I stayed here for one night since it was the only affordable option in the area and I needed to catch a morning flight in Sacramento.We checked in at the main lobby and was told we would be staying in Tranquil Buttes, which is another lodging building down the road. Tranquil Buttes is a very standard lodging building that I compared to a time capsule. The rooms are very dated, but it was surprising to see that it came with the standard amenities of a modern hotel room. Wifi, hairdryer, ice machine, vending machines, free laundry. Not many people stayed here when we did, so it was nearly deserted.There isn't a lot to do at Beale, and food places close early. We arrived at 7:30 PM on Saturday night, and all of the restaurants on base were closed. The only food options were in town, which would've been a 15-30 minute drive each way.

It’s 69 year old military billeting. It’s not a Hilton, but it’s a place to stay while TDY to Beale. If you stay in town it’s probably a 30-45 min drive to and from the base.Rooms: It has a bed and desk.Nearby activities: Base gym and running/walking trail is nearby.

The staff is always helpful and welcoming. I stayed at the TLF for about 6months on an AD tour with the clinic. They were very accommodating provided excellent service.The manager Ms. Gina ensures that guests are well taken care of and trains her staff to go above and beyond!I look forward to staying with them again.

The hotel was quite,clean and close to my family. My granddaughter is military. We had a death in the family, my son died and coming from Texas, we needed a place to stay close by to make arrangements. Thank you for your service and kindness.Rooms: Nice spacious room ,2 TV 📺 fridge, microwave,coffee and tea. Nice shower, air conditioner and heating, clean sheets and carpet, wifi. Living room. Like a one bedroom.Safety: I felt very comfortable and safe hereNoteworthy details: Very memorable 💖

The room was clean, no issues with cleanest. The only issue that I had was that I was unable to turn down the heat in the room. Thank God they placed a fan inside the room and that I was able to open the window.Don't asume that the room is near the checking office.I stayed there because I wanted to be closer to the Hard Rock Casino

Had visiting family stay here. There were no rooms available with private bathrooms, so they stayed in VOQ. The staff came and cleaned/restocked every day. Nice comfy rooms, a little dated. Only issue was the sheets had medical equipment and stains on them, but the staff replaced them immediately. They do have a snack area with a good selection open 24 hours so that's nice

Inexpensive, and comfortable. We were unware when booking that common areas would be shared, so we bave a private room and bathroom, but kitchen and living room are sharedsoaces. There are 4 rooms and one common area. Its kind of annoying because the whole house shares a thermostat, my husband and I are always hot so we like the air on and throughout the night. The people staying here at the same time as us had the heat on instead of the air and we adjusted it from 76 to 72 and 5 minutes later they came out and turned it back onto heat. Its 91 degrees outside, heat really? So thats very annoying to deal with. Other than that people are quiet and keep to themselves. The rooms are dated, but plenty of room for me and my husband. The showers really need some TLC, the shower head sprays in every direction and we only have warm or cold water. But this will do for a few days. Staff at the main office was friendly and pleasant to talk to.

Most of the rooms are very dated and lack amenities; the VOQs are located miles from main base and have an outdated common kitchen that is shared by four rooms. The Tranquil Butts rooms are larger, located on main base, and private, but only have a mini-fridge and coffee maker, and are similarly really old. The TLFs are very new and nice, but the lodging office wants to give these only to PCS'ing families.

Currently staying here, we have ants coming from the sinks and mice in the walls. Our shower didn't drain but they came and fixed it. A bunch of black water came up after they pulled out chunks of hair. Our door leading to the hallway didn't close or even latch, and now, after being fixed, our card doesn't work for it. Luckily there is another entry into the living room. Which is really the only benefit.I can definitely see the potential in this hotel if they looked and fixed some issues. I shouldn't have to wake up to ants on me after someone has already posted a review stating that there were ants.The staff is very friendly and helpful, but again, they need to be more aware of issues and find them before their guests.

The rooms are very old and smell very much that way too. If you're trying to save money and can compromise on comfort, this place will not bother you. However, if a soft bed and nice cozy sleep is what you desire, you may not like this hotel. The sheets are scratchy and I felt like something was biting me all night.

The staff was nice, VOQ was weird. There are 4 bedroom houses they use each room for guest (co-Ed). Each bedroom has a private bath, but you share the living room, kitchen and laundry with strangers.I got a room in VAQ where you share a bath. Much better privacy, but still sharing the bathroom 😐.

First off, check in is 3 miles away. Its a 4 bedroom house converted into a hotel. Each room has its own bathroom. Its central cooling and heating so everyone In the duplex has to agree on thetemperature. Shared living room and kitchen. Washer and dryer in the house. 2nd time staying here....This place is OLD and needs to go.

The building need updating but other than that the front desk staff and the quality of service you get cant be beat! As long as you make your reservations in a timely manner you are almost ALWAYS guaranteed a room, or TLF for that matter.

Definitely some of the best military lodging I have ever had. The rooms with common areas are literally actual houses. If I'm ever near Beale again, this place will be at the top of my list for lodging.

Called and finally got through to be put on hold for 2 and a half hours. I called on another phone but each time I got through nobody picked up they just disconnected. Tried to call the manager the next duty day (Monday) and the answering machine required a password to leave a message for the manager. Of course I do not have the password, but I bet it keeps the manager from having to answer questions from unhappy customers.

Stayed here a while back. Ants in the room, shower wasn't very clean, and I swear there's a skunk that lives under the building as the room reeked of skunk spray every single night.

Buildings are dated, but are well maintained and cleaned regularly. We enjoyed our stay.
