What a beautiful end result this trail has. The start seems rough but once you get to the end, it is super serene and worth the twists and turns. For what it's worth, this is a very tough hike. I would not recommend it for young kids since the trail is fairly slippery and quite high/low.Also suggest very good hiking shoes.Parking: $10 per car to park for this hike.

Careful when hiking in winter or after rains, trail can be very muddy and icy. Recommend proper trail shoes and going midday after ice has melted. If going in peak summer, most likely waterfalls will be nonexistent due to the drought, but trail will be easier to traverse. There are several ways to access the waterfalls from the trail and both intersecting roads. Just be wary of footing and keep an exit climbing path in mind. We nearly slipped several times due to moss and slick. We didn’t get a chance to go up to the Devil’s slide due to the trail conditions, but will definitely be trying it next time in the spring or early summer.

Nice peaceful trail in the wilderness. Saw a dead ravoon and a black bear. The creek was swollen due to the winter snow. Had difficulty finding parking in the Bass Lake area but in the end we did. There is a $10.00 fee for all day pking. Trail not suited for everyone. There are places that you have to jump over fallen trees and that are steep. Rest rooms are in the Lake area.

Bass Lake is one of my favorite lakes because of the Willow Creek area and the amazing natural water slide the creek makes as it spills into the lake. Depending on the water level there are lots of rocks to jump off of (when the water is high) and a big beach area (when the water is low). As far as I know, the lake is owned by PG&E and they start to empty it toward the end of July. There's also BBQ grills in this area as well as bathrooms even though it's not a campground. Parking fills up fast so get there early. They also have fireworks every 4th of July. If the lake is really full, this area may not be the best view.

Definitely a place to get away to from The Valley heat or just to get away form the city. Lots of places to see and swim or just to do the walk 🚶‍♂️ on the highking trail. One of God's nature's creations at his best.

This was our favorite hike (for a family) in the Yosemite area - not busy, easy-moderate, stunning views. The trail to the top of the waterfall is easy-moderate (my wife and I could do it with babies in carriers and our 2 school age kids walking). Lots of wildflowers and views of the waterfall, river and lake. I would absolutely recommend it to a friend

This was my first time hiking up willow creek starting down by bass . Didnt really have knowledge of where to start and where to end but over all injustice went threw random paths enjoyed dipping into the creek here and there . Weather was perfect sun was up and blazing water was chilly but fair . I will definitely like to do this again some time before the summer is up. Cant waste a good swim by being at home . Sliding down the rocks was the best part and landing in a decent deep pool of water . Take plenty water and snacks they do come in handy . Party on .

Really nice hike. Went up to Angel Falls. About 3.5 miles rt. Beautiful views of Bass Lake. And the water running in the creek provides a tranquil soundtrack to this experience.

It's so peaceful & uncrowded. Great place to clear your mind...see unusual-shaped driftwood, clear running stream, walk over rocks, & take gorgeous pix!

Great hike! Decent parking & beautiful little waterfalls that are worth visiting. Our dog did well on this hike and enjoyed taking a dip in the calmer parts of the water

Nice place to bring your family. Parking is $10 per vehicle. Hike is on your right as you come in amd in the left is the parking for the lake

The trail was overgrown and at times it's hard to manage and hike by. By the stream, it may look beautiful and scenic, however there is a lot of garbage that could be found on the side. People should respect nature and take their garbage with them not leave it there as trash.

Great challenging trail with lots of beautiful waterfalls. Great place to bring the family and beat the heat. Just keep an eye on the kids and yourself, some rocks and parts of the trail are hazardous!

The bottom part is beautiful! I guess we missed a turn because we ware back in half an hour. Not always clear where the trail is heading to. However, still enjoyed it.You need to pay 10 dollars for parking. You can buy a ticket at the other side of the lake at the camp shop or look for a ranger and pay them cash.

Moderate to hard hike. Beautiful scenery. Prepare to sweat and gets a little slippery in some spots. A small log to go over water. Fun. Took 1.5 hours up and then we turned around. It's a one way, no loop.Parking: Small lot, we went around 11 and all spots were open. We got back and it was filled. Very small lot.Fees: $10 for the day and pass can be used at all spots around the lake .

Saw it off the side of the road while we were bike riding across the street from Bass Lake. Checked it out and took pictures.

Very nice area, although beware it is extremely slippery walking along the creek. If you are able to find parking, I would highly recommend checking this place out.

Never found the trailhead, so we walked on the road. Lake was ok, but the smell of pines and the other trees was incredible.

I love Willow Creek trail ! Once you find the hidden entrance, you'll be overcome with the sound of rushing water, and how fresh and cool you'll feel.Hike to the road and find the second part, and you'll find your way to a slide, and 2 falls.I honestly never tire of this trail.Restrooms: The restrooms are well kept, at least near Willow Creek trailhead. They are clean and stocked.Dog-friendliness: I am glad to have seen a few doggos on the trail. Hey..they want to see too 😄
