chain stores. They have some sweet cats to be adopted as well. Too many good things in this store to list here, but I would go here before the big chains from now on. They have a large room to bathe your pets as well.

Every time I come in here, there is a party of employees at the cash register, but no one acknowledges you. The only one who has been helpful over the years is the older guy with glasses. Friends of animals was a horrible experience of the same exact thing. The volunteers are in the way of the narrow cubby they keep cats, socializing with each other but ignoring the people looking to adopt. There is only this option in benicia. I drive out of town.Please, don't get it wrong. I try back every once in a while to give them the benefit of the doubt. But I never seem to leave happy. I'll try back in a year or so. I do want to support local2 stars for that 1 guy. Thank you, sir!

I go here when I want to bathe my dogs. People working in this store are always helpful and friendly. There's always dogs walking around the store shopping with their owners.

Oh my goodness it was so clean and well organized! All the employees were helpful and kind naturally. Although the prices are a tad bit higher than other places, it is worth the extra few cents for the comfort knowing you have quality items and safe pet friendly toys

Pet Express is a happy place. It's one of my dogs favotite places to go. Kayla goes up to the cashier as soon as she can to get a treat. They are always friendly.

Took my maltese foster to get a bath and decided to buy some new combs for him. (Sorry I did not get the person's name now. By the time I was done cleaning my boy; they were off helping another customer). But you know who you are! :) It was nice to hear someone that loves their job guide me and help me pick the best option. Totally made a huge difference with the entire grooming process! Staff is very warm & welcoming every time I visit the store. Every employee that I have had the good fortune to meet is knowledgeable about the products that they sell & they are dedicated to helping pets live the best lives possible especially through the high quality of food they offer. They helped me through the critical illness of my 14 yr. old dog and has helped me to help her get back to good health through the high quality of nutrition they offer. They also have a great selection of holistic products and they will help you to customize the products you need without over-selling.

Very nice and helpful staff. Plentiful pet goodies. A full service pet wash. Grooming, and a weekly vet clinic on Fridays, for reasonable priced shot's and other needs that would cost a bundle at a veterinarian.

There are no safety measures or checks and balances for aggressive dogs, so all are welcome. An aggressive dog came in yesterday and lunged at another dog. A man stepped in who identified himself as a Trainor. He did the right thing and protected another dog and who i think was his girlfriend or wife who appeared to be pregnant. The store was unprofessional, yelled at him, wouldn't listen, just blamed him, kicked him out and then proceeded to give the offending dog and owner free merchandise. We put our stuff down and walked out. We will never shop at this store again. The staff was unprofessional and I'm disgusted with them. Do better corprate I will be following up...

Overall a good shopping experience. My brand of dog kibble is always in stock. The Just for Dogs wet is also readily available. The store is clean and organized. Cat adoptions happening, as happens on the weekends. Cashier took me immediately so I didn't have to wait in line. Cashier was efficient & friendly. (My fave cashier wasn't there today. I think she has blue or pink hair. So nice! Always friendly, helpful and has something interesting to share.)

Huge selection for nearly every kind of pet. Friendly staff, everyone was totally cool with my cat coming in on a leash and sampling all the cat towers/ looking down on dogs. The company facilitates adoptions, provides the highest quality foods for dogs and cats, and has an awesome self-wash room for dogs. Most of all though, every time I've been in, every staff member has been a total sweetheart and obvious animal lover that was just stoked on our cat, making us feel welcome. This store keeps us coming back <3

Typical high-end pet store. Not too broad of selections & mediocre brand items are marked up unnecessarily high. I gave some stars because their gourmet & refrigerated pet food selection is the best in town. So if you're into paying more for Sparky's dinner than your own, this is your place.

So thankful for staff that work here. The girl that helped me saved me from a vet bill when my cat had a bladder infection and helped me get all the home remedy solutions. And it worked!! Wish I got her name to properly thank her.

Employees are always friendly and helpful. Have bought supplies here for our two cats.Just used one of the vet services they do here on Saturday and they were great. Had our two new kittens get their shots, checked for worms, microchipped, and blood taken to check for diseases for a fraction of the normal vet. Really helped us out since we had these guys turn up on us unexpectedly.

We enjoy the pet bathing services. Once a year they offer a deal on the wash/dry machine tokens. Frequent about every other month.

Love this store, they have pet adoption every Saturday from 10am - 2pm. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend for any pet needs.

This has been my go-to place to pick up dog food , as the brand I get is not carried at PetSmart. The employees are pretty knowledgeable and always friendly. I do like the "drive-thru" dog washing station, as I call it.

I like Pet Food Express as they have a very clean environment. They carry much more than food. Many of the things for total care of your pet. I have finally found a wet food my Chihuahua enjoys. She's older and lost many teeth. I found disposable litter boxes for my cat. We're moving from Bay Area, CA to Northern CA near the border. It is a perfect find for the trip. One type even comes with the litter!

My German shepherd who is super sensitive had a great time saying hello to all the friendly workers there. My dog never greets people and is usually stand offish or a ball of nerves. Must be the quarantine getting to her because she kept approaching everyone and everyone wanted to pet her. I love going there for their dog showers. It's just so convenient and a fun way to get out of the house.

We come here for the pet washing experience. We like it, our dog, not so much. The bath is $15.00 for 20 min., we usually make our cleaning in under that time. Td he rubs are a good height and there is an array of soaps, or you can being your own. There are towels and an apron to keep you semi dry, your feet will get wet some. Finally a blow drier to finish it off. Good spot.
