This is an awesome location to shop at. Why the one star? Well it's the old saying, a few bad apples can ruin the bunch. Maxine in the lumber dept as well as the young lady at the customer service desk in the lumber dept seem have less than steller customer service skills. It's rare that I review in this manner but I had an awful shopping experience today. With that said, again this is a great location to shop at per all past visits. I will update this review asap.

Home Depot in Barstow is very clean and very easy to navigate whether you're a professional in the industry or a home improvement enthusiasts you're not going to feel lost here and whatever it is you're looking for there's a friendly and knowledgeable employee just around the corner ready and willing to help you out with anything you need with a fantastically great attitude. I really appreciate business's and their employed team members who are able and happy to assist and help educate you on all of your construction and remodeling projects 😀I enjoy shopping at Home Depot any day of the Week.

Is the first time that I was in this store, i can said is small build (i walked around the store in 9 min.) comparison with others store. Is clean, well organized, plenty parking, view was unique.Only thing that you can not find on the store is appliance parts☹☹☹!!!!

Customers - This location is super clean and organized. I'm not sure if this location is brand new or if the staff love their jobs ALOT! This site is so clean (I know, repetitive... I think I'm in shock). The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Our 11 year old son is working on a project. He was able to navigate the store with the help of some of the friendliest Home Depot staff we have ever met. Someone who can help a little boy navigate a big warehouse without getting lost deserves a gold star... And then a separate cashier who patiently waits for the same child to figure out how to pay. Wow! We give this store not one good star but five. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Staff - Thank you for taking such care and consideration of your customers. It was such an awesome shopping experience.Mid-level Management - Great job empowering and training your staff. Your store is unbelievably organized and clean.Upper-level Management - They are doing something right here :)

ORDERED SOME VANITY BATHROOM LIGHTS THE ONLY HOME DEPOT THAT HAD IT OUT OF 40 HOME DEPOT STORES IN CA. THE PLACE WAS CLEAN THE LADIES AT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK WERE QUICK AND MADE PICKING UP MY ORDER EASY.

Home Depot Barstow is a very clean store, most employees are very nice and very helpful. I had a Horrible experience yesterday 10/07/23 at approximately 05:45pm. There was a lost dog wearing a collar who was skinny, hungry, and thirsty in the parking lot area near the gardening. I gave him some dog treats that I had in my car, but I didn’t have water. So I go get water and as I am coming back a male employee threw a bucket of dirty water at the poor dog. Not only was the poor dog hungry, and thirsty now he was soaked in dirty water that will probably cause him skin irritation. The dog ran , I tried to get close to help him but now he was scared. He ran off. It broke my heart. I am nobody to judge, but animals feel pain and hunger just like we do. God bless.

Extremely helpful, Samantha really took care of us and helped us with what we needed for our generator. She was prompt in handling our issue and straight-forward making it stress-free. The other location was helpful too, but her efforts of going above and beyond set Barstow HD apart. My parents and I thank you Samantha!

I asked the employee who was stocking the pest control section if they carry mattress bags, and she replied with some hostility "all the bedbug stuff is right there." They _don't_ have them, and if she works that section she should know that, and if she doesn't work that section she should have taken the time to find out with me.I would lower the rating because of her, but before her I asked someone all the way across the store which department should I search for them, and that young man was a delight. Though busy, he put down what he was working on, walked me to the section he believed would have them, and when they weren't there he began to look via their hand-held devices. I had to stop him, I said "I've kept you from what you were doing long enough, I'll try the pest control section."

They have most categories covered with an ok selection. Almost no welding supplies. Helpful employees if you can find one. They're training a bunch of young newbies, so I'm cautiously hopeful.I could spend thousands in their plant department. So much awesomeness. Unfortunately many can handle the summers, but not the winters. I live out of town where there is no shelter from neighboring houses, and the sandstorms are brutal to these hot house plants.

I travel all over socal and the western U.S. and have been in many, many Home Depots. Some are better than others and I have never reviewed one before, but when I walked into this store even though I was focused on my project I immediately noticed how clean and orderly everything was. The associate who helped me took all the time i needed and led me right to what I needed. I wish they could all be like this one.

I was immediately helped by the workers as i walked in the store. That made me feel welcomed. I left rather quickly because i was attended to and able to find what i needed quickly. I like the clean store and helpful associates. I'll go back soon and recommend shopping there.

Great selection of outdoor plants! I was a bit disappointed that there was no “in need of rescuing” indoor or outdoor plants. Wonderful place to get real Christmas trees!

First time visiting this location. Had to pick up a some material for a job I was doing around the area. Some of the items were ordered ahead of time for following day pick-up and there were some issues on some of the items not being in stock. The employee's were very helpful with the situation and did the best they could. Very nice employee's. One thing I enjoyed was that they have a lumber area in which you can drive-thru and pick up your lumber. They do load the lumber for you if needed. Another good thing is that the crowd level is not too bad. Very clean and organized Home Depot.
