His personal is very gentel and you can find many things in groceries, meats, vegetables, fruits and many more things for home

What happened to the hamburger??? I’ve been out of the country for a few months and came back to worse hamburger than other countries. I used to love their burger and would make the extra trip to get it. Now it is fatty, big big chunks of fat, and chunks of bone and the meat is chewy. I got some with several pieces of that silver sinuet stuff. My husband bought 10 lbs, and it is not edible. I won’t even feed it to my dogs. Not worth the trip out there if the meat isn’t edible. Beale… do better.

I enjoy shopping here but I’m very disappointed every single time I buy fruit a bunch of it has mold on it or molds the next day. Meat is almost iffy unless you eat same day. I recommend looking at dates closely. Love my deli sandwiches I get and frozen breakfast stuff but I wish they were better at taking old foods off the shelves caring a little more. Over all I enjoy shopping here and the staff is extremely friendly and super helpful.

The produce is the worst ever in most commissaries and prices are the highest. Not really saving any moneywhen you have to pay 5% surcharge and feel obligated to tip baggers.

Very helpful and kind people that work here. Everything was so organized and well kept. Impressive on how everything was maintained with so little staffing any day of the week. Having access to shopping makes it much worth the trip to get here! Freedom Choice, Top Care, and Homebase products are great and comparable products to your leading brands at a much cheaper price. This is a service for our Military, Retirees, and Family. The privilege to shop here is is much appreciated.

Rude and disrespectful customer service! The manager is horrible, who likes to insult you to OTHER customers as you are checking out your own groceries in self check out. The produce is never fresh and rots same day or within a few days. The only reason we go here is because it is close, but never again. I rather make a pick up order else where and eat cereal for dinner before ever going back for even just a few items. It's sad that this community doesn't have a decent grocery store to shop at and has to drive to the city for any kind of quality, costumer service and food alike.

Make sure you check the sale by dates on everything you purchase. They are notorious for selling expired items. I would also never buy beef products here. The meat is always oxidized and turning brown. Most times you can get some good produce and the coupons they have out are a nice bonus.

I want to like this place... But product variety is limited, items are all of a sudden no longer on shelves/sold, often I get home with expired deli or dairy items because i am not vigilant when I put them in my cart. Its irritating. They need to add more self check out too.

Rude and disrespectful management. Food is almost always expired. Frequently find bugs in my produce, especially onions. We've tried so many times to be positive and give this place a chance and they constantly let us down. Today, a manager was blatantly disrespectful to me when there was an issue with my transaction. When I called her out on her attitude, she claimed to have none and hid in her office until I left. It's sad that this place is the only close option on base.

I do not like this place for one I think we all can agree on poor costumer service! I am irritated! I was checking out in self check out to get through fast and two employees were looking right dead at me talking about me and my full cart which I was in 40 items honey thank you! And then I didn't know how to use the non scan items and he told me what to press all super slow like I'm stupid I was embarrassed and upset... they always give you nasty looks and I see it's not just me. I believe they need to have management give them a lesson on costumer service skills because at my old job I was a cashier and I treated my guest with compassion and smiled.

It's ok, not a wide selection. Not alot of organic. Prices are good, meat quality is awesome but fresh produce quality is terrible . It's good when you dont want to go anywhere else.

If you have been to a commissary before nothing should be a surprise. If you haven't been to a commissary before; it's clean, quiet, and stocked. Expect to tip the person who bags your groceries. I find that service to be awkward. Don't expect to shop here on Monday, since they are closed.

This commissary is one of the worst I've been to. The meat, produce and bread go bad incredibly fast, I've even had to pick around rotting produce to find something that might last for dinner the same night. This place is never busy which is probably part of the expiration issues. I have brought back moldy bread and received a replacement or refund.

Awesome. Great prices, compared to the civilian market. They have just about everything for you and your family to live on. Hours aren't the greatest but everything on Beale closes early.

This place is great for things like cereal. It has good but few brands ie only one half n half cheap tax free but appropriately ripe produce can be lacking

For a small commissary they have most everything you could need or want. Very friendly and helpful people. My only complaint would be the debit credit reader is confusing but it's the same one at every other commissary obviously

Always has great stock, some cashiers have atitudes for no apparent reason, otherwise great place to shop for meat, produce, and foreign food products.

Cheaper prices but less quality vegs. Meat is okay and the butcher in the back will custom cut meat if you ask.

Great and convenient. The meat, milk, and bread don't last long so don't buy in bulk if you're not going to eat it quick!

Love to use our military benefits and Beale AFB commissary is clean with the friendliest ppl working there. Very relaxed experience. It's our go to shopping spot when we shop for our big shopping trips.

Different selection from other chain grocery stores. Can actually get fruit like pomegranate or pineapples cheaper than other places and deli is fantastic!

Seems like all the "fresh" food I get here spoils within a day or two. I have also had worms in my fruit countless times.

It's okay, some things do expire fast but at least it's cleaner than Yuba City's Walmart. So far everyone at the commissary seems nice and helpful when I go.

Great staff found most of what I needed, could use better checks on expiration dates so your not buying milk that expires in 2 days

Solid variety, good prices, clean store, friendly staff, quick in and out unless you come during rush hour or lunch.

Beale's Commissary (and the Commissary system across all CONUS AF bases), need to open their doors to ALL military veterans who have Honorably separated from active or reserve duty.Rarely is there a wait at Beale's Commissary checkout registers, but then there is barely any sizable group of shoppers inside. With the amount of staff on duty, the Commissary must be bleeding money in overhead costs!
