Michael was awesome ! It was late, and I had just gotten off of work, and it also happened to be my daughter’s 15th birthday…. I was stressed.. and was thinking about where I might find a last minute cake.Michael who typically works the meat counter was washing equipment in the back. And saw that I needed assistance. He openly admitted to being “a little” unfamiliar with the cake/pastry department. But was optimistic, and assured me that I would get taken care of.After just a few moments he had his gloves on and was ready to assist. He helped me choose a cake for my daughter that ultimately made her night. And I couldn’t have been more happy. (And the cake was delicious !) Thank you 🙏!

This Stater Bros. market is clean and is normally well stocked. The store is well lit and the employees, while not the most friendliest, are for the most part professional. While the prices are definitely not the cheapest, if I do not feel like going to my normal food market, I will end up getting my groceries from here.

Often very crowded, however not their fault, the city was smaller when they built it lol. Most cashiers are friendly with good customer service, and a couple are not. Huge hamburgers at the deli. And a very helpful manager with some good assistants.

I received grey deli ham that was slimy from the deli attendant, about 1 month ago. It was obviously bad and had foul odor. Every time I go i look at the cooked ham to make sure its still pinkish or fresh looking. Yesterday I was doing my weekly groceries and i asked the deli attendant if i can have 2lb of a fresh looking ham and he refused saying they had to finish of the one that they had opened even though it looked completely grey. I really hope they fixed this soon. I also have witness the meat attendings grabbing the meat that i ordered with their bare hands instead of using gloves or a bag. Very gross

I went in today to buy some groceries with my kids. The cashier by the name of Natalyn and her partner made our shopping experience amazing and fun. Excellent customer service!!! Will definitely continue shopping at store #173.

Very poor management when it comes to freshness of products. Always check expiration dates when picking up perishables, they don’t bother to pull expired items. Just found the 1lb container of sliced ham I bought was expired. This has happened to us several times now.

I’m very disappointed with Stater Bros customer service. Your website says “satisfaction Guarantee “What a joke !I ordered items from Instacart today but canceled my order . For some reason the cancellation wasn’t recognized with the Instacart app. I went shopping in person and upon arriving home I noticed 3 shopping bags on my doorstep. I immediately contacted stater bros. I was told if I bring back the merchandise with my receipt I would get a full refund. Went back and then was told I couldn’t receive a refund. I also contacted Instacart and told that Stater bros was the only store I could get a refund from.Very disappointing that I was told to come in the store . Then told I couldn’t receive a refund. I have all the products unopened with my receipt.Shame on you. I’ve contacted my credit card company to file a dispute claim.I shop at Stater Bros a lot . Now I will just drive a few miles farther. To go to the other Stater bros in town.I have Stage 4 cancer and I’m on strict budget due to my medication and Chemo.Thanks for absolutely nothing. Now I’m out of $127.00 and have product I don’t need.I can see if I open stuff or don’t have the receipt. I also said I don’t want a refund for the service fees or the tip. Just please refund me the merchandise.

Newer Stater Bros in Cherry Valley.. OMG, I'm impressed with this store.. Shopped a Staters Store in Corona for 50+ years.. Moved to Cherry Valley today and walked into the local store and was BLOWN AWAY.. Excellent selection, friendly people working there, clean to a fault.. Will be shopping there, no doubt...

This is our go to grocery store for last minute items.Employees are always nice and helpful when we ask for a location of an item.Always well stocked unlike a few other stores in the area.Hours are perfect when you just need to run to the store for eggs.It's not super busy but the parking lot is always full.I'll return because it's convenient! !Never had an unpleasant experience!I also like the convenience of the register at the deli to pay for drinks and hot foods!

The food here is almost twice as costly as nearby grocery stores. Also, the past few times I’ve ordered food from the deli and it’s been nearly inedible. Will think twice before shopping here again.

Hey Staters I'm having a problem how can I retrieve my unfinished review? It asked if I wanted to discard? I pressed NO and it disappeared how do I get back to where I was? Better yet, if I can't get back to it here's a couple of pictures of my experience the cake I ordered and the cake I picked up I'll get back to it tomorrow and start all over again with my review my experience in that store. Needed to be told, this beautiful birthday cake was for my beautiful granddaughter just turned 10 years old, she received a metal and a promotion in gymnastics, as well as honor roll award in school. I really have mixed feelings about this store. Their are a few gems there but, their are a few people that are not in the right job, because they are so cold and their face maybe would crack if they smiled. But, A few cashiers and a few courtesy clerks make a big difference and go out of their way to be helpful. Sorry about the low rating. Also, the night shift Managers are very nice also.

I love Staters for certain marinated meats, breads and veggies you can't get at Aldi. They also always have fresh herbs and beautiful flowers to choose from.

Staters is great about fair pricing. I bought an aluminum baking pan,a disposable kind,and apparently the one I picked was in the wrong stack,and the wrong price. When I told the cashier Wendy,she checked the price and went and gave me price I thought it said. Now days it's the little things that matter. I've been a staters customer since the 80's,and I appreciate the great customer service and cleanliness of all the staters I shop in.

Jeannette sandwich department is so wonderful, I really appreciate her and she is the nicest person. The staff are so nice, women are excellent and very courteous, Stater Brothers have a very group of nice people in the meat department, very nice.

The staff is friendly, and the store is relatively clean. The reason I gave three instead of four or more stars is because the quality of the fresh items, particularly the produce has dropped in quality. I just brought home some grapes, and the next day they were rotten. Also, they should consider taking the low price leader off of their slogan because they're the most expensive in the neighborhood.

I been living in Cherry Valley all my life! I been going to Staters at Oak Valley since it opened. I know the demographic has changed, but today I felt the impact in this store. The clerk and an old Caucasian women made me feel the worst at grocery store. I felt discriminated and disrespected. I will never return to this Staters Bros or this company. I very little shop there because of the quality but for now I will drive to Vons in Redlands. Be careful everyone. Also always check your receipts they will have sales on items and still charge the original price. Sale 5.99 but was charged 7.99.

Crazy today I went into Stater brothers to get some meat ground from the meat dept.the butchers seemed like two young children behind the counter one was a blonde haired boy he couldn’t have been older than 17(If I can find out his name I will post it at a later date so you people can stay away from there and him personally )I asked him if he could grind a couple of chuck steaks for me he said yes but it would take about 10 minutes then he switch to 15 minutes told me I could shop and come back I was done with my shopping so I told him I would just wait he turned around and then told me it would take 30 minutes to get my ground meat at this point I didn’t trust him I did not think I would get the actual meat I wanted ground he would probably substitute it for a lesser meat he did offer me roast instead of the steak I wanted I stuck with the steak but he insisted that it would take 30 minutes now to grind the meat for me I told him to just put the steaks back There was no manager in the store to make a complaint which was another thing nobody is held responsible nowadays for anything and kids just don’t wanna work sad that our local stores can’t help people with quality service used to be able to rely on the butcher the baker nowadays they’re just children filling shoes of somebody who used to be responsible and professional, These two boys that were behind the counter are far from being professional at their craft I will not shop their meat department again I will go out of my way to go to a different store rather than ever get stuff from here again concerning the meat department

I love Starter Bros. Shout out to the amazing Brown family. We miss Jack!!! Their customer service is great and their selection keeps getting better and better. One of the only places out here to find real Parmiggiano Reggiano; not kidding!

This market is always clean and the associates are friendly and helpful. Seeing the same people working there tells me they are satisfied with their jobs. Also seeing managers man a register when lines are long tells me a lot about respect for their associates and clients.

Pretty sure I was just profiled, just tried to get change for a 100 dollar bill. She looked at me and straight out told me no said " I don't have it ". Didn't even say you have to buy something first, i would have said ok. But It's 1pm how do you not have change. Since when is it frowned upon a person having large bills trying to get change. This was the worst customer service ever!
