We love coming here for lunch and dinner. The food is great and the service is friendly. We enjoy sitting outside with our dogs. We go for lunch here at least once every summer.Food & drinks: Burgers are tasty and the shakes are nice and thick. The fries and onion rings are delightfully crispy.

Decent food. Located in a beautiful area in the Sierra Mountains next to Bass Lake. People are nice. Don't go in expecting 5 star food, it's a lake side mountain very casual restaurant. No opinion on rooms because we didn't stay there.Nearby activities: Boating, swimming.

We loved out trip here. The Forks Docks are nice and friendly to people with impaired walking as they aren't as long, which we appreciated. The service in the restaurant was not appreciated at all tho. The wait staff were quick and did their best to attend to everyone. We ordered 6 plates for the table and two to go. We waited an incredibly long time to get our food, which were very simple orders. We waited an enternity to get our to go food which was soggy and had obviously been sitting out by the time we got it. I was very unhappy and do not reccomend the restaurant at all..Noteworthy details: Stay away from the restaurant unless you want soggy food prepared by someone with no love in their soul for food preparation.

Cute little outdoor lunch or dinner by or on the water. Friendly service. A bit pricey for burgers and then a side of fries are extra. It was a pleasant visit with beautiful outdoor weather. Family of 4 ate for under $90.

We ate here for a quick breakfast and it was fast, easy and delicious! They were busy but they got you in quickly, served up some classics and out we were for the day! :) All four of us had the classic eggs, toast, pancakes and coffee! I asked them to add a little Bailey's to mine! 😉 They were quick with refills and any extras we needed! Great small town feel! If we ever visit again, I would come back here! 😁

We stayed in one of the older cabins that has been recently rennovated. They did a really great job! The inside is amazing. The AC has been recently updated too and it kept the space nice and cool for sleeping. The outside of the cabin is rustic and did not get the treatment the inside did. The stairs and hand rail could use some TLC or revamping as they were pretty creaky and could use better lighting at night.Very clean room and even though pets are allowed, there were no signs of previous animals having stayed in the room. Plenty of space, nice bedroom with a closet, and a small kitchenette if you want to cook. However, the restaurant at The Forks is top notch! Great burger, excellent breakfast, and a pretty good bloody mary. You can also get a cocktail or draft beer at the bar located inside the restaurant/shop.The views of the lake from upstairs are breathtaking. Nice quiet stay on Bass Lake. Highly recommend!

Quaint reclusive locale with a cafe to cater to our stomachs during lunch. Although we wanted to do picnic, it was way to chilly to do so. Scenery at the lake was remarkable.We spent some 1.5 hours walking around and taking some photos at the pier. Simply with nature and relishing it’s beauty.

5th generation running this general store, sports center, and restaurant.Located right on Bass Lake, the perfect place to meet friends and family.I had a delicious hamburger, and oh my, the Waldorf salad was outstanding.

waited for an hour and a half for a BLT and Turkey sandwich. While is memorial day, the giant group of 8 people got served 20 min before us. The waitress was also giving us attitude. Lastly, I think my gf and I have food poisoning. Been going to bass lake for 20 years. Save yourself and go to Millers.

I should have taken some photos. This place was much nicer than I ever expected. Decided to stop and walk around nearby and found the store and restaurant to be quite nice. I did not eat, but I probably will come back and do so at some point in time. They have public restrooms and public parking near the store. There is room to walk along the shore of bass lake. There's a swimming area and boat doc just across the street.

The food was flavorful and looked very appetizing! The service was great even though it took a little longer because we went during rush hour. The prices may look like a lot but the serving sizes make it well worth it.

Perfect place for vacationLots of things to do like swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, etc.but if you are not taking an RV or staying at a lodge the bathrooms do not have paper towels or air dryers (being out of state it seems every place usually has hand dryers but no papers towels) and soapIf there is soap in the bathroom it’s supplied by someone who is not the campsiteThe reception is also not the greatest I’m assuming due to their being so many people using their phones it just doesn’t work whatsoever so if you need to use internet go to one of the resorts and there’s wifi thereOther than that it was fun and it’s such a nice location and id definitely recommend walking down to the shore at night and looking at the lake because its just so pretty

Only had lunch here and visited the store. Great place to dine outdoors, relax and enjoy the scenery. Staff friendly. Quickly seated. Killer BLT and onion rings. Ashley was our waitress. Very attentive. The deserts looked delicious, but sadly we didn't have room for more food.

First time this season and it was not disappointing. Had the chicken fried steak and for dessert, Holy Cow ice cream pie. Grady went for the cheeseburger and a side of 50/50 (half fries, half onion rings) They were both super tasty. We ate outdoors, which just added to the ambience. Loved it. Service good. We'll be back.....

The food was amazing. Had the "meal", and the burger was fantastic. Tried a cherry milkshake, and the only problem was the heat outside melted the ice cream too fast. Would definitely eat there again if I'm in the area

My family ate dinner at the Forks restaurant. We ordered burgers and they were delicious! I had a side of onion rings and it was a good portion size. Easily shareable. The service was great and kid friendly. They don't have a kids menu just kid friendly items. We would definitely eat here again.

Wonderful service a great food. I wouldn't recommend their tea though. The water they brew the tea in taste odd. But I love their food. I'd recommend their chicken fried steak and their cheeses burgers.

Chili! Love their chili! We asked for a sample and our waitress was very accommodating with a large sample for everyone to try. Very meaty, not too spicy, great taste. I don't like vegetable chunks in my chili and none to be found.The hamburgers were great!The next morning I had the Mountain breakfast which I loved and it was very filling. Pancakes the size of your plate!Reasonable prices.They are right on the lake.There is a nice little store with necessities and souvenirs.

This place is definitely a gem I've had the burgers not big but very tasty the breakfast is also good lots of food to bad is closed for the next 6 months can't wait for spring you can see Bass Lake looking out the 🍻 very nice and great service

Hands down the best burger on the mountain. The chicken fried steak is classic - larger than the platter and consistently perfect-ish.Ashley was awesome (breakfast and lunch…!).Eating here for 44 years - thank you for the memories.
