This place is an absolute gem!! All the plants your heart desires are here. Darling home and garden decor, candles, canning/gardening supplies, cute kids toys, and a whole section for dog treats! I could spend hours here! Staff is so helpful and kind. They close at 5pm! Parking along sides of building. A-MUST-SEE!!!

This is a wonderful place. I've lived in this area since 1964 and I've driven by this place literally hundreds of times and never stopped in for some reason. So today when I was taking my mom on the drive up the valley she saw the spot and said I'd like to see it. So we went around the block and came back and proceeded to have the greatest time. We spent over an hour and a half in this place looking around at all the beautiful things that they have to offer. I had no idea this place even existed. And it looks so small from the front but it is so big when you get in there. There are several different buildings that have different things to shop for. If you live anywhere in this area you'd be doing yourself a favor by checking it out there's a coffee shop across the street get yourself a cup of coffee and wander on in because these people are friendly and they welcome that. One of the workers told me that people come just to hang out sometimes. Well I can see why, it's a really mellow cool place I don't know what else to say they have cat and dog toys up the kazoo. They have multiple types of plants, flowers, trees, cactus, it's unbelievable that they fit so much stuff under the roof. Plus whoever decorated the place has done a wonderful job there a little hidden things everywhere there's an entire tractor behind a bunch of saplings this place is so cool I could just keep going on and on I put a bunch of pictures up hopefully I didn't double them up too badly! 2020 and still going!!!!!!!

Mountain Feed is the most amazing gardening & homestead DIY supply spot imagine'able. Should we get married, my partner and I have had multiple serious conversations that our wedding registry should be 100% Mountain Feed.In addition to necessary stables of bird feed, baby chick feed, their plant selection (especially drought- or deer- or natives) is fantastic. Their canning jars, canning aids (pectin), fermentation supplies (wine yeast, cheese cultures, jar air-locks). It is the rare day we escape the store without a new plant, seed packet, or pot.For our 4-acre property, I ordered all sorts of fruit trees our first year plating (30+ total, from 3 nurseries). The top two vigorous growers (2 yrs later) were from Mt Feed (great odds and success- only 4/30 of those total trees were from Mt Feed originally).All the staff is super-knowledgeable and helpful! My partner once lost a credit card in the parking lot and the staff held it until we showed up again, retracing his steps.Their curation is impeccable. The quality is top-notch. This place is absolute candy to gardeners and DIY folk. Thank you so much! We are so thankful to have you as a local business making Ben Lomond such an adorable and complete town!

This is my favorite place in SLV. They have healthy food my cat will actually eat and everything you need for your garden and livestock. They are extremely knowledgeable about what grows in this area, plus the soil and chill hours needed. They can answer all your mountain garden questions and order what you need. They sell Four Winds' Trees which are superior trees without a doubt. There is always someone there ready to help load up the car with my gardening and homesteading needs. Also, a great place to get a wedding, shower or birthday gift, and they wrap. The buyers for the gift shop have the same careful, knowledgeable and artistic eye as the buyers for the garden section. Definitely an SLV gem and local favorite for many reasons.

Such an adorable place! Awesome Christmas trees for the holiday season. For every other time of the year, great pet supplies and little gifts. Always a pleasure to shop here. Staff is consistently friendly and helpful. I've never had an unpleasant experience. They carry some interesting plants and other cool items and gifts, along with the basics for caring for plants and animals. I can order beekeeping supplies online for cheaper, but I prefer to shop local and be able to get opinions from the many beekeepers who work there.

From seedlings to beehives to 10% off books to farmers kitchen supplies to a beautiful gift shop I feel like there's not much I need for my household that this place can't provide! I love spending money with mountain feed. Every penny feels like money well invested, and kept local at that. They can help you feed your family, your animals, your garden, and your soil. One of my all time favorite stores for garden, both landscape and veg, farm/homestead supplies, pet and animal supplies, gifts, indoor plants and a good vibe. They are open. I was theater before noon on a Wednesday and it was calm and relaxed, few people, limited capacity in the indoor areas, and MASKS ARE REQUIRED. I felt completely safe.

We drive 45 minutes to go this feed store versus others choices much closer to us. As we were leaving today, I said to my husband, the thing with Mountain Feed is it isn't just a place to pick up what you need, or an errand store, it's an experience and one that I truly look forward to. The staff is awesome and all seem so happy to be working there, and the owners are the most personable, helpful and lovely folks. And, its more like walking through an americana art gallery or great vintage store than a pet/farm supply store. There are so many interesting, beautiful items yet also all of the things you could ever need for your pets and ranch supplies at great prices. I left there today with all the food we needed for our horses, dogs, cats, chickens and emus, but also with 6 lovely, huge purple artisan terra cotta planters that I can't wait to plant. I absolutely love this place.

This is a place I like to go even if I don't exactly need anything because it feels good to be there. And when they were out of something I did need, they called to tell me it came in, giving me an excuse to go back when I was supposed to be cleaning the garage. They have a bunch of supplies for taking care of plants and animals, including humans. Instead of a traditional store in one building with a front door, this place is a web of pretty pathways that wander in and out of sheds and cottages full of cool and useful tools and treasures.
